Only once, have a used a different brand of beans to make chili and I sorely regretted it. When I make chili I make about 6 gallons worth and I give out to family and friends at it is a huge hit. The best and only beans I’ll use!

We love Brooks chili beans. We can't buy them locally, so I am thrilled to be able to get them on Amazon. These make the best chili and are not spicy at all. We love the Brooks brand and will continue to order these for our family for years!

Wal-Mart stopped carrying these in our town, so I was glad to find them on Amazon. My DIL makes the best chili with these beans, - 1-2 lbs. ground beef, one onion chopped, one small can of tomato sauce, one-half envelope of McCormicks chili seasoning, and two cans of the chili hot beans. May thin with a little water while simmering until flavors meld. My husband loves our DIL's chili, and she gave me her recipe. To lower the heat when cooking for others, I sometimes use one can of Brooks plain chili beans and one can of the hot. DIL now sometimes uses Brooks Spicy Hot Chili beans when she can find them.

We have used these beans exclusively for our spicy chili, but after moving to western NC we couldn't find them anywhere! Tried other brands, and frankly they couldn't cut the cheese. Didn't have the muster. These beans hold their firmness and don't get totally mushy. They are spicy and hot - just like spicy hot labeled beans should be - and we love that we finally found them on Amazon!

use these beans in my chili recipe. warning though they are hot and very spicy. I will try the mild bean next I am sure they will be as good as these. These hot and spicy chili beans are for the folk that loves the spicy, hot food. great product.

I have eaten this brand of Chili mix for so long I don't remember when the first time it was. Left the State where I could buy at the store and moved to Oregon City, OR and it is nowhere to be found. But thank you Amazon you came through for me. I don't use anything but this product and have never had anyone not go back for more. You can add any ingredients you like with it, just make sure to add lots of hamburger!😊

Here in Arizona you cannot get this brand. These were the only beans I used to make chili when I lived in Michigan. After 15 years I found them here. They aren't cheap but this case will last me. I hope the beans are as good as I remember. The label used to say "The secret is in the sauce" So we will see if they still give my chili that magic zing I have missed.

We used to live in St Louis, Mo which is where they sell these beans in the grocery stores. They are my mother's favorites and one of the items from there that she orders on line to have on hand. They are spicy, but not too spicy for most people and have a delicious flavor.

At first was nervous, because I didn't realize I ordered the hot and spicy. I grew up in the Midwest and Brooks were the only beans we used for homemade chili. In the Pacific Northwest I cannot get Brooks beans, so turned to Amazon, and had them in 2 days. Will definitely reorder, and order the hot and spicy. Really add to the flavor of the homemade chili

I have tried different chilli beans in my 60 years and there is only one brand I find suitable for what many have told me was the best chili they have ever eaten. Brooks Chili Hot Beans and other varieties of Brooks Chili Beans are the best in the world by far. Nothing comes close to Brooks, the secret is in the sauce. They are not available in Florida where I moved after living in Iowa/Illinois over 50 years. For years I had family bring them down when they visited. That is no longer necessary with Amazon shipping these gems at a reasonable price. I also could not find Brooks Beans in Montana or Idaho. It is time for Brooks to expand their market, the other brands wouldn't stand a chance.
