Better than the cheap Harbor Freight discs

This discs last longer than the cheap ones from Harnor Freight. My husband does a good bit of metal cutting, and he noticed a big difference in how much longer they last. A Product that delivers what it promises

Got these a few minutes ago and have cut off and polished a hardened steel 1/2 inch diameter rod 3 times. These DEWALT DW8062B5 4-1/2-Inch by 0.045-Inch Metal and Stainless Cutting Wheels go through steel like butter. After three cuts and surface polishing, the wheel still looks good. By way of comparison, a diamond coated wheel took about 5 minutes compared with 45 seconds.

Excellent cutting disk

The trick I learned was not to press down while cutting just let the weight of the cutter be the cutting force. Cut through 3/4" rebar without any problems. Great source for items not available locally.

These discs are the $#!#. Turns a big task into a small one. Fits your standard angle grinders and turns any steel into butter. I used these with my hitachi angle grinder.

Superior Product - Great Price - Cost Effective

I have been using this product for a few years now and find the are a fine additional to my garage. Just ran out and ordered another 25 blades. Fast clean cutting & long lasting too. Sweet -

Reinforced around the arbor hole.

The last set of these cutting wheels I got were made by a different manufacturer (picked up at the H-Depot) and they had such little meat around the arbor hole that they separated from the disk within a few minutes of use. These Dewalt cutting wheels have much more metal around that arbor hole and look like they'll take plenty of punishment without separating.

Wheel cut through a 1 inch diameter copper pipe, and a cast iron pipe connecting to the main sewer line in my house. allowed me to cut a leaking elbow off, take it to the Home Depot, where the guy looked at it, and gave me all the right parts, plastic pipe, elbow, glue, rubber couplings to make the repair. This cutting wheel made cutting off the 2 pipes easy. A lot of sparks while cutting through the cast iron.

Just moved into this property a few months ago and finally got around to moving a pile of rocks that was irritatingly placed in my mowing path. In the process I discovered a foot long spike protruding straight up from the ground in the middle of the pile. After about a half hour of wrestling with said spike, I understood why the previous owner decided to pile rocks around it. They probably didn't own an angle grinder. A quick trip to Amazon and in two prime days these puppies showed up. Thirty seconds of a spark show later, my spike was cut beneath ground level. Nothing like having the right tool for the job!

Less blown up wheels to the face

I was using these to cut through copper pipe, wire, brass and various steels. These are way more durable than the diablos I was previously using. One major difference is the thickness. These are more thick, equating to more durability.

Great product, does what it is supposed to do

I bought these for my dewalt angle grinder/cut off tool. I put it to use on a bolt that needed to be cut off and then used it to grind a slot for a screw driver on a bolt. Works great and cut metal like butter.
