Good replacement for my Jensen New style (beginning with 1995)
The Amazon description is confusing here. The whole Jensen (since 2004) through me off and the Camco website was no help as well. My camper is 2001 but I can see the hinge was the new style. When I search the net, everything kept coming up "Jensen (since 2004). So I rolled the dice and order it. It fits. That why it gets the stars. I wish they would update with some pictures of the box and a description from the the box. But I doubt that will happen. The box is Camco 40152 which is the new style hinge. The box description is "#40152 Jensen NEW Style (beginning with 1995) Lid Assembly (with Plastic Hinge) Replacement." There are four nice pictures on the box that show you which model of lid to purchase based on the hinge configuration. I hope this help someone.

Better than stock
Much better quality than the stock originals I replaced with these. Install is piece of cake, if you have an RV chances are that you have some DIY Skills. If you've never done it, watch a youtube video and by the third one I had it down to a simple routine. Hopefully these last longer than the covers that came on my RV. It's only 4 years old and they were trashed.

Great value. EASy install. PICTURES WILL HELP CONFIRM FITMENT.
Great replacement cover. I liked the smoke better than the original opaque. Even though it looks dark, it lets some light in. Some here say the plastic is thin. Yes, it is thinner than our OEM cover. But it appears to be sufficient to last a long time. The hinge is simple, bendable metal. Removal is done by bending the curved piece at the end of the hinge and sliding the cover towards the opposite side. Install is the same idea; When you have it in place, you simply bend the little end piece into a small curly-cue and that keeps the hinge from sliding out either way. CONFIRM FITMENT. The description of the vent lid could have had more specifications. Many here ask about sizing. The manufacturer refers to this cover as a 14x14 size. That alone won't give you much confidence that you have the right cover. I have included pics to help you confirm this will work on your unit. I also installed a new vinyl seal. Ventline #BVD0455-01, 51" length. Overall, I was very satisfied with the new cover and it's a terrific value. Saved plenty of money and time over taking it to the RV dealer.

Bug and Weather Repellent
Well, when you get the right one, it works just fine. The design of these vents have pretty much stayed the same over quite a few years, but I've notice the price has kept current. These a pretty simple, light weight and generic. Not sure how many seasons they will last, but for now, the bugs and weather isn't an issue.

Fit perfect. Totally black so you can not see thru it. Our RF vent is over the bed. Yep! right over the bed and our heads. Great place to put a see thru vent with the sun coming up right in your eyes! This took care of the problem. Really good quality too.

Easy Peasy.
This is not a black vent to block light out. It is smoke colored. It provides light, but in a way that is soft. It's like wearing sunglasses. Very easy to install. Only need pliers or a flat screwdriver to bend the clips on the end of the hinge. Your hardest part is the crank attachment. You have to remove the crank handle and arm from inside in order to slide the old vent lid off the hinge outside. Easy to follow instructions (if you're in to reading those things).

I really like that its a completely black cover to keep light ...
Too early to tell if it'll hold up but the Hengs I bought last year was smashed in one tiny storm. This is COMPLETELY Black unlike the impostors saying they are black but turn out to be smoke. Wish i would have found this last year. Im also experimenting by putting spray foam under it to help keep temps in the rv down and maybe aide in its rigidity. I really like that its a completely black cover to keep light out in the early mornings. super easy install took 10 minutes to do 2 of them.

... in there the old old one was busted up pretty bad and the previous owner had taped it up ...
I ordered 3 total vents two smoke and one black the black one was for the bedroom vent I work night so my sleep time winds up during the day and did not want light in there the old old one was busted up pretty bad and the previous owner had taped it up the light was already blocked but found since it was broken the corner was not sealing and high wind storm hit the other day I found out the hard way that it was not sealing by A wet bed this is a great upgrade plus looks better the one over shower I replaced last year with a used one my grandfather had but since the bathroom was broke I wanted them all to match both looks and replacement time so I replaced it as well very pleased with all 3 just with the smoked one wish they was darker than they are

Perfect replacement for previoius vents
*Update: After 3 years of use on an RV that is stored outside and uncovered, these vents are still in great shape. I would definitely purchase these again if needed, but as of now, I won't need to for quite a while.* Perfect fit replacement. When previous vent lid disintegrated during trip from years of sun exposure, this was purchased as a replacement as well as a second one to replace other vent showing deterioration. This item made replacement incredibly easy. Detach and slide off remains of old ones and slide on new one and reattach. Took about 5 minutes for each vent and most of that time was detaching the cranking mechanism and climbing up on the rook of camper. Looks great on top of camper and great visibility through vent from inside. Just make sure the hinge is the correct type for your camper.

OK 2nd times a charm, first cover did not fit even after a Dremel remod - reversing the slide bracket position = fail. . Called Winnebago got their part # for our 2016 Aspect (064 470-01-70), unit on Amazon was 24.??plus 12.00 S&H same as factory direct. While reading the Q&A on that part I was directed to this Camco unit at 1/3 the price. Install was simplified by: #1 Putting the crank arm fully in up position, #2 removing the 2 screws on the slide bracket attaching the bracket to the arm, #3 mounting the cover to the hinges, #4 remounting the bracket to the cover #5 install the 1" square "U" spring slide pin lock- Done. NOTE: this does not come with the "U" Slide Pin Lock, hopefully you have yours. Note to Camco - "why not tape an extra to the cover and add $0.50?!
