... I looked at many that are out there and like some, didn't want to spend this much on ...
When looking for an additional entry step for our motorhome I looked at many that are out there and like some, didn't want to spend this much on a step so I ended up buying a cheaper model at first and yes, it didn't work well, was a hassle and realized I should of got this unit. So I came back to Amazon and bout this one. I love it. The legs adjust independently, they fold nicely to make storing nice and it's very sturdy. It's worth every penny. Wish I would of bought this in the first place.

Very strong, great value
Gave as a gift. Receiver very pleased. Legs were a bit stiff at first, but a shot of lube and all is well. Only issue, lack of drainage in the feet for wet weather. If your not careful, expect to get a bit damp when you fold it up after a rain.

Sturdy, wide and stable - just what's needed
We have a Class A that normally gives us no issues with steps, but we parked at a campgrounds where the front end of our rig was appraoching airborne and the steps just wouldn't cut it, Our neighbor had a set like these and they were sturdy, wide and adjustable. They are heavy but they give a feeling of solid and safe which my wife really enjoyed. Next day, we purchased our own set. Couldn't be happier

Outstanding Quality
This product is so far advanced and higher quality versus the older one that I had been using which is the PA-100 model. I purchased this one to replace the old one because I needed a folding step to get in and out of my "Rolling Garage", which is a 30 foot Pace Shadow Cargo Trailer. I was in and out of the garage too frequently and stepping up that high and bouncing down onto the ground all of the time was getting real old. Now I have the older step PA-100 for the garage and the new VERY sturdy adjustable PA-250 step for the coach. The one and only drawback to this is the cost of replacing the rubber feet, $10 for a set of four. I have been using 1 1/2 inch round black rubber chair tips for the PA-100 step but I now see that they have an improved rubber foot for that model. It looks exactly like the ones on the new model PA-250 so I will wait to see how they hold up to formulate my final opinion. Here is a link to the replacement parts for both model steps. Comes In Very Handy
I originally purchased this to get in and out of a handicapped conversion van. We've since purchased a van that's lower to the ground. We've found this platform step to be very useful in and out of our home. My spouse uses it to reach items higher up in the kitchen cabinets. Being handicapped, it makes changing our cat's litter box much easier. Our cleaning lady uses it to dust. Most of all, it's well made, adjustable and will last us many years.

Nice extra step for RV that’s adjustable.
Very nice product. Using it as a step for my RV. Well built. Adjustable legs easy to extend and fold unlike another brand I ordered and had to return. Not sure where it is made. Patents noted on box cover four Countries including USA. Saved some money by purchasing used from Amazon. Appears new when I received it. Only box appears worn......but I am not using the box.

A quality product.
I had a set of risers put in the suspension of my travel trailer. With the suspension now a couple inches higher the trailer's bottom step seemed like a long way off the ground. Add in some uneven terrain and the lowest step was even further from the ground. I looked at several steps and decided on this Stromberg Carlson model: It appeared to be sturdy - and it is. The legs are individually adjustable to give you the opportunity to increase the length and make it more stable on an uneven surface. The surface of the step has non-slip tape on each slat. It folds flat and stores easily in the camper. The price seemed a bit high compared to other steps but it is a quality product and with the adjustable legs it's worth the money,

Well made and stable as well as adjustable.
Bought this to help my husband get into truck. I have it at the highest setting and that splits the distance between the ground and the step rail on the side of my Tundra. It is very stable and one can adjust individual legs for uneven ground. Three of the legs folded up easily on the first try, but one was stiff. It is improving with use. Very happy with this purchase because it has a large slip proof surface, sturdy, and it is well made.

Offers so much benefit! Great addition!
The may very well be the best camping purchase ever! With a fairly recent knee replacement this step is invaluable. I really did my research before purchasing and am glad I spent the extra money for this one. It is of perfect size , folds up easily for easy storage, and cleans up nicely. While only providing that small extra step, it offers tremendous benefit. My daughter was camping beside us, and she was so excited impressed she has already ordered one!

Safety First
I didn't want to pay this much for a simple step. I mean, I _really_ didn't want to. I also, however, didn't want a cheaper unit collapsing under me out in the middle of the wilderness and fracturing my ankle or leg where my cell phone won't work. It's expensive, but well-built and of high quality.
