Holding heavy weight on Metal Studs?
If you need to hang something heavy from metal studs (like a TV mount) this is what you need. These are amazingly strong and easy to use. Drill a hole, push it in, turn the toggle, and insert screw. The thing will hold hundreds of pounds if you jam it through a steel stud. This is the right way to hang a TV on a mount in an apartment with steel studs.

WOW!!!
Our studs are concrete... I swear. Only one drill could get through them and it was a plug in one and even that smoked. So, I did some research! Found these bad boys, GREAT deal for 10! We used 6 just to ease my anxiety and our TV is up high and looking good! That's a 32 inch LG. Not a newer TV. I think I bought it in 2009. These things are a life saver so we didn't have to ship back the mount!

Good anchors
Much easier than the heavy duty metal drill-less anchors. I've used both these and drill-less toggle anchors. I'm not talking about the spiral screw shaped anchors that hold 60 lbs. The drill-less will let you use a screwdriver turn the anchor that bores a hole through drywall and an anchor will rotate out when you put a screw through. The problem is the anchor does not always deploy correctly. Both instances when it didn't work, the anchors became non-functional. Granted this is just a small number experience, but 2 of 6 didn't work for me. These however had none fail on me. I had a problem with one, but I just stuck a screwdriver in to shift over the anchor. Literally, less then 10 seconds to adjust. You'll actually need some power tools to use these, but they are so easy to install. Definitely, I would recommend these for heavier items you want to hang on a wall if you can't use a use or find a stud in the area.

Awesome!
These are the best! Have a 50" tv hanging with them, a 10' projector screen, a projector mount from the ceiling, and have other uses planned. Once in, they feel very strong. Very easy to install. Be a little careful with breaking off the long pieces once you're at that point though, the part that is inside of the wall will crack fairly easy too if you are careless. Same with if you have to remove one, or if you are trying to use in a way that the screw isn't going to be tight against the wall, like if you want the screw sticking out some to hang a large picture. In that case, I'd suggest a washer and nut on the bolt, tightened up against the wall with the desired amount of bolt sticking out. You need it to hold the part that is inside of the wall tight up against the wall. With a little movement, it might cause cracking. That's not a big deal since your bolt is attached to the metal piece inside the wall, but if you ever remove it, or maybe even try to adjust it, the metal piece will fall off and drop inside the wall. These are well worth the cost to simply replace though.

You can't beat these
Used to by these from the HILTI section at HomeDepot until Hilti moved out of HD stores. I've used a ton of these for TV installations on walls. These have a capacity to hold hundred of pounds. I'd use 4-6 per TV bracket installation for 46-60" TVs always with satisfying results. Nobody every called back to say their TV dropped :) and I dont expect to hear that ever. They do however call back to have a 2nd and 3rd hanged. Speaks volumes. Get them and you won't regret. Recommendation. When you feed the swivel bar through the hole and slide down the retaining piece use quick sideway motion to snap it off.

Awesome! I like these way better than standard toggle bolts. I've installed ~20 of them so far without a single issue. Not a single one has broken off or dropped behind the wall. I've been using these to mount patch panels, TV mounting brackets, even (big) air compressor FRL's to the wall. I was initially turned on to these as our newest location is in a building with all metal studs (a new world to me!). I would venture a guess to say they are a little liberal in the weight specs. I'm a 200lb guy and I certainly wouldn't plan on hanging off of a single bolt. Toggler says they're good for 324lb in 5/8 drywall. I wouldn't bet on that.

Best heavy duty wall anchors
The best heavy duty wall anchors. These are so much better than the spring type toggles purely for the fact that the bolt can be removed and reinstalled. Look at the load ratings to see if these will be sufficient for the application. The only downside is that when they are removed the hole to fill will probably be a bit bigger as the plastic collar has to be removed.

Worked perfectly
I used a couple of these to mount a guitar to a plaster wall. Just drilled a couple of pilot holes, then the 1/2" holes (I found a spade bit works really well through plaster), then inserted the plastic pieces with the metal bar on the end through the holes. Pulled the plastic pieces back to get the metal bar seated against the back of the wall, ran the little "cap" up against the wall, and broke off the excess plastic strips. Then I put the wooden guitar hanger against the wall and ran the two screws in. The screws are very heavy duty and I'm sure they'd hold many times the weight of my guitar. I didn't have any problems with cross threading at all. Tightened the screws and wha-la! Beautiful and rock-solid installation.

Great hollow-wall fasteners
These fasteners are fantastic, and by far the strongest hollow-wall faster I have found. The only issue I have had is when attempting to use them in a wall with closed-foam insulation, which did not allow the metal attachment piece to rotate parallel to the wall, but I had an issue when trying to use standard toggle hollow-wall fasteners. The difficulty with these particular fasteners arises in the installation, which requires the threaded portion of the fastener to be rotated parallel to the wall (then rotated to be perpendicular to accept the screw once fully inserted in the hollow-wall). I have not experienced this issue when installing the fastener with traditional fiberglass installation. I would defiantly not hesitate to purchase again.

One of my favorite anchors. I've used them from mounting medicine cabinets to shelves and TV's. They are not completely fool-proof (maybe lose 1-in-10 due to over tightening plastic), but better than most anchors.
