Excellent thread
I am an Aurifil convert! After trying several brands of 100% cotton thread needed for some projects, I was getting frustrated with fraying threads, breakage and lint galore in the machine. I spent way too much time ripping out seams where the thread would break inbetween and leave me with an uneven line. (And no, it isn't a tension issue - tried every possible combo - it was the THREAD.) I invested in my first spool of Aurifil (and for my budget, it is indeed an investment), not truly expecting much of anything different, but it came highly recommended by so many ladies in an online quilting group. Now I can see why! Aurifil works very well with my Brother sewing machine. I've not had any tangles, breakage or abnormal lint buildup when using Aurifil. My only actual complaint about it (besides it being very expensive) is the problem with getting colors correct. For those of us who cannot get this thread locally and must order online, it can be VERY difficult to get the color you want. Aurifil offers a thread color chart, but they are apparently lined with gold for the price they ask for it. You would think they would make the charts very affordable so customers can buy MORE thread from them. They are forgetting the challenges of shopping online, with monitor/display differences. I tried using the color chart parts that are visible and still ended up with two nearly identical threads. I can't afford to buy every color they have, so it was a disappointment. So, the quality is wonderful and I recommend it. Buy in person if you can. I only wish Aurifil could see things from my side of the screen.

The one I was told to use than I went cheap. Went back and this is the only one I will ever use again. You can tell in the finished quilt.

Best Thread on the Market.
Best thread on the market. Runs smoothly through my machine and I love using it for hand stitching too. Yes, it's expensive but well worth the price. This is all I buy now that I've discovered this 100% cotton thread for general sewing.

Fantastic thread...AURIFIL !
So glad I got past the cost, this thread is wonderful, bobbin thread last so much longer, feels nice to the touch, lays flatter, makes 1/4" seams easy to obtain and very little lint build up, very very little. Replacing my Essential threads, way to much lint, was always cleaning feed dogs and bobbin area. I am an Aurifil fan now, so happy with the product. I have been sewing for more years than I care to remember, but this thread is great.

Awesome Thread
I had never used this thread before. I put it on my machine and started sewing. There was no lint build up, like I had with the name brand thread I was using. My seams are strong and the allowances are perfect. It seamed a but high priced at first but there is allot of thread per spool and worth every penny. I will be purchasing this thread from now on. Thank you Aurifil!

The best for any quilter.
Beautiful, smooth, and just melts into your fabric. Don't cheap out on your thread when you quilt. This is the only thread to use. 10 stars. Do yourself a favor and invest in the color card of all their threads. http://www.amazon.com/Aurifil-Cotton-Thread-Colors-Threads/dp/B00HEZOD52/spydersempire

Amazed at the difference this thread makes in my sewing
Amazed at the difference this thread makes in my sewing. I was able to complete a wallhanging that was very difficult. The other thread would break every few stitches, when the aurifil arrived I started sewing with it and finished the project without breaking the thread once and the stitched were much smoother and looked a ton better. Worth every cent!
