Filter kit is really a good value at this price. The box states made in USA as does the filter can itself. Installation is straight forward. The long section of pipe that is included with this kit was way too long for my application. I didn’t want my filter hanging 10” away from the pump. This creates a lot of leverage and I can see the cast pump being damaged accidentally with that much leverage so I used a short piece of pipe I had laying around to get it mounted closer. If I had to go to the store I would have bought one about twice as long but this was laying around in a bin at the shop so I used it. All in all I am very happy with the fill rite pump and filter set up. I got the pump on amazon warehouse for $125 so I’m at around $160 for pump and filter. Not bad for something that should easily last a lifetime. It’s light years ahead of my old cheap made in China pump that leaked everywhere.

Mine came with a black top, not red, but it really doesn't matter. Its a 1" in and out, so if you're looking to use it on a 3/4" pump and hose, just get the fittings. I've ran one of these on a 3/4" pump with diesel for 2 years with no issue. I like that its clear so I have a visual reminder to change the filter when the bowl and filter start to look "gross". Also, when I change the filter I clean the bowl well with a degreaser to get rid of the discoloration the fuel causes and it looks good as new. Pay attention to the fittings you get to attach this, my husband didn't the first go-around and the fittings rusted within a week and I found rust particles accumulating at the bottom of the bowl. Make sure you get stainless steel or Iron fittings that can handle the fuel/liquid you are pumping.

Used this on my Fil-Rite 55-gallon diesel hand crank fuel delivery system. Well made and easy installation.

This did not come like it shows in the picture. It came with a standard screwed 90 degree ell not a street 90 like it shows in the picture. The instructions shows using the shoulder nipple, the 90, the 6" nipple and the filter adapter. When I put this all together it just seemed to long with a lot of weight hanging out there. I used 2 shoulder nipples and kept the fitter closer to the pump and it works great.

Great Quality and a great price here I've been using it over 3 years.

It does what its supposed to. I did have some flow restrictions after putting it on, but it was cold out and there's probably.some water in my tank. I may be switching over to the clear bottom style draining filters 8n the future because of this

This filter is 1"-12 threads. It is not 3/4" threads as listed. Good Filter other than the mixed up thread sizes. 1"-12 unf is the standard size for these filters. I bought one just to see if it was the correct size and it is. The info provided in the questions section saying this filter has 3/4" threads is not correct.

Put this on a new to us bulk diesel tank. The pump set up didn't have a filter on it before and we won't take that chance. This kit has a couple pipe fittings that is a good start but if the setup is like mine, you will need some more fittings to make it all work.

Particulate filters on gas transfer tanks. It is so refreshing to work with parts that are professionally designed and built precision tough., Thank You

I bought this filter and housing and find that it works very well for my Fill-Rite fuel pump. Very pleased!
