Nephew loves it. There are a surprising number of Elmos with hard eyes, some have even appeared brittle and have pictures of them shattering as they break. These eyes are soft, nothing on the plush for a child to hurt themselves with. It's quite chunky compared to how long and thin Elmo is, and the 'fur' isn't like the thin shag carpet Elmo has, but it looks exactly like the picture and I imagine the thicker limbs are cozier for a kid to hug and snuggle.

Expected it to be bigger!

Wish this was a little bigger, but our daughter 14 months when she received it, loved her Elmo. It was delivered in an envelope and I received the notice from amazon with the photo showing it had Ben delivered. Went to check my front door and it was gone, I was so upset. Contacted amazon, while on hold, I started to drive, and realized the wind had blown it away from our doorstep. It is light. Great build quality, and looks great.

VERY SMALL BUT CUTE, SOFT ELMO

This is a cute, soft Elmo and is the right small size for a "take-along". Not sure if my grandson was very impressed with it, however, since most of his toys talk, squawk, sing or make some kind of noise. He seemed a bit confused as to how to make this Elmo talk. Perhaps he will just end up using it to cuddle for nap time. It was well packaged and arrived on time undamaged. I am happy with my purchase.

Attention Getter!

Big visible eyes, bright red and it is Elmo! Our baby adores this toy! Smiles whenever he sees it and loves to take it along for the adventures.

This Elmo is great! He is super soft

My 9 month old loves Sesame Street, and we purchased this little guy as something to bring on a recent plane ride across the country. This Elmo is great! He is super soft, and shed a little at first, but we washed him once and I haven't seen any more red fuzzies. This is a perfect size for a little one, probably too small for 4+. We now keep him in the car, sometimes behind her little mirror to "keep an eye on her".

Very soft. Smaller than I thought but not really actually that small. Son loves it. I do think it was a little over priced though. All soft. No hard plastic. Eyes are just harder cloth material but wouldn’t hurt a baby or toddler. Only if you literally hit a baby hard with, them it might hurt. I don’t suggest that. With that being said, my two year old loves this doll. Picture: The doll compared to my size 8.5 foot. I would price this at $8 - $10 dollars.

My daughters best friend

This is my 2YO daughters best friend. He is the perfect take-along size, very high quality well proportioned doll. He is able to sit up, which is perfect as my daughter demands him to sit with her at every meal, and he is the perfect size to tuck under her tiny little arm at bedtime. My child had never taken to any sort of "lovie" or security blanket/stuffed animal until Elmo came along when she was around 18mo. -he has been a game changer. Another plus, he's machine washable, and with a little brushing looks good as new after!

After reading the reviews of soooo many different plush Elmo’s, this was the one we decided to go with. So glad we did!!! We got it 6 months ago for our 1 year old and she absolutely loves it. It’s still in great shape, it washes well and I love the that the whole thing is plush. We were concerned about getting a fake after reading some reviews but we got a genuine Gund and couldn’t be happier with the purchase!

We bought a second one!

My daughter loves this Elmo soooo much that we bought a second one as a "back-up". Elmo goes everywhere with us, and so far he has held up to a few washes in the washing machine. I can't say how many washes he will tolerate, and I can say he's not quite as soft as when he first arrived, but that happened before the first wash. I love that his eyes are not hard plastic like some other versions of Elmo, and although he was a little smaller than I was hoping for, he is kind of the perfect size.

Elmo Loves DIY!

My husband and I were asked to host our grandson’s first birthday. Since our little boy loves Elmo, we decided to use Elmo and Sesame Street decorations. I wanted to get or make something a little more personal for the occasion and decided to make a “birthday wreath” using the furry red Muppet monster as the focus of the decoration. I went with basic primary colors for the wreath and selected the 12 inch Elmo to “hang out” on the wreath (see picture). When I received my product, I was delighted that he had long legs that dangled just right from the wreath. The toy was very soft and bendable which helped because I had to attach it to the wreath. The vivid red color went perfectly with the colors selected for the wreath. Of course the best part was giving Elmo to our grandson who immediately smiled and hugged it. His parents say that he keeps it near him and it goes everywhere with him. It has been awhile since I have bought toys for small children but I could tell that this was made of quality material. I felt it was safe for my grandson because the mouth, eyes and nose were not hard plastic. They were made with fabric and stuffed. I would definitely buy this again – as a toy or a DIY project!!!!
