works as expected. i just did the perimeter of the kitchen, not the center of the room. since you are basically at the sink, stove or on the other side doing laundry. I just wan't enough heat to take the chill of when I come out in bare feet. This is a beach house application, with the house on pilings. so the cold air flows under the floors. I preset it for 65F , just enough to make it comfortable.

So easy. Be sure to put enough thin set over this before laying tile to avoid bulging under tiles. Easy install and high bang for your buck when laying tile floors. Install: directly in front of sinks, in front of toilet, where you step out of shower/bath, and the pathways you most frequently walk.

Love these mats. I have 3 in my house now and it has made a world of difference in my kitchen and front hallway. My downstairs is not as cold anymore and it saves me energy by not running the HVAC as much.

I am a licensed contractor in Michigan. I bought his unit for my own bathroom and love it! Thermostat is difficult to program but this is a very good product. I am ordering another unit to install in a customers home and will install in future custom baths for my customers:)
