I love these things! But you have to be careful. First, they have a strange smell, so you have to wash them thoroughly in cold water when you are going to use them, then boil them for 2 minutes and dry them in a pan. A lot of work, and I still wonder after all that water and boiling if it retains any nutritional value. One bag is like for one portion if you are a hungry person. My husband has colitis, and didn't go well with him at all. But it's very digestible, full of fiber. So if you are in a low cal diet and need fiber this will be your product. It fill you real good and it takes the flavor of whatever you put in it, like tofu.

A lot of people have an issue with the texture of these, but I think they're expecting something that this is not. This isn't a substitute for Italian-style pasta like fettuccini and angel hair spaghetti; when these words are used for these noodles, it's about how they're shaped. They feel and taste different from that. These noodles only recently started being marketed as a diet food, but they've been used in certain Japanese regions for a very long time. With that in mind, instead of trying to make fettuccini alfredo with this stuff, try making some Asian-styled dishes, like stir-fry or pho. It's a much better experience. Personally, I'm a big fan of pairing these with stir-fry. Also, be sure to rinse them thoroughly to get rid of the initial smell (shouldn't take more than a minute) and heat them in a pan (don't add anything, i.e. oil) until they squeak against it when you move them around. Then add them to your Asian dish of choice.

I'm pretty skeptical about products like this but as I am cutting way back on carbs I thought I'd give them a try. In short I was pleasantly surprised. Key points: Basically flavorless so it's really about texture and getting that noodle "mouth feel". I added them to some leftover Chinese (see photo) that I heated on the stove and they were perfect. They smell terrible (like fish that's getting a bit too old) right out of the package. This is addressed on the cooking instructions and the smell goes away after a quick rinse and boil. Some of the noodles are laughably long. Like 2-3 feet.

As a diabetic who likes to eat spaghetti, I searched for a substitute like whole wheat and some of the others that claim to not affecct blood sugar, but none of them worked. Then I read about shirataki noodles. Eating shirataki is also good for weight loss I found. As to consistency and taste, the trick is to rinse thoroughly, squeeze out most of the water with paper towels, then dry fry the noodles for five minutes. Add spaghetti sauce and other ingredients like cooked chicken, shrimp, turkey sausage, etc. to the pan and heat another couple of minutes.

These are fantastic for the keto diet. Pasta is a vice of my roommate's and ramen is mine. So, I told him that if he found me a solution for my ramen cravings, I would find him a pasta he can make regularly without risk of cheating on the diet. These worked better than we thought. The texture is very close to aldente pasta and the taste, though a little bland, adapts well to different dishes. FYI, the ramen was delicious. A couple tips... 1. It says to rinse thoroughly. Do just that. We didn't pay attention the first time and were left with an odd taste and funky smell. 2. Boil it for 5-8 minutes before drying it off in a pan, instead of the 2 minutes on the instructions. On a separate note, one of the packs I ordered had a small puncture and leaked all over the box. I know this item is not eligible for return, but Amazon customer service was very helpful with this.

Yummy! This is a great alternative to a low carb diet. We found the Angel hair Pasta to be a tab rubbery. But nothing you can't overlook, The spinach noodles do have the spibach taste to them albeit slight We like the Ziti noodles the best. They seem to taste the best, have the least "rubbery" consistency, and hold the most sauce because of the open centers. We recommend these noodles to anyone, low carb diet or not.

I really thought I was gonna hate these but for zero calories & zero carbs, I was willing to try it out. I actually like them!! Don’t do a side by side taste test with real noodles. These are NOT real noodles so don’t expect it to be similar. But Prepare them correctly and the texture you crave and the full feeling you want is there. I’ve made pad thai, spaghetti, chicken & rice... all good! Made them for my Dad since he’s trying to minimize his carb intake and he enjoyed them too.

I am not sure how long Miracle Noodles have been around, I discovered them sort of by accident. I am about 8 to 10 years late to the low carb lifestyle but I figured any diet that allows me to eat meats and cheeses can't be too terrible. All was fine until I started missing my old carb friend...pasta. IT was a crippling blow to my diet as I literally went into anxiety mode everytime I saw pasta in a tv show, commercial, movie, read about it...hell, I almost had a breakdown while watching "Lady and the Tramp". Almost as a joke I Googled "zero carb pasta" just to laugh at myself but something unexpected happened. No, Google did not grow a hand and smack me for being stupid, it actually returned the Miracle Noodle page in the results. I was skeptical...who wouldn't be? It is simply not possible to get a real pasta experience from a plant. Or so I thought! On a whim and without doing a terrible amount of research I ordered a ten pack of angel hair noodles. 70 glorious ounces of zero carb/zero calorie noodly goodness. For the record, the following is true: They stink. Yes, there is an odor when you open the package due to fermenting, but once the noodles are washed and boiled the smell is gone and there is no foul taste associated with the smell. They are flavorless. Yes, they don't have a starchy flavor so common in pasta and noodles because they are not made from starch. They are simply plant fiber. They have a rubbery texture. Sort of, but if you follow the instructions this is minimized and the end result is on par with a toothsome al dente pasta. It is not like chewing on rubber bands. The noodles do take on the flavor of whatever you cook them in, sort of similar to the way tofu operates. Because of this, I recommend not using the noodles as you would spaghetti. If you boil your noodles and cover them in pasta sauce you are setting yourself up for disappointment, and the makers of the product know this, hence they give you a recipie booklet to take full advantage of the power of the noodle. I usually make a spicy stir fry in szechuan sauce and add the noodles at the last moments and allow the noodles to absorb the peppery sauce. The entirte dish has only 4 grams of carbs and is filling. Let's not forget that the noodles are a great source of fiber! Do not go into the order process expecting spaghetti or egg noodles. But if you are on low carb, gluten free, or simply trying to change your eating habits then Miracles Noodles are simply that, a miracle. Thank you Miracle Noodles for allowing me to enjoy my food once again.

Used these to make "macaroni salad". Turned out-just like -macaroni salad! I purchase another brand locally that is spaghetti shaped. They are refrigerated. This brand isn't refrigerated and the fishy like smell (I know it's not fish it's lime)is stronger.. Rinse really well. then dry in hot skillet for a minute! Can't wait to try as Mac and cheese...this type of noodles make great pasta substitutes if you can't have white flour type foods! Seem a little pricey, but worth it to me to have occasional "pasta" dishes! UPDATE JULY 2016- just made Mac n Cheese with these. I haven't had Mac n cheese for months! I did the pre rinse, dry skillet to dry them and added very small amount of butter, dry cheese powder, small amount of half n half and one slice of Colby cheese. Let it melt in skillet then put it into toaster oven and broiled and slightly browned the cheese. OMG! Was it good!

These really are better than they smell! I've been on Keto since May of 2018. One of my favorite things is pasta, but with carbs and the amount of time it takes to make them, I haven't done it. Then I came across these little wonders. I had tried them before a long time ago and forgot they existed. So I tried them again and remembered I had loved them. Two facts about me: I'm not adventurous when it comes to food and I'm a REALLY picky eater (I'm owning it!). So, for me to say buy these is a big deal. Here's the only caution I give: don't smell them until you have rinsed them. They're packaged in a liquid that smells awful. If you didn't pay attention to that statement and smelled them anyways and are now wondering what you got yourself into... rejoice! Once you rinse them for 20 to 30 seconds (Note: I like to go a minute or two), that smell will go away. Personally, I don't think these taste like anything, but they help me feel full and can absorb the taste of other things. I love top ramen (and no, I'm not still a college student). Can't really have that on Keto, so I made my own recipe. Take the Angel hair pasta kind, add to chicken broth with a bouillon cube and you have top ramen!
