It is becoming harder and harder finding 61 Black, unless you want to buy the twin pack that contains 1 black and 1 Tri-color, I have so many Tri-color right now and was so happy to find the twin where both are black.

Ink Jet ink is always notorious on HP as well as any other brand of printer for drying up either from constant printing or when not having printed anything for a lengthy period of time and then go to print.... Nothing! Had a sealed box of tricolor cartridges and this was the match up of the black ink cartridges in a timely fashion to get the prints rolling again! Have been looking at color lazer printer now that some prices have come down from the $400+ clubs to just over $300 seen lately! Found another "HP" once again model of that to consider while will still be needing these for the time being!

Genuine HP ink is the way to go!

I always purchase genuine HP ink cartridges because in the past a former printer of mine was totally ruined by using printer ink refills purchased online. The ink is exactly as stated, arrived on the stated date with no issues.

love this product it works great in my printer which is an HP printer. I had tried a cheaper brand that claimed to work with my HP the ink leaked and I threw it in the trash..Now I only use the HP ink for my printer...I highly recommend this product.

Printer Ink

Obviously authentic product. Compatible with my HP ENVY 5530. Ink does not dry out inside printer as quickly as the ones recommended for the Lexmark inkjet printer I used to have. The set of two black ink cartridges seems a good buy.

If you have to buy...buy these

Good deal. You are going to get ripped-off by somebody for your HP cartridges. That is the way HP plans it. You get a cheap printer, they gouge you for a lifetime of cartridges. But you knew that already, or you wouldn't be on here! You try to save as much as you can...Costco...coupons at Staples..whatever. I needed these fast. I ran out of ink one night and knew Amazon would be able to get these to me in a day... I bought. Good deal. Shipped / arrived in one day! (How do they do that?!!) Anyway, I am happy. It's ever fun buying printer cartridges, but this value pack minimizes the pain.

Not the cheapest, but it works flawlessly without generating error messages or being rejected by HP. I'd had it with cheaper knock-offs which caused problems, and will continue to use HP cartridges henceforth.

I only use HP ink cartidges, over 15 years of uses from various HP printers. Not one HP cartridge has ever failed to work and they all worked perfectly till the ink ran out including all the +2 years expired cartridges via clearance sales. Plus I can easily sell my many used empty HP cartridges and that will help purchase my next HP printer. Remember your printing stuff like prepaid tickets, and shipping labels that have barcodes. Can you afford to smudge in your barcodes? Do you have enough road time to deal with a faded section of map-quest? Can you trust your sample pictures color shades with aftermarket ink? Are you really sure you can afford to trust an aftermarket ink cartridge to make things on paper clear and simple?

Works fine - decent price

I was buying another brand of cart that was cheaper....I think they were refills. They worked fine, but my printer kept complaining about it. I just got tired of all the grief from my printer and went back to the real thing. Doh !!!
