Buy these
I was having to clean my kids humidifiers at least once a week, if not more frequently, and the mold was continuing to be a problem but these sticks really work!! No odor or any signs of mold, mildew or hard water deposits. I still clean the humidifier occasionally but these drastically improved it!!

Good to reduce bacterial buildup
These will really help reduce the frequency of needing to change water and clean the insides out. One per humidifier. If you don't use the humidifier on rainy or humid days you can get a whole winter season out of one of these sticks. They are not really affected either way by minerals in the water.

It works!!!
There are so many products on the market I was skeptical about this one. I am very happy. It keeps my Vicks humidifier cleaner than when I wasn't using it. I still have to clean the humidifier, but I can go two weeks with this instead of every other week.

These are easy to use
These are easy to use. You simply drop one (or two) in your water tank for your humidifier, depending on the size of your tank, and that's it. It seems to work and extend the life of the filter by reducing bacteria in the water. I would purchase this again

keeps humidifiers clean and clear
Kept my humidifiers clean and clear for the season; no bio film or other gunk where the water touches but still had to clean a bit where the mist exits the humidifier. These things are a huge timesaver when the equipment is run constantly over cold dry winters. Well worth the few bucks so the only thing I had to keep up with is topping off water tanks. Will buy again next season.

Excellent Use in Humidifiers
We use these aqua sticks in our cool mist humidifiers that we have to run year round. They greatly reduce the time between having to clean the humidifiers. They eliminate the particles that start to collect and the inside of the tank does not turn yellow or brown. As described, they do last several months and while they may be a little more costly, they are worth every penny. You can easily tell when they are coming to the end of their life because the pellets inside the sticks will turn very dark. Saves a lot of cleaning time! And they will fit every table top humidifier, unlike some of the similar products that are advertised.

Feisty little buggers that really help keep the sediment from water down.
Feisty little buggers that really help keep the sediment from water down. I've been using these for years and sometimes forget that I need to change them out every so often. Other than that, these work well if you use tap water for your humifidiers. I use distilled water and these little pellets still do a good job in cutting down the gunk.

Month in and seem to be doing what they should.
Last season I used the Stadler Water Cube which worked great. Everyone seems to be sold out of those so I decided to try these. So far so good! We have two of those big whole house humidifiers that hold 3 gallons each and placed two of these in each one. Seems to be doing the job :)

Easy to use, works great!
I love these! Helps filter my son's humidifier and all you have to do is drop it in there. It lasts for up to 45 days for just one stick! Good price for what you get!

Helps extend period between cleaning
This product uses silver as the active ingredient to keep microbes at bay. Other reviewers have concerns about the "pesticide" label of the product and the EPA does consider silver a pesticide. I searched the EPA registration number for this product (clearly listed on the package) 82260-1 to find the details. Silver is an element that has antimicrobial properties but it isn't a chemical that will leech into the water no more than wearing a silver ring and washing your hands. Our humidifiers have been running well every night for the last 5 months after dropping one capsule into the water tank. We clean the humidifier about once a month with vinegar and it stays pretty clean in between with this product.
