These work perfectly! I used them for elephant baby booties that I crocheted. I can’t wait to crochet some amigurumi so I can use more of the eyes!! They were a tad hard to pop together but that’s how it should be, IMO, to make them great SAFETY eyes.

Perfect for projects

If you're looking for some safety eyes to make amigurumi, these are great. The price is amazing considering I just spent $10 at Joanne's for only 10 sets of eyes. They're easy to use and look great. The backs of them are long, which is typical. Just keep that in mind when making tiny amigurumi.

Best safety eyes

I think the Darice eyes are the best! I use them for my amigurumi crochet figures. They take some strong finger power to put the backs on (hence the 3 star for easy to assemble) BUT, I wouldn't want it any other way because I know the backs are very securely attached.

Exactly like the eyes I buy in tiny packs at the craft store. Perfect for small amigurumi. Agreed with an earlier review to score the washer slightly with an exacto blade to help ease snapping it onto the eye post.

Arrived a few days late, but I am guessing it was due to the holiday (thanksgiving). So much cheaper than in the craft stores. The product works fine. Saw some reviews saying these eyes were difficult to attach. All safety eyes take a bit of work to attach. These are no exception. I didn't have any problems. Here's what I did: I placed the eyes in my crochet piece. Turn my piece so the eyes are pupil down on a hard flat surface. I put the washer on and used my thumbs to press down hard on both sides of the washer at once. It helps if your thumb nails cut super short, just above the quick. The washer slowly snaps down the ridges on the back of the eye and is secured in place. Viola!

These were perfect for what I needed them for. They look wonderful on the crochet stuffed animals I make. I do agree with some of the other reviewers that the backs are difficult to get on, but I prefer it that way instead of being to easy. I'm assured that they are safe and will not come off that way. The eyes look shiny and immediately made my mini cupcake look like a cute little character. Definitely much easier than stitching the eyes!

Just Right <3

These 6mm craft eyes are perfect for amigurumi crochet animals. Receiving 50 pairs at once means I can crochet many amigurumi before needing to order more. Very reasonable price for the product. The backings are a little difficult to attach, but that is because they are so small. I rest the eye on a tabletop and use the back end of a disposable chopstick to push the backing on. The backing is very secure, making these craft eyes safe for toys for small children.

Cute eyes for your small projects

These are exactly what I was looking for......it is difficult to put the washer on the back, but found using a metal washer to push it down helped a lot. They are much cuter than buttons or googly eyes.
