Great value, easy to use

My 9 year old son asked for one of these for Christmas this year and let me tell you, that was money well spent! He's been making them all day every day since then this winter break! He loves all the flavors, loved the cone cups and straws, and best of all he doesn't need our help to use it. He is dying to set up a shaved ice stand in the neighborhood this summer!

The consistency is perfect

OMG! I love this machine! If you go to a shaved ice hut on the side of the road they charge anywhere from 3 to 5 dollars for a small sno-cone, with this you can make your own any size you want and the flavors are amazing exact same thing in some places and better tasting than others. Everyone in the house loves them from young to old!

Great easy to use snow cone maker

We got this as a Christmas gift for my son, and he loves it. It is easy to use and works well with regular ice cubes, which is a plus (we usually let them sit out about 5 minutes before shaving them). He loves to make us all snow cones! I also like that it comes apart for easy cleaning. I am picky about snow cones, but this shaves the ice fine, and they taste delicious. I would definitely recommend this product.

A hit with the kids

A definate hit with the 12 year birthday girl. The kids at the birthday party had a great time playing with it. It helped make a small party more special and was used instantly upon opening. Hard crunchy ice - not like snow. Safe for kids to operate, so parents could talk and the kids even wanted to make us the ice. Uses bagged ice cubes. The engine definitely got stressed after 2 minutes, so you really do need to stop for a short time for lots of people . Made great mocktails too. Look online - there are make your own syrup recipes using sugar, koolaid , water and a stove if you want to save money or get away from corn syrup. Not gourmet, but for the price point and its intended use/audience, a neat product.

Perfect Shaved Ice

This is great. I love that you can use regular ice and not the special ice blocks that other machines require. There’s a picture of a cone holder for the paper cones, but it doesn’t come with one. Definitely worth the money.

Shaved ice everyday!

Why did it take me so long to buy this!?! I love shaved ice and when I was pregnant with both of my kids craved it! I just now bought this set and I am obsessed. I have a shaved ice every day! It sits right on my counter when all other appliances get put away in the cabinets. I don’t have a coffee maker I have a shaved ice maker. The ice texture is perfect and the syrups are great! They are very concentrated and last a long time. I need more flavors! Love that I can just use ice cubes. Very impressed.

WHO KNEW THIS WOULD MAKE ME "GRANDMA OF THE YEAR...?

I have six grandchildren ages 6 thru 12. I also have a 6-yr. old great niece. When it looked like winter may NEVER end, I sent my loved ones this snow cone machine to bring a little sunshine. I thought they'd keep it packaged until summer...but, oh no. They opened and used it the VERY FIRST DAY!!!!! They each took turns calling me and giggling and just SQUEALING w/delight. Who knew this was going to be SUCH A HIT???!!! And, not only does this LOOK good...it WORKS like a champ!!!!!!!!!!! Swear...every nite they make themselves a snow-come after school. Their friends actually CALL to come over to make one of their OWN!! It's crazy!!! This is BY FAR the best gift I have ever given!!! Just what we wanted!!!

Amazing! This makes a product that is small pieces of ice versus a snow, which is exactly he texture I was looking for. I got this two weeks ago for my sons birthday. He loves snow cones and now that he has braces the ones that are pre-packaged are too hard. He’s 11 and uses in his own, it’s really easy and quick. The flavors also taste great and come with their own small spout you can use for a narrower pour. Very happy with this purchase.

Best thing I've bought in a long time

Couldn't say enough good things about this. Got it for my seven year olds birthday. Not only does it work perfectly and effortlessly BUT she can do it by herself because the blade doesn't turn on until the caps on tight. Best money I've spent in a while. Oh and the flavors are good too! Pleasantly surprised

5 stars! Great product

This machine is great! I just bought it for my son as a Christmas present and we just tried it out. The instructions were straight forward and there’s basically no assembly. I used regular ice cubes from a standard ice tray and it worked just fine and I’ll continued to use regular ice however, I think smaller cubes would make the shavings a little more soft and fluffy. Either way, this product gets 5 stars from me!
