This is no joke, it actually works!!
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I applied this on both knees for my moderate arthritis and it actually works! My right knee is worse, so I wondered if this stuff works. The mint smell only lasts under 10 mins and it goes away. Biofreeze went on very easily and surprisingly lasted for several hours. I expected it to last 4 hrs at best. My knees felt normal!! This stuff is not cheap, but I definitely will buy this again!!

Price was right. WORKS GREAT
I have been using the stuff for a while. It’s very easy to go on. It works. Beats you having to use your hands to rub in icy hot. Also the most important part was this stuff is $27 in some stores like Shoprite I don’t even know how much it would be inside CVS. The stuff is unbelievably expensive I can never buy there it was given to me from my orthopedist along time ago for free. But once it started taking on a life of its own being a really good product they didn’t give it away anymore. So I love the fact that it’s only $10. But it works. And it lasts a long time

Helpful and Convenient
I tried BioFreeze gel on my aches after finding a sample packet in the first aid kit at work one day. It is like a menthol feeling and helps distract from the pain by giving a cooling feeling to the area. I was able to focus better on my work after applying. I did find that the gel was messy to apply, as it is green in color and it is necessary to wash hands afterwards. I had to apply in the restroom, in private, to reach my back properly and do a good job, plus I wanted to wash up afterwards. When I went online to see if I could buy some, I found this roll-on version, which is perfect! No mess to worry about. Just roll it onto the area and get back to what you were doing. I brought this with me on a trip to my in-laws recently and offered it to my mother-in-law, who was suffering with some foot pain before surgery the next day. She said it was very helpful, so I let her keep it and got myself some more. I was glad she could use something that did not add to her medications or side effects. This is a safe and simple way to manage certain kinds of pain. I am also sensitive to many medications and would prefer to avoid adding to the list whenever possible. This helps me manage and I am grateful.

I was first recommended Biofreeze by a friend after I ran a very intense mile in P.E. My muscles were screaming in unbearable pain and I was searching for something that could ease my agony. After gently rolling on Biofreeze, I was immediately relieved of my soreness and cramps, although I certainly was not cured completely. My mom purchased a Biofreeze roll-on for myself and I soon found its use is endless. I have been using it for several months now and have never stopped loving it. As a middle school student, I partake in sports, which result in persistent muscle sores in my arms, legs, and neck. I use the product after track practice, before and after swim practice, and during swim meets. The portable, cylindrical canister is convenient, easy to carry in a backpack or sports bag, and quick and simple to apply. After long hikes or a day of working in the yard, Biofreeze is one of the first things I run to for pain relief. Biofreeze is great for sporadic aches, muscle cramps, soreness, and any other type of dull, throbbing pain. You apply it either up and down or back and forth and let the ointment seep in. The relief comes almost instantaneously- around zero to 30 seconds after being applied- and is long-lasting. The resulting relief feels like your sore area has been stuck into a cooler filled with ice. The pain is immediately replaced with comfortable numbness and a cooling, tickling sensation. Occasionally I feel a small, warm stinging in my muscles, but it in fact helps with my pain. It is neither too mild nor too strong and soothes and relaxes my muscles, even in the pool. Fanning it also helps improve the cool sensation. Biofreeze is clear and although it smells strongly of menthol (which I personally like the scent of), the smell fades away quickly while the relief does not. You do not need to apply a superfluous amount- just a quick stroke with the roll-on would ensure relief in the whole area. One thing to remember about using Biofreeze is to shake the product before use, or else it would not work. Otherwise, it is not drippy or sticky and provides perfect relief. I highly recommend using Biofreeze if you suffer from either chronic or sporadic pain. It consistently relieves my soreness and is both great to use and transport. This type of cold therapy is just the sort I need, especially after a tiring sports practice or workout.

Biofreeze is the Bomb (the good kind)
I normally wait and use a product for a while before writing a review. I just received Biofreeze. Just to let you...perhaps also the depth of my stupidity...I walked out in the dark 5 weeks ago to see why a Water District truck was pulled in front of the house next door, being renovated, at 9 p.m. and tripped over a pile of rocks dumped there that day (unknown to me). Broke my fall by (of course) putting my hands down in front of me and suffered what I thought was severe sprain in both hands, wrists, arms, and back of neck (more likely tendon damage...no, I don't want to go to the Medicare doc who will order 20 tests to determine nothing). Getting older my the minute (nearly 70), the body does not bounce back as quickly as in my youthful days and have been in pain during this time. Put on Biofreeze not expecting much...but, hey, you gotta keep trying until you get well. I now sit here painfree. Yes...painfree. From my fingertips to the back of my neck. I am rather amazed. If I pick up anything heavy, my hands, wrists, etc. still hurt, but without exerting any pressure on them, I sit here painfree. How great is that??? I wanted to add an edit (first ever!) Today (approximately three days after beginning treatment with Biofreeze), I woke up and have not had to use Biofreeze. I still feel some tenderness, but the pain I felt three days ago is gone! Frankly, I didn't expect this result. I expected pain relief but didn't expect that the ingredients would actually help healing. I thought others might find this development interesting or useful.

Great cooling effect, great for travel
I love biofreeze, it was recommended to me a few years ago when I hurt my knee. A nurse friend suggested it and I've been hooked ever since. To be honest, I have a few favorites when it comes to muscle aches and pain relief. But I like what works!! Some might be turned off of the menthol scent, though yes, it does vanish, but not quickly. I for one LOVE the scent of things of this nature. This particular one is a roll on. I was looking an easy for a way to apply a product to my skin myself and the roll on worked perfectly. I was staying with a family friend when I injured my shoulder and needed relief. I found this which worked perfectly because not only is it a roll on AND Biofreeze but it met the TSA guidelines for flying being that it's 3oz. I was out of state and heading home at some point so being able to fly with it was a bonus. I was able to apply it prior to the flight. It brought almost instant cooling relief to get me through and ease the pain in my shoulder, upper back and neck without asking anyone for help applying it. It's come in great handy since no one in my house likes to massage creams when I have aches or pains. I'd recommended this to anyone who needs a product like this and ease of use is a must. Even if it's for a knee or ankle and just not easy for someone to reach or bend to for long periods of time to rub a lotion in. I'm still dealing with my injury and some pain and was able to bring this roller ball with when I did some traveling. It works wil and the cooling relief is nice. I feel it works better than the lotion pump Biofreeze that I have.

BEST relief for back, neck, and/or muscle pain and drug free
This stuff helps me live a normal life, some days allowing me to skip the ibuprofen. (Always a good thing.) It's drug free--the roll-on uses a 4% menthol gel to relieve pain. There is a nice non-medicinal scent of menthol that fades after a few minutes. (Who wants to smell like most of those strongly scented salves?) I started out with the spray because it's menthol level is a much higher dose but I found the nozzle clunky and the spray goes all over the place. I use the roll-on because it's clean and doesn't get wasted spreading it on my hands like the cream. Make sure to shake before using and only roll-on in one direction. Circular motions not recommended (the gel will form accumulations around the ball which wastes the gel).

Great pacakging with the roll on. Best application.
I am an occupational therapist who works in a hospital and is on my feet for more than 8 hour work days while I help people to walk and move around all day. This is my go to to relieve my back pain, aches, and all the other fun stuff that comes with the territory of my line of work. I use this after hard work outs when I’m sore too as it helps me get through the work day. He roll on is the best invention because I don’t get my hands covered and it’s easy to store in my gym bag/work bag for a quick use while I’m working or working out. It really helps with sore muscles! I love the smell too as it opens my nostrils and I can breathe better.

Helps with arthritis
This is a fantastic product. My husband, a friend and I all use this product. You can smell the menthol for about 3 minutes and then the odor is gone. I buy the roll on and it does not go on or dry sticky. I don't know why it works but it does. I have an old back injury as well as arthritis and it is great. I showed my doctor and he agreed that it is a great product. By the way this is a great product if you need to stay away from aspirin products

A Lifesaver!!!!
I almost waited at the mailbox for this to be delivered! I pulled a muscle in my back yesterday doing a new exercise and have been getting muscle spasms ever since. I had ordered this a few days ago for some sore muscles not knowing I would get a more pressing injury . Well I used it immediately upon arrival and OMG the spasms ended almost instantly and I've had no more pain since! It's been over six hours and still no pain! I'm sold! The roll on is sooo much easier to apply than creams, which is a huge bonus! Yes it has an odor, which isn't that strong but dissipates quickly. Smell doesn't bug me at all, though. Finally found something that truly works! Thank you! I'll make see I always have this around.
