Works quickly

We’ve tried all the creams and even have prescription. This is by far the best one other than the $80 tube that our pediatrician prescribes. Works quickly, easy to put on and the smell isn’t overpowering. Usually starts to clear up the rash within a couple hours! I’ve thrown away all other brands and will use this with my second.

Only diaper cream that worked

My son has VERY sensitive skin and developed open wounds on his bottom at 2 weeks old from an allergic reaction to wipes (now we use paper towels and water). It was terrible. We tried several diaper creams, and this was the only one that helped his bottom heal. It's the only product we use now when he gets a diaper rash. It does smell like fish oil, but the results are worth the smell!

Really, no explanation is needed. Desitin max strength just outranks any other diaper rash cream on the market today. My little one has extremely sensitive skin and if there is an uptick in poops during the day she will almost surely end up with a rash. I use this with almost every single change and it really does work. Very rarely does she get a diaper rash.

A must have for diaper rashes

This stuff works! At the first sign of a diaper rash, clean the skin, dab it dry, and apply a thick coat of this. I don't know how the magic works, but it always works. By the next diaper change, the skin is clear again. Every single time, it's amazing. Even the blue one (lower percentage of zinc oxide) works really well, but this purple one is even better. This stuff lasts a long time too. Before this tube arrived, I've been using a left over tube from my older child on the baby, it's at least a couple of years old and probably expired, but worked just as well!

Have a horse with a pink nose? Use this!

A must have for horse owners with pink noses! My new horse has a pink nose and had a severe sunburn in just a week. Friend recommended I try Desitin and in 10 days his sunburn cleared up. I not put it on his nose 3-4 times a week to prevent sunburn and have had zero sunburns since! Strongly recommended!!!

Buy the purple desitin for when nothing else works!

This is not the product I use every single day. Purple Desitin, as the friend that recommended it calls it, is the "big guns" you pull out when baby gets a diaper rash that you just can't kick. For when rash just begins to show up i use boudreauxs. This is what you use When baby is on anabiotic's and has horrible diarrhea and nothing you do can keep those red patches at bay. It has a very strong smell to it but it works. I always use it when baby sick along with play in the bathtub or the baby pool without a diaper. Air, water, and purple Desitin gets rid of any rash my baby gets.

I still love this stuff even a decade after first using it. If I buy the cheap diapers in a pinch i always slather on the desitin to prevent a reaction on my minions butts. I also loved the honest company's all purpose ointment, that's a good one too. Coming from the mama of 5, with 4 of them being 2 yrs old and younger, this stuff works.

Effective and Affordable Diaper Rash Cream

We only use Desitin now. My little one has sensitive skin and seems to always have some type of diaper rash irritation. Beside prescription ointments, we use Desitin. Since bringing my child home from the hospital, we have tried many different diaper rash creams (Burt's Bees, Butt Paste, Medline Remedy) but keep coming back to Desitin because it works the best for him. We highly recommend this product!

God Bless Desitin and whoever invented this product! We use this on our 13 year old handicapped child. She is clearly still in a diaper/briefs and there is no skin breakdown! Ever! We use ALOT of this product during a diaper change! My daughter does not skimp when using this thicker Desitin. But I feel ever pleased that I don't have to worry about diaper rash or skin breakdown. It is not cheap to keep this always in stock. But it does what you need it to do! Period!! One less worry in life..

Stuff works!

Arrived fast and worked great. My daughter is teething terrible and suffering through a bad case of diaper rash. Tried my essential oils but they weren't doing the trick so I tried an organic cream and it made it worse. A few diaper changes with desitin and her rash healed right up.
