My son loves it and he is one of the best trumpet player in Union county North Carolina in high school. At the high school level this is a good buy for parents

This is a nice trumpet! Especially for a cheap horn! Our band instructor is very picky and doesn't hesitate to rip apart other horns in front of the entire band if they do not meet his expectations. He sent this horn listing to all the parents in the band. As a suggestion. It plays well, with a nice warm tone. It is not blatty or too harsh sounding. And is well balanced in the hands. And it is beautiful.

Bought for my son who is in his second year of band, he has not complained yet about it.

We have tried other "discount" trumpets for my son and they were junk. This one has a very nice feel and build quality and looks very cool. The case is very nice as well. (much better than the $50 trumpet case we just bought for my wife actually) Both my wife and son LOVE the two tone color of silver and gold. Very happy guy here!

Beautiful and wonderful case and accessories!

This trumpet has a great sound. Looks beautiful as well. You will not be disappointed in purchasing this product. Thanks. Two year update: This horn still looks and sounds beautiful. My son is first chair trumpet with this horn. His band director is not a fan of instruments not bought through the program the school uses. However, she made an exception for this one. If the band director approves, that should tell you something. Two years of playing and still going strong. At the beginning, we did have problems with valves sticking slightly. However, my child was not pressing down on the keys the correct way. Once we got his hand placement corrected, he had no issues whatsoever. You cannot put sideways pressure on a valve and expect it to move fluidly.

I had bought another lower cost Trumpet (Glory $118) for a beginner just before. While that one is OK for about $50 more this is a value and a better instrument. The Mendini instrument is solid. The valves work well. Sound is good. I had no issue playing across the range. The trumpet case is good. Plus the little extras: tuner, stand and value oil make it a excellent first instrument.

Suprised at the quality of the instrument, considering the price!! Great buy!!
