If I could give this 10 stars I would, just did my hair for the first time with this. I have a bob cut and my arm got so sore holding the blow dryer and my round brush. This makes it so easy now, I use my blow dryer to get my hair kind of dry and then I used this, wow! I love how this works.

Let's face it. It's near impossible to get a salon blow-out look at home. Your arms get tired and trying to manage a brush and blowdryer is a feat in it of itself. I thought I would give this brush a try - sounded good to me. Well, it's not just good, it's great! I love this brush! I actually like the way my hair turns out with this styler better than what I get at the salon - seriously. I love my hairdresser and she does a great job but I have actually had more compliments on my hair when I do it myself with this tool. I will probably get two more to give to my daughters as well - that's how much I love it. I almost purchased another brand on-line but it was closer to a hundred dollars thinking the more you pay the better it is. Glad I didn't because this one is great and you can't beat the price!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE I got tired of trying to do a professional blowout on myself using my hair dryer with a regular round bush. My hair always came out frizzy, burnt, and just dead. After searching for a hot air brush I came upon the John Frieda brand and was amazed by the reviews, so I decided to give it a try. When the product finally arrived I was so happy! I tried it right away. I recommend letting your hair air dry first and foremost. If you're like me and it takes your roots forever to dry then go ahead and use your regular hair dryer with the flat nozzle thingy to dry your scalp first and just let it air dry. I was extremely happy with how easy it is to use. A little tip to all you ladies having trouble achieving volume, waves, etc. it all depends on how your hair is cut and don't forget to divide your hair in sections! I had long hair and was having trouble getting volume.I asked my hair dresser to give me a cut with lots of layers and volume and once I blow dry it I am always pleased with the results. At times I even do the Kate Middleton blowout! I even attached a picture of my every day hair using the hot brush. I even took it with me to Mexico this May only to sell it to my aunt because she was just as amazed as I was.

I am no professional hair stylist, nor do I have time to do my hair everyday (mommy of 2) but I must say this blow dryer curling brush makes getting ready so much easier. It's fairly simple to use. As other reviews I came across, the cooling button should be separated from the heating button to make it a little easier to switch hot from cold, but other than that I've had no issues with using this wonderful tool. I like my hair to have a lot of volume (I have thin hair) and my layers to show (please excuse my dead ends) so this look is easy to achieve. I just sectioned my hair in small pieces, used this tool from my roots to the tip, then from the tip curled up (inwards) and rolled the brush around and out to keep the curl. Added a lot of volume and a nice wave to the tips. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice easy blowout! I also used John Frieda Volumizing spray to obtain this look!

I am not a paid person who writes reviews. In fact I usually don't write them at all. But let me start out by saying holy crap! This is amazing, not only was it so easy and fast... I have a salon blow out that actually looks great-- and never went to the salon! So I can't so my hair at all ever. The best I do is flat iron or messy bun MmKay? But I'm obsessed when I go to the salon it looks great for two days and then bam I'm crying cause I can't get my hair pretty like she did it and now I hate it and myself. Sound familiar? Well I'm living proof this is amazing and it truly works, I won't lie I was hesitant because this looks and sound like crap/ plus too good to be true. IT's not!!! Happy buying - I'm buying another for my mom for Xmas how awesome! I will post pictures

I purchased this to help style my fine hair currently cut in a very short, choppy bob. The 1 1/2 inch is ideal for providing fullness, enhancing natural waves and smoothing any frizzies - I find that it works well on hair that's almost dry and also does great on dry hair that needs to be spruced up with the help of a little bit of styling product. It takes me no more than 5 minutes to accomplish a polished look...and I am usually a complete flop in doing anything with my hair! It seems gentle on my hair and does not tangle - I'm ordering the 1" version for days when I want some actual curl just for fun.

OMG this is the BEST HAIR TOOL for haircut with layers!! I recently got a haircut (3 layers in the back & 2 in the front) because i loved how it looked on others. When I tried to style it at home with a regular blow dryer and round brush i couldn't do it like the my hairstylist did it, it came out flat and straight, then i tried a Conair round brush dryer similar to this one, same frustration no results and it pulled on my hair causing breakage. I was frustrated, regretting getting this new haircut i had never tried before. I couldn't style it, it looked horrible and then i came across this AMAZING JOHN FRIEDA HOT AIR BRUSH, i read the reviews and thought i'll give it a try. I am SOOOOO GLAD i did. THIS PRODUCT IS TRULY EVERYTHING!!! It is LIGHT WEIGHT makes it very easy to hold, the heat temperature on high is perfect (first i thought it wasn't hot enough, but it's perfect to style hair without causing heat damage), THE BRISTLES are soft, hair slides through, does not pull on hair, no breakage at all. The feature that i LOVE is that it HAS A COOL SETTING to let curls cool down before releasing them (NO NEED TO USE HOT ROLLERS). This hot air brush is so great that I had to purchase one for mom as soon as i was done using it. CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS HAIR TOOL . I never bother leaving a product review but i just had to share my experience. How I use it: I use the high setting on the roots all the way down to the ends, I rolled up the ends and leave it there for about 20 secs (high setting) and then I put the cool setting on for about 10 secs, then i start unrolling the brush and gently remove it to reveal bouncy & natural looking curls. SIMPLY AMAZING!!! PICTURES SHOW RESULTS OF MY HAIR USING ONLY THIS HAIR TOOL ** <3

I *love* this brush! It dries and curves the ends of my long hair exactly how I wanted for a natural, healthy look & feel. My hair never tangles in the bristles, although it *does* sometimes get caught where the darker plastic meets the lighter color plastic (see pic). It's relatively easy to clean. However, I wish the plastic on the top end was a little thicker or perhaps there was a little knob to hold, as I tend to use both hands to twist, and the top can get VERY hot. Also, sometimes as I twist, the cord can flop in my way, despite its swivel feature. Lastly, (and this is really petty), the slider setting would make more sense if it were in the order of "off", "cool", "low", "high". I tend to slide it all the way up for "high", when that's actually to slot for "cool".

First of all, just for the record: this is not a magical marvel of modern technology that will do the job of a professional hair stylist. Just saying, because for some reason that's what I expected after reading all the great reviews. More below. Now: Yes, I do love this brush. It's not too heavy to use on a daily basis, it feels solid and I'd be surprised if it didn't last for years. My hair is lightly layered, naturally wavy/straight, and it tends to lack volume by the roots, but gets frizzy at the ends. You know, like a lamp shade. For the past few years I've been on and off trying to work out round brush + hairdryer routine, but it just doesn't work in my hands (when one part of hair is ready, the hairdryer blows on the rest of the hair and everything ends up messy and frizzy again. And I get impatient before I'm done). Eventually, I would end up using hair straightener to smooth out my hair, and it would just be flat and boring (and after a couple hours - yes, you know it! - frizzy). On a daily basis, I don't have patience for dividing my hair in tens of sections, so what you see in the pictures is the result after diving my hair in three sections (lower, middle, and top) and two sides (left and right). It took me probably ten minutes to get it all done. The result: no frizziness, an ok volume (let's be honest, it's not red carpet, hollywood-star hairstyle) and a nice wavy look that lasts all day long. DISCLOSURE: I'm sure the red carpet, hollywood-star look is possible to achieve with this brush, but it DOES require skills and experience, and the right haircut. For now, I'm happy with what I have and I definitely recommend getting this brush if you struggle with similar hair problems as I do. Would I buy it again if I went back it time and could make the decision again? Yup. Yes, I would.
