My son LOVES this toy! The engine and horn noises are great. It comes with 10 big blocks, that can be stored under the seat. We also bought him the big blocks dump truck to play with and the two look great together.

I bought this truck for my kids a few years ago and just wanted to update you to tell you how it's held up...it's awesome and still in great shape! For the first year we had it, we stored it inside with the megablocks in it. As it turns out, my kids aren't really into blocks yet (they are 3 and 1.5 years old). It's rather large and we have a small playroom, so I decided to turn it into an outdoor toy since they don't use blocks. For about a year, it's been stored under our deck, where it gets some rain, but not a ton. It's held up really well through four seasons in the mid-Atlantic...ice, snow, sun, pollen, and heat. My youngest daughter got it out today to push around in the yard, so I snapped a photo for you so you can see the size. It really has held up well and the size is perfect for my little one to have fun pushing around.

This was exactly what I was looking for in a dump truck for my little girl. We would go to the playground with another little boy, and she was constantly playing with his dump truck. So I knew I had to buy her one! All of the other dump trucks on amazon seemed pretty expensive for being a generally simplistic toy. This one was at the right price point and is the right size for a toddler; she loves to drive it around the floor and puts all sorts of things into the back of the truck. The dump truck bed lifts and dumps smoothly. The little man and blocks are big enough to not be a choking hazard, and we already have other mega blocks that she plays with so the few blocks that came with it are actually useful. The only con I can see is if you don't have other mega blocks, I'm not sure what you could build as only a few blocks came in the back of the dump. However, that's not enough to take away a star as they put as many as can fit into the back of the dump truck, and at least it comes with something for your little to "dump" and put back in. five stars--would recommend

I got this Mega Bloks dump truck along with a dump truck board book for a visit with my friend's 18 month old boy. He LOVED the dump truck toy, and was running around looking for things to put in the bed of the truck. The toy itself looks well built, and Mega Bloks is certainly a quality name. Highly recommend.

My 10 m old son went nuts over this truck, however he would rather flip the dump part over and sit on the toy to try and ride it. He pushes it all over the house making sounds and it came with 25 blocks. Loved the colors of the blocks. Well built and durable.

Too cute! I purchased this for my sons birthday and both he and I LOVE IT! He's still at the pre-walker stage so this dump truck gives him a sturdy large enough for him to push and hold on to. It comes with several blocks (that I didn't expect). It's perfect for a 1st birthday. My three year old daughter loves it too and they have been arguing over it for a few days now.

Gosh! My Little man actually loves this truck!

Bought this for my two year old nephew for his birthday. He absolutely LOVES it! Pros: - Makes realistic construction sounds. You might be like me and discreetly turn the sound off ("I think the batteries aren't working!") if it gets to be too much. - The digger bucket is a great feature. Nephew digs the dirt (both the leggos that come with the ride on and some smaller ones) and dumps it into a play dump truck he has. - Sturdy material. My nephew is a boy's boy. He can be rough. I can tell this ride on will last a long time. - Perfect size for a two year old. Cons: - My nephew has long legs. While it fits him fine now, I'm not sure if he will still be able to ride on it if he has a major growth spurt. That being said, as a nursery school teacher, I've seen tall five year olds ride on scooters and ride on toys that are designed to fit a 1-3 year old. I've read in some reviews that people consider a "con" the fact that a lot of ride ons (like this one) don't actually have the ability for the wheels to turn when the steering wheel is. Again, as a nursery school teacher, I can tell you that I haven't seen many that do. Even tried and true favorites like Step2's Cozy Coupe doesn't have that ability. At this stage, from ages 1-~3, most children don't have the coordination to accomplish that hand/eye skill. In the end, the fact that it doesn't steer doesn't make this any less entertaining of a toy. If you have a small construction worker in your house, he/she will LOVE this!

I bought this as a birthday gift for a tall two-year-old. He is very into construction right now and had no interest in playing with any other birthday gifts except for this Mega Bloks Ride On Caterpillar. His parents were also very happy with the quality of it. Based on other reviews, I was initially worried that he would be too tall for it but that was not an issue and I think he will enjoy it for another year or two! Highly recommend!!

I was back and forth about this toy and another ride on where the steering wheel moves the tires. I chose this one and its the best decision for my 14 month old. Hes a big kid for his age so i like the sturdiness of the ride on and he loves sitting and spinning the wheel and the seat comes up to put things in... he drags it around by the shovel in the back... its a great toy for him to learn and scoot around on it.
