This was the second time to replace this item on my Chevy 2010 Equinox, the Dorman unit only lasted one year. I really had no troubles at all with it, got it all done and everything work just fine. An important point is the Chevy re-calibration reset / procedure to insure unit function. After replacement: 1. Turn key off. 2. Pull HVAC fuse out for one minute. 3. Reinstall fuse. 4. Turn the SUV back on and touch nothing ---> HVAC controls, for one minute for the reset. Thanks again!

Excellent replacement part! Fit my 2010 Chevy Equinox perfectly and I have heat again!!! I've had my mechanic replace this part 2 times prior in the last 3 years and was sick of shelling out hundreds on the repair. I looked into what it would take to fix it myself and was surprised to see it's a fairly simple repair. My tips: remove the passenger kick-plate (two bolts hold it up) for better access and leverage. The hardest part is removing the furthest screw on the right of the actuator but it gets exponentially easier once you can reach through where the kick-plate is. Also, make sure to remove the HVAC fuse for more than 10 seconds after installing the new actuator to properly align it. This is mandatory for the repair to work!

Got for wife’s car. Part is behind glove box. Works good.

only took me ten minutes to install and works great. just in time before it got cold

Perfect fit at a much cheaper cost and finally fixed that god awful clicking sound in about 20 minutes.

Was very difficult to change but worked perfectly. Found some good tips on GM forum on how to replace. Wish I would’ve gotten it months ago.

Perfect fit. Heat works again!!

Great fit works like new now
