Quick replacement, exactly what I needed. I wouldn’t go aftermarket.

I work at a warehouse when my position requires to use a ceramic box cutter for 12 hours straight at a time. When I place these slice ceramic blades in my slice knife, it works wonders. When cutting tops off of boxes to be placed on shelves, it honestly cuts like butter. These blades are durable and keep their sharpness and last a long time! Absolutely impressed and happy with my purchase!

The little slice cutter is a fabulous tool to have on hand for opening all sorts of things at home (you know, like all those Amazon boxes you get?) without having to worry about accidentally cutting yourself. The blade is sharp enough to cut through almost anything—but it won’t cut you! Bonus: it has two sides, so I actually accidentally ordered my replacement pack early before opening the little gadget up and realizing I could turn the blade around and get double use out of it. It took 6 months for it to go dull—& considering that was through the holiday season with many boxes coming in and then having to be broken down for recycling, you can imagine the amount of use. Since it has a magnet in it, we keep it on the refrigerator for easy access, but out of reach of small fingers (lest they decide to open the drywall with it). It’s a fantastic product, one that I’m extremely happy to have discovered.

So you managed to actually wear down a slice ceramic blade? Well, I don't blame you - not only does Slice produce some innovative cutters, they produce the unique blade to go with it. They stay sharp longer than your metal so it's inevitable that is your first choice but now you have done it need to replace it - fortunately, Slice has your back. The Slice #10404 blade is the replacement blade for the majority of its box and pen cutter series of products. Compared the common metal blades, ceramic is more resistant to wear citing its hardiness and impervious to corrosion and electrical conductance. While the aforementioned might be better appreciated by chefs and electricians, its cutting durability is something anyone who needs to make definite cuts will appreciate. A sharp knife is a safe knife and not only will have you exert less force to make your cuts, the rounded tips significantly reduce puncture damage products or flesh. I really like these Slice blades. While corrosion resistance and electrical conductance do not apply to me, the hardiness of ceramic maintains its sharp edges longer than your average metal box cutting blade.

I was happy to find replacement blades at a reasonable price. I have had this Slice box cutter for years and years and I use it several times a week. The blades last forever, but do, at some point need to be reversed or replaced. This package of replacement blades at such a low price was a Godsend!

My husband and I love our little ceramic cutter, after moving and opening and tearing down boxes we decided to get some replacements. These are wonderful, they cut like butter!

Bought these to go with the box cutter. Really like ceramic blades. They stay sharper longer and cut EVERYTHING.

These blades do the work of steel blades and beyond AND they don’t cut fingers. It’s nice to have a box cutter around that I don’t have to worry about kids getting ahold of it.

I needed a box cutter for my job, and I decided to spend a little bit more and buy one of Slice's box cutters. I was extremely impressed with it and received complements from workers at my job about the strength of the blades. After having and using the blade that came with the box cutter for a year, I had to buy replacements. Knowing that the blades will help me do my work easier and safer than conventional metal blades gives me confidence to get the job done and to look good doing it.

Expensive but works pretty good
