When we started potty training our two year old, I immediately looked for something that would save us in the event of an accident in the car. I came upon this item and love it. It couldn't be any easier to place in the seat. You just pull the buckle through the hole and you're ready to go. If it gets dirty, just throw it into the washer and air dry. THe best part is how absorbent this piddle is with liquids. My son has urinated, spilled water, and sat in a wet swimsuit in the piddle and yet it absorbs it all. An added bonus, if you slow your children to eat in the car and their seat gets dirty, this protects the seat off and you don't have to take the whole car seat apart to clean the seat. Best buy and bang for your buck. It makes your life easier.

I have 2 of these and am about to get a third one for my baby that is due in a few weeks. I have a 3 year old and a 16 month old. I love them! They have saved me from having to wash the entire carseat multiple times, especially when my 3 year old was potty training. I still use it for her cause accidents can still happen and when they do, I just take this pad out and throw it in the wash. Super easy! The only con really is that it does move around in the seat with my 3 year old because she moves around so much when getting into her seat. When I buckle her, I just pull it back into the right place underneath her and it's good to go. Not really a big deal. Overall, great product.

I use these in my toddlers’ carseats for two reasons: 1) For my potty training 3 yr old. He hasn’t had many accidents in his car seat, but I like having a buffer between him and the surface of the seat for easier cleaning. I don’t expect it to completely hold and contain all of the urine if he does have an accident, but simply to make it easier to clean him or have the ability for him to still sit in a relatively dry seat until we get home. 2) I also have one in my 1 yr olds seat, who hasn’t started potty training yet, but is a terribly messy eater. With this seat insert, I can simply pull it out, shake the crumbs off and keep going.

This thing has saved my sanity! I was going crazy having to remove the padding from our Graco Contender 65 to clean up after potty training accidents. Some carseats may not be a big deal to lug in/out of your car and figure out how on earth to remove (then properly REPLACE!?!) the padding...but that is NOT a strong point for this specific carseat. Not to mention, those pads should not be dried in a dryer, so air drying is very time consuming. In my desperation, I searched, found this and ordered immediately. It has helped so much. The only weakness is that if your child is a super heavy wetter, like mine can be at times, it may not fully absorb and still leak a little beyond this pad. I think removing it as quickly as possible after your child pees helps with this too, so compression doesn't compound the problem. All in all though, I'm very happy with this, wish I'd had it with my first kid and ideally need one more as a spare backup while the other is dirty.

This little invention has saved me many times during the potty training process. Removing a car seat cover is a major pain and this little seat guard has kept me from having to do that at least 3 times. It’s a little absorbent and provides a solid barrier against the car seat. It also has non skid material on the bottom so it doesn’t slide around in the seat. Plus, the seatbelt threads through the bottom of the cover, keeping it firmly in place. I recommend this to anyone potty training a child or facing lots of potty accidents. This saves everyone grief and I bought an extra, just in case.

My daughter was a “power Pooper” from the age of about 2 months old and would have a complete blowout with 99% of her diapers, so at least one huge blowout a day for several months. Since her favorite place to poop was her car seat, we were stuck washing her entire car seat constantly, which was a nightmare. This liner saved us—when she had a blowout, we were able to remove and wash the liner instead of having to wash the entire car seat! It is thin enough that it doesn’t compromise safety, but totally waterproof and covers the entire Butt area—the bottom, sides and buckle area, so leaks rarely occur. I recommend this to all of my friends having babies now, and am going to get it back out in a few weeks when I start to potty train her!

A must for a newly potty-trained toddler! My daughter potty trained right at 2 years old, and had great control. But, long road trips did make me nervous. Especially in the beginning, she was prone to minor accidents if she fell asleep in the car. This seat cover fit great in her car seat, wasn't bulky, and didn't bunch up when she sat in it. It's soft to the touch, and definitely stops accidents from seeping into the seat. A year later, we still leave it in her seat, just in case. She hasn't had a potty related accident in many months, but carsickness has appeared recently. She threw up on a 12 hour road trip, and this pad caught the majority of the mess. We still had a bit to clean up on the rest of her seat, but this definitely saved us several hours of cleaning. Highly recommend it for anyone with toddlers!

I've read a lot of reviews complaining about the length of this pad. Where does your kid pee?!? This is a great size for it not to bulk up the car seat. Super thin, but you can see how resistant it is. I've had it since we started potty training, which was like 2 months ago, but haven't had any car accidents, so i can't say HOW the product works. It looks like it would! Also, i like that there's room for the safety harness to adjust and go through the side flaps of the pad, for maximum security.

We bought one for each car seat when my son started potty training. They have been amazing!! When he is wearing the training underwear that holds a little more liquid, this works perfectly and his car seat is completely dry. If he is in regular underwear, the car seat may be a little damp because its just too much liquid for this pad to hold. Totally worth it to save on tearing apart the car seat to wash it every time he has an accident. I love that you can just throw this right in the wash. Its soft and comfortable for my son to sit on too.

Love! A must have if you have little ones whether they are in diaper/potty trained/somewhere in between. What I love: Easy to remove Stays in place Absorbs well Doesn’t smell Keeps my car seats free of stains and allows me to easily wash the insert rather than the whole Cover Cons: None really. Other than in some car seat brands it bulls up a little because of the shape. It fits perfectly in my Graco car sears (both infant seats and convertibles). But it is a little tricky to get placed just right in my Chicco Next fit. Still love it though. I have one in each car seat at all times
