I LOVE this heater. I bought this as a space heater for our two car garage, which doubles an an office for myself and which my two dogs join me in for most of the day. I live in the Central Valley in Cali and it gets down to about 30 degrees F here at night and our coldest days are about 45 degrees F. I just wanted something to heat up the few square feet in which my desk is and my dog's beds are, but this sucker warms the whole garage. Don't get me wrong, it's still pretty chilly on the opposite side end the garage, but when you initially walk out of the house into the garage you can't really tell the difference in temperature. In fact, it's been warmer out here than in the house a few times! I know a lot of reviews state not to plug it into an extension chord outlet, but it was the only choice we had given that our only wall-plug in the garage is behind our refrigerator out here. We've been using it cautiously for about a week now and we've had no problems. We will continue to only keep it plugged in while home and keep an eye on it while it's in use, but other than that this thing more than met my expectations and needs.

I've been using this for a few months now, and it's been working great! After configuring it, I only use the automatic running setting now, I simply need to set a temperature, and it will try to stay around that temperature - the specific settings are that it will run until 2 degrees over your set temperature, and rest until the room drops 1 degree below your set temperature. It's been my personal heater in my room, and it heats the room so well that my housemates have been coming to my room to do work because it's so warm. My room is about 10ft x 8ft and the heater is able to bring the temperature from 68 to 72 in about 10 minutes. Since it's not the coil type, it doesn't actually burn you if you accidentally touch it either; it's just very, very warm. I haven't used it in a larger master bedroom yet, but I'm sure it would be relatively effective.

I live paycheck to paycheck but my room is in the basement and I freeze so I was trying to just find the cheapest heater to get me by. I debated buying this one for a few days and decided to spend more money and get it. I couldn’t be happier with it. It works amazing and does more than I realized. I highly reccomend buying this heater. I’m extremely satisfied with this. It even has a nice look to it.

This little heater really puts out some serious heat. We have a 2 story home with vaulted ceilings in our living room...and the turd who designed the place put the vents for a/c and heating at the top of the 2 story ceiling. That said, our living room can get a bit cooler than desired in the winter. Obviously we would try to compensate by turning the heat up a bit, but then the upstairs rooms of our house are like 80 degrees while the downstairs is barely hitting 65. To correct for this, we bought this Lasko unit. It does a great job of quickly spreading heat in the desired room to heat things up. What I like: -It heats up quickly -It has an optional remote -It by-default has a timer set when you turn it on -It has adjustable heat settings What I dont like: -Really a personal note here, but it does tip kind of easily. Not a huge deal since we keep it against a wall, but our curious 10-month old has knocked it over a few times. Not a huge deal, as long as someone is monitoring the room this thing is in, it shouldnt be a problem. Overall very pleased.

I love this heater. My son's room doesn't get any heat for some reason so in the winter it can get pretty cold. Well, not with this heater! It adjusts by preferred temperature (we like his room at 67 degrees) and shuts off when the room reaches it. Produces a great amount of heat without being too hot to the touch...my son is quite the curious one. His nickname is Murphy. As in Murphy's Law. Our last heater (same product) had to be replaced when my freshly bathed son stood in front of it and warmed himself while emptying his bladder. I guess he was so warm and toasty he thought he'd just pee right into the thing... I thought he was going to electrocute himself. Nope. So its pretty safe too... ;)

I run this in my office all day during the winter. It performs flawlessly all the time. Nice consistent heat, low noise, and no smells. The remote works great too, the buttons are large and easy to press. I would definitely buy again for myself or for family and friends. You will not be disappointed! I've owned it for over a year and it has seen a lot of use.

I have two in my kitchen, and it isn't killing my electric bill at all, and it keeps me warm. Aside from a few days when it was colder, this has been totally doing the trick in helping me keep warm in my house this winter, even without using any other heating system, aside from another larger ceramic space heater in a bedroom, and I'm in Alaska. I had to find outlets that worked. If they did not, it tripped my system, and I had to try again. Using good outlets, all is well. I can set this product on high or low, and it has an oscillating feature, also. I believe it has a remote, but I don't actually need it. The only problem is its narrow and high, and not real large, so sometimes I walk into it accidentally and knock it over. I love these ceramic type heaters though. This unit turns off automatically if knocked over for safety, and it runs like a champ, even though I've knocked them both over a few times. I turn them off to be on the safe side when I leave the house, but sometimes I leave it on overnight, and I don't feel I have to worry about it. I just put it on the lower setting. Although it really only heats a smaller area, eventually it can warm up the area quite nicely, and it helps keep the whole house comfortable enough, even though my house is small, not tiny, but small and probably not too hard to heat. I have an oil space heater for back up, which I do not like to use because it aggravates my allergies. The ceramic heaters do not cause me any additional breathing discomfort, and that's a big bonus for me. At least once a year, make sure your heater is not connected, take some Q Tips and carefully clean out the grill work and that's enough to keep it fresh for a good while. No problems so far. It is priced fairly enough, and it has saved the day, many a time by keeping my family from freezing.

I've had this heater for 4 years. It's only been used in small bedrooms so if you have a large room this review may not pertain to you. Quality- The heater is 4 years old and it still works. I'd say it's a good heater. I bought an older house where the heat is everywhere in the house except the bedrooms. The heater is used at night when we sleep every night during the cold season. It hasn't broken or malfunctioned to date. Works like new. Performance- The heater's not made for large spaces. It heats a insulated bedroom nicely so it turns off and gives itself breathers when the temperate reaches the set limit. I'm going to say the bedrooms we have are around 300-350 sq. ft. and lightly insulated. For anything larger, I'd look for a different heater. There's lots of options so don't settle on one you "like" that just might work. Instead, do your research and find a heater that is the correct heater for your situation. **Fact-People burn houses down in unimaginable numbers yearly because they buy these cool little heaters that aren't big enough for the area they are going to heat and so they run, and run, and run... if you have older electric wiring it's more likely to cause this than newer but it'll heat up until the house sets fire. So I stress for safety sake, get the appropriate source of heat and also get the appropriate size. I didn't get a discount or anything with this review. It makes me laugh because when I read reviews I immediately assume someone is being sneaky and lying but in all seriousness. Good product if it's what you need.

I have only used this heater for one night and I'm already impressed. I live in northern Idaho and it's already getting cooler at night and early morning. I got this little heater to better regulate the rooms we heat in order to keep the main thermostat down as low as possible. My husband and I tried it last night before bed to make sure it would work well. We turned it on auto setting it quickly brought the room up to the set temperature and turned off. It kicked back on a couple of times when the temperature got below the set range. We forgot that we had it on and didn't turn it off before bed, when we got up the living room was a nice warm temperature. This little guy heated the whole area perfectly and residual heat flowed in to our kitchen making it bearable when it is normally a frozen wasteland in the morning. The only issue with the unit is part of the numbers for the temperature on the digital display do not light up making it difficult to read the numbers. Which is an isdue with this specific unit and won't be an isdue for mos (So I'mstill giving it 5 stars). We may as for replacement for this reason. Other wise very happy.
