Add subs to factory radio!
I purchased this amp with the hopes of pushing 2 JBL GT5-10’s, and installing in a 2008 Acura TL with the factory stereo. The GT5’s are rated at 275 rms and 1100 peak with @ 4 ohm with a SVC. Wired in parallel I fully believe I’m getting most of that 825 rms and 1100 max this amp claims @ 2 ohms. The high level inputs allowed me to take the signal from the factory sub speaker wires and we can still control the subs from the head unit. The woman’s TL is sounding quite good! Great amp!

It’ll get the job done no problem.
I have two 500 watt dual type subs on this amp and they can punch. But if you place it in the trunk like I did air won’t be your friend the amp has a high temp auto shutdown mode when it gets hot....trust me it does it’ll shut down I continue to play my music then waalaa my bass comes punching back love that feature. my car came with previous factory amp that met its demise this amp is kind of large to put under the passenger seat cause it will get stepped on so trunk it is.

This product made me a believer in budget audio Updated: 6/20/18
When i was in highschool i was really into expensive audio solutions and swore i would never buy a "Boss amp". Seven years later my $600 premium amp finally died and warranty ended four years ago. I'm not crazed about audio like i used to be but i don't think i could live without at least a single 15" behind my seat. I needed a new Amp, enter the Cheap Boss amp. Let me start by saying i have always held a high bias over any Boss product, calling it a cheap walmart brand. Boy was i ever wrong, now i'm not cranking this thing out to 2ohm at 2000rms but it still powers my 15" comp sub beautifully. For the price i would easily buy another if it died. $50 for 6 months of use it totally worth it, only thing is that its been OVER six months and still performs like it did on day one. It's kind of funny because i always talked trash about this brand. UPDATE: 6/20/18 This thing is still doing work, i didn't expect it to last more than 6 months and it's still pushing like day 1 I think i am officially a fanboy at this point, if it died tomorrow id have another one ordered within the hour

Straight budget pimpin.
Dude. Was impressed right out of the box. Was very skeptical because of the price point and I've never purchased an amp under $250.00 This has a superb brushed metal finish and the boss logo lights up which looks cool if you plan on exposing it. I've always stuck with the best like precision power and JL audio but this was for a serious budget project. Im very happy. Only needed 200 watts rms for the sub and this amp is providing more than enough at 1/3 power. Hopefully it lasts.

This is a Great Deal
This amp has been powering one 10" pioneer shallow mount sub and it has done great so far. I've had it for about two months and there is no issue. It hasn't gotten too hot yet, everything has been normal. The level control is definitely something I value having because being able to change the bass level on the fly is required when switching between different genres of music. So far this thing has done a great job and you can't beat the price.

Amazing amp
Amazing amp!! It came with more then enough supplies needed and it came with lots of extra wiring to.. I ended up putting this in a hatchback and it really does amplify the music to no ins. I've had a lot of people tell me that boss was a bad brand but my personal opinion is completely amazing my whole car has nothing but boss and I highly highly recommend this. And I do recommend if you mount the amp anywhere visible that you do have it where you can cover it but still let it breathe so it doesn't overheat because that blue light with the lettering is very bright it lights up the whole car at night. A lot of people would recommend putting the amp under the seat me personally because I have a lot of traffic in and out of the car it was bound to just get surrounded by stuff so I ended up mounting it on to my subwoofer box and I get no issues whatsoever... it came packaged very great no damaging or anything handling was amazing and this was one of the very fastest shipments I got in and I ended up ordering over 40 something items for Christmas.

Great amp for the price
I bought this amplifier to pair with my BOSS 12" Subwoofer. I bought the "kit" version as I figured having all of the wiring would be handy, however in my case I opted to go a bit bigger with the wire gauge as I'm using it to drive a 2-ohm load. In the second picture you'll see I used 4-gauge for the ground, 6-gauge for the power, and 8-gauge for the speaker wire. The amp itself is mounted nicely underneath the rear-driver's-side seat, where I can easily access the gain and other adjustments with little effort (see the 3rd picture). Be sure to provide ample cooling space around the amplifier, and you'll be sure to get years of use out of this 2-ohm stable amplifier! The "kit" version is most likely okay if you are driving a 4- or 8-ohm load, I only chose to bump the wire gauge up because of the 2-ohm load, and because I had access to the heavier wire... For reference, it's installed in a 2008 Chrysler Aspen with the Alpine "premium" sound system. The stock system sounds great, it just needed a little bit of extra "kick", and this BOSS system did the trick nicely. Highly recommended if you're going for extra bass. It won't rattle the neighbors' windows, but it will give a new depth to your music if matched with the right subwoofer and adjusted properly.

I was able to install it the same day didnt really had a chance to adjust the knobs and fine tone it
Bought this amp last week, The delivery was amazingly fast. I was able to install it the same day didnt really had a chance to adjust the knobs and fine tone it. The next day i did and wow im impressed with this amp. I replaced my previous amp it was a crunch 1300.d 2 channel. it would get hot worked fine but i think it was to powerful for my setup i have a 10' bassline alpine sub small enclose box in my truck ram. the boss amp picked up that sub to perfection sub 250wattts rms 700 watt max perfect match. id recommended even though the price makes it sound sketchy. nice light up to

WOW.
So far, so good! Cannot believe it works so well for the price being asked. I have this pushing a single Rockford Fosgate R1 Prime 10" and it hits great! Still tuning with the LPF settings, but overall I am impressed. I really hope it lasts and keeps up it's quality performance. This setup replaced a single, powered Bazooka tube that worked great (just hungry for more BASS/punch). I ended up installing it on top of my single sub box enclosure using rubber grommets between the mounting tabs from my local hardware store. I do not have a whole lot of audio experience, but hear mixed recs on mounting the sub to the sub enclosure. It seems to be fine for my application.

Performs just as well as expensive amplifiers
This is an awesome amp for the price. I had a nice $300 kicker that powered (2) 8” kicker subs and it went out after 14 years in my truck and I need another amp. I had a boss headunit in the past and loved it so I deceive to give their amp a try and I was blown away by the performance. This powes the subs with no problem and performs just as well as my old expensive kicker amp. The bass control actually controls he bass level which is nice to control when listenting to rap and jump the classic rock. I would recommend purchasing this boss amplifer. You will be amazed like I was.
