Firstly, note the price you're paying before levying a complaint. These coins are not going to be pristine and they aren't advertised as such. The coin grade listed is AG to VG - which means they vary between 2 grades above Poor to 6 grades below Brilliant Uncirculated. And it's a grab bag, as stated, so you might receive duplicates. For the price - it's still a great deal! I received: 1 - 1888 3 - 1912 2 - 1903 1 - 1911 They were all readable dates. When you look at value for the coins, on the low end I've over fifty dollars worth of coins I purchased for less than ten dollars.

I bought these coins for my collection and I am very pleased, they were in better condition than what the pics show, so if you need coins of this nature don't hesitate to buy these I am well pleased.

You get what you pay for and yes it is always a risk on something like this. Apparently I have had the luck of the draw with the few times I ordered and so far all of mine are clear dates. They are a little rough, but you're not buying a MS 70 coin here. These have been circulated and a lot of wear of course is to be expected. However, with that being said for what I paid I am very happy and I have had two turn out good enough to be worth about a 1/4 of what the whole set is. If you're a a person that enjoys the history of having the coins in your overall collection then my experience has been excellent for sure!

I'm very pleased with this purchase. All coins matched grade as advertized. I could resell if I wanted but I'll keep them. All dates are readable and VF VG. I have a lot of coins. These Barbers are ok with me.

I really enjoyed giving these as gifts. They are real and fairly good, not spotless but hey if I look good at that age, I'd be thrilled.

Definitley worth the buy, I actually got an AG 1 1885 key date. When you sent this you guys shoulda looked a bit harder because those go for 100+ bucks. Very very pleased. These coins are not searched for sure.

I bought these accepting the risk of them being in terrible condition, however they we're VF to EF condition. Not all the coins will be like this. These are from far back as the late 1800's. Dont expect MS+ condition..

I collect old coins and have been since 1963 and love these old nickels and purchased several this year. Love them in my collection

I prefer old coins with some wear on them, I buy them as touchstones of by gone times. These were very worn, but or the price I'm not complaining. When you show someone a 1902 nickel, there pretty impressed. I may buy more.
