GREAT STEM PRODUCT
A must buy with the AMSCOPE-KIDS M30-ABS-KT2-W Microscope Kit. This set of prepared slides has tons of weird, cool, rare, and gross things that kids are not able to get their hands on, on their own. Inspire and introduce them to the cellular world without having mom and dad having to procure the materials for these slides (when you see the list, you will know what I mean). Its really fun seeing the kids get excited about each slide

Perfect for Club Science at home!
These microscope slides are great for my 6 year old science obsessed son! They have the description on them and then list all of the items: some favorites are dog cardiac muscle, and rabbit spinal cord (things we could have never explored under the microscope at home without the help of these pre-made slides. The complete list of included slides is noted in the product description and was 100% accurate. I ended up writing numbers on the slides that corresponded to the key to help make sure we were putting them in the proper slots. We have a decent quality kid microscope and they worked well. I like using these pre-made slides rather than the limited number of slides we can create at home. This would be a great addition to any homeschool co-op or science lab. The case is unfinished wood with a little clasp that secures it. I would not recommend transporting them very much as some of the slides have nicks in the sides from bouncing around in the case because they are in there close and tight.

Could not be happier hearing the excitement in her voice
I bought this with the Geo safari microscope for my 7 years old granddaughter so we can look at stuff together when she come to my house. She insisted on taking in it home so she can make her own slides. Could not be happier hearing the excitement in her voice. Asked me a million questions about every slide and we had a long discussion about plants, animals, bacteria, germs, etc it was really great. I hoped to peek her interest instead it opened the flood gates,

Loads of Fun!
I read some negative things about the wooden case that houses these slides, but I took the chance and bought this anyway., taking into mind the number of positive reviews. I'm pleased to say I had no problems with it. It's a pretty nice case and holds the slides securely in place. I didn't find any difficulty with opening or closing the case. The set is nice and clean, and offers a good variety of 25 slides...nothing chipped or broken. My slide set arrived in excellent condition and on time. The photo is of the pine leaf slide included in this set using the AmScope 40X-100X dual light glass lens metal-body student microscope for $79.

LOVE this slide set
LOVE this slide set. Very well put together, my children(3, 5, 7, 9) have had no problems finding the object under a microscope. The set comes in a very nice wood box, with a label sheet, which you really only need if you want to keep them in that order in the box. Each individual slide is labeled with the object to be observed. Great price for a starting set. As a homeschooling family, we have used this set quite frequently already.

Incredible set of quality slides! Great price!
These slides are AWESOME! Exactly as described! I love that not only is each slide labeled with what it is, there is a list, as seen in the product picture. The quality of the slides is incredible! I have been using these with my kids in our science class. I am super pleased with these slides. The case is also very good quality. The wood is not balsa wood, it is quality wood. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to help teach their students/kids some of the intricacies of plants and blood and plants! The hinges are good quality and the clasp that keeps the box closed is also good quality. The case also have numbers underneath each slide that corresponds to the listing on the printout. I would highly recommend this slide set to anyone who is interested in science!

Great quality specimens
This has been my 8 year old daughter's prized possession for awhile now. She has to show her neighbor friends what a dog stomach or a pig esophagus looks like when they come over (I guess she's that kid). The labels have led to a lot of questions from her about what things are, such as an esophagus, testes, anthers, etc. These are things she wouldn't have learned as well just reading from a book but having a real specimen to see up close sinks the lesson. All of the specimens are of good-quality and clear, dyed well, and interesting. There are a few blank slides which she has used to trap a chicken feather, pond water, and a piece of her own hair to look at. A great gift for a little scientist!

Works pretty good.
I needed new slides to view some blood samples I took. My cousin has been acting really weird, wearing all black, dyed his hair black, wears black lipstick and only goes out at night. I heard vampires don't got any red blood cells so I took a sample of his blood while he was sleeping all day. I used this microscope and didn't see any red blood cells so I'm pretty sure he's a vampire. I told my parents and they don't believe me but I've been watching vampire movies so I know what to do. I just need to find some silver bullets.

Packed in a sturdy wooden box with a label of all slides included
This box of slides is ideal for the aspiring biologist as well as any science hobbiest. Packed in a sturdy wooden box with a label of all slides included, they remain safe and organized. The mounting and cover slips of all my specimens were well prepared. The collection contains a nice cross section of both plant and animal tissue. Cell structure and optimal staining techniques clearly enhance the study potential of this slide series.

Great slides
I am a college professor and have used slides similar to these many times in anatomy and physiology lab. I got these for my son's 4th grade classroom and am pleased. The quality is just as good as the ones the university purchases. The slide box is wooden and the slides fit inside perfectly. None were broken during shipment. The quality of microscope used will make a big difference in what one can observe from the slides. One with a100x objective and immersion oil is preferred but a 40x objective will also work, just with a less magnified and detailed image.
