Recommend it! Just ready to be scared the first time that NOAA alarm goes off. Lol
Love this. But just a warning, the NOAA will alarm with any storm nearby, even when you have the radio shut off. (It scared us the first time it happened. Lol) From what I am being told, that is normal for a CB with NOAA. But that feature has come in handy a few times so far. Highly recommend this!

Arrived in perfect condition and works great.
This is a nice radio with lots of great features. I cant find any reason to give it less than 5 stars! Not the newest model available, but more than does the job for a lot less cost. I recently returned to semi truck driving after 35 years away from it. Back then I drove local in southern California and quit using CB because of all the channels being plugged with nothing but garbage. What surprised me is that now there is almost NOTHING on ANY of the channels!!! Not even in a big city like Seattle! But for those who still have a use for CB this is a nice radio and it has the weather channels too, which I find very useful.

Works well, and includes a scan function.
I bought this one since it has a scan function, and to replace another radio I had gotten at a truck stop. Everything on it works well, although the manual did neglect a couple features it has, such as Delta Tune. Although the scan function is a bit slow, it does help find radio traffic when things are quiet. Additionally, it also has a weather radio that uses your CB antenna to pull alerts in, and it WILL go off when an alert is issued. While it plays the alert automatically, I do wish it would switch back to the CB when the weather announcement is complete. (This may be a limitation of the weather system.)

Love this Radio
I've used it on many trips now in some serious snow storms. It really helps to ask Truckers what's going on up the road, and tell them what's going on where I just came from. A must have for a job that requires frequent travel. The Weather Band is awesome as well. The only thing I don't understand about the radio is that it has a feature that will turn it on in case of an alert, it comes on makes a noise and goes right back off without playing the message. I don't know if that how it's supposed to work or it's defective.

LOVE IT!
SO AWESOME! I bought this for my husband since we travel so much. I follow him as he pulls our travel trailer. ALot of times I drive ahead to make sure the route is clear or good to pull the trailer through and it was always a pain to use our cell phones to call each other. Having the cobra CBs is perfect. Quick responses, clear and looks cool too! Edited: I recommend getting a really good antenna

Awesome CB
This is my third Cobra29. I have come to depend on them. I pair them with K-40's, (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000H2W270/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1), and they always perform. I do take them to a radio shop and have them peaked and matched. I don't think that this is necessary, but, I like things done right. It only costs about $50.00 and only has to be done once. I have easily talked 8-10 miles between vehicles while traveling.

Great buy!
My hubby drives a dump truck. He's constantly on or listening to his CB. He loves it! The other truckers love it too! A five star rating From him is a big thumbs up!

Perfect
I got this radio for my husbands birthday last year. This year I upgraded him to the Cobra 29 LX BT with Bluetooth. But Cobra is a great radio period. The 29 LX worked great right out of the box with no tuning. Obviously you can get it tuned and it'll reach further but for using it right out of the box it did a great job. Really can't beat it for the price. He loved this cb and the different color LCD screens. No issues at all. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants a good working radio without spending a couple hundred.

Awesome Radio; Simple Installation
This is a Nice Radio for the amateur or casual CB Radio user. I installed this in my truck and it was extremely simple to install and connect. I put it on a custom center console lockbox in my RAM 2500. I'm not a Professional Trucker so I didn't need a $500 radio in my truck. I get good reception and transmission using a Firestik Antenna connected to the rear bumper. It has a self test mode that is simple to use. I had a short in my antenna connection that I was able to troubleshoot (Not related to the Radio but my installation) which this radio helped me to fix. It has 10 NOAA Weather Channels and can be setup for alerts. I have tested these and they work nicely. Very good detailed instructions! I would recommend this radio!
