If you’re looking for a good solid tray to store or transport deviled eggs or any other half-egg like substance this is the very thing you need. If you were hoping it might make a good frisbee alternative, you won’t be entirely disappointed. If, on the other hand, you were considering purchasing this item as a low buck alternative for the janky flat donut spare tire in your trunk... well, you might just reconsider it. Yes, it will be just as useful as that airless hunk of rubber and cheap steel that some bean counter thought was the perfect thing to throw in the trunk. But. In general it just won’t quite fit the hub and will make for a really short rough ride before it fails on you completely... not exactly unlike the donut spare. Remember when they put real spare tires in cars? I do. It wasn’t an option either. When you bought a car you got a full size wheel that usually matched the others on you care with a real tire not one of those cheap, flat, Hope the inflator still works, get you 3 miles at 20mph before it comes apart... I digress... sorry, as you get older you tend to ramble sometimes. One moment you and a friend are discussing the best way to smoke a turkey and the next you are babbling on about the neighbors cat walking all over your car right after you just washed and waxed it. And, why is car wash soap so stinking expensive anyway? I mean it’s mostly water with a few chemicals in it to... see what I mean? Yeah, this is a good buy for securely storing your eggy substances to the next family dinner.

Now I can easily transport my jalapeño-bacon deviled eggs! It’s a bit tricky to close but still will give it 5 starts for how cheap it is!!

Before buying this product, I read through many of the reviews, including the 1 star reviews, but I decided to purchase, and I am glad I did. I used this to serve deviled eggs at an outdoor BBQ. I did transport in the car both containers, filled with 36 egg halves, in these containers, and while the reviews do suggest, and hold true the fact that they do are not easy to close, I was able to get them closed and the eggs stayed put in transport. Also, they did sit nicely on top of the flipped over lids filled with ice. Because the eggs sit flat in each nook, you will need a serving utensil to assist in grabbing them. Again, perfect for the price, you can play the same or more for a one time use product, so I think this was a solid choice!

Over all the product is good. I do wish you could lock both trays together and I wish that the way they locked together was a little more secured. Over all I was able to carry with easy aside from that! The family also likes that I had a new deviled egg tray! The container can easily fit into the lid when on the table adding some stability!

You definitely get what you pay for with these egg trays. They are 2 trays for about 8 bucks, so don't expect them to be super high quality. The quality is similar to what you get at the dollar store. However, they do the job and you are getting storage and secure transportation for up to 36 items (deviled eggs, chocolate covered strawberries, etc.) Also, the fact that you can flip the lid over, add ice & keep the items cold is fabulous! Storing them is easy since they stack inside each other. I haven't tried washing them in the dishwasher yet since I need to use them soon and don't want to risk them melting before then. I'll let you know if I have problems with that in the future.

I purchased them for 2 reasons.1. for deviled eggs. Great in the fridge and very handy and easy to transport. 2. One for Atelier acrylic paints when I go to workshops. I have one for my botanical art paints. The remainder I use for paint trays for my watercolour paints. Each tray holds 18 tubes of watercolour. I have 1 for yellow and brown colours, 1 for reds and greens, 1 for blues, black and white. Another artist advised me to get some because she had an old deviled egg plate and uses it all the time. I am very pleased I listened to her. I number the paints on the underside of the clear plastic and have a list corresponding to the numbers with the name of the colours. On the back of my work I write the numbers so I will always know the colours I used for my creations. I can stack them on top of one another to save on cupboard space. Very happy.

Bought these last minute because I always hate dealing with deviled eggs that slide around everywhere in a regular Tupperware container. Perfect for travel, the eggs do not slide one bit, fit extra large eggs with very generous filling. I didn't have any issues with the locking mechanism. The two containers easily stack inside a fridge or bag, although their not technically *made* with stacking capability.

I love these! They aren't made to carry from the top. But that isn't what I bought them for. I bought 4 sets & took my signature deviled eggs to a family gathering in them. Everyone there found them easy to use. They also saved space on the serving table since they are stackable. The only draw back is the closing feature on them. Not the best, but they work.

I make and eat a lot of deviled eggs, cholesterol be damned! These are perfect for storage when you make as many eggs as I do. The little divets are a tiny bit too big for regular large chicken eggs, as my egg halves typically sink down beneath the surface. But if you don't mind getting your hands dirty to grab one, it's no big deal. The only thing that's a little tricky is closure of the snaps on the sides. You have to kind of push the lid over a bit to make sure both snaps close with a "click."

This product is an inexpensive way to transport your deviled without having them slide back and forth and get mushed up against the side of a container. If you are careful and watch what you're doing, the lids are easy to snap on and off, and the grooves for the eggs are deep enough that those eggs aren't going *anywhere!* I even laid the containers into my cooler at a 30 degree angle because the cooler wasn't wide enough, and the eggs didn't budge. The top and can be removed and filled with ice then the carrier laid on top so the eggs stay cold for a full afternoon - not that they won't get eaten faster than that....
