Nice Child Bowling Shoes; Run a bit large so room to grow

These are nice bowling shoes for a child. They seem to be well build and the material appears to be high quality. My 7 year old typically wears a size 2 street shoe, so I bought these also in a size 2. Based on other reviews I expected them to run big, which is what I wanted so he has room to grow. As expected they are approximately 1/2-1 size larger than his regular sneakers. He seems to have no trouble wearing them, no thicker socks needed. He has bowled 1-2 games 5 or 6 times since purchasing them about 2 months ago, and he has never complained that they bother him at all. I like it that they are a neutral color so he can some day pass these down to his younger brother and sister, so hopefully we will get a lot of use of them. Even though they have the felt pad on the bottom (typical of bowling shoes) he traction on them seems to be good as well and they are not too slippery, which is good because the lightest bowling ball our alley has is 6 pounds and he definitely struggles to carry and throw the ball. The laces also stay tied, and don't easily come undone which is also nice so we don't have to constantly re-tie them for him. The price for the shoes through Amazon was just right, and very comparable to youth sized bowling shoes found on other sites. Plus they come with free returns and Prime shipping, so you cant really beat that.

avoid stinky rentals and get your kid these

I can't stand house rental shoes. Just Gross! So I purchased these bowling shoes hoping they would at least last the summer league. To my surprise, they have lasted quite a bit longer being used at least twice a week. It was much more sanitary and cheaper buying these than paying a shoe rental each week. Good buy for a budget shoe for a youth bowler.

2nd pair so far and no objections

2nd pair I bought for my son. First pair lasted forever, sadly he outgrew them. This pair seems just as nice as the previous pair.

Good basic shoe.

I purchased the shoes for my grandson which he wears three to four times a week for summer bowling. Because they won't get much abuse I'm sure he will outgrow them before he wears them out. The quality is good and the shoes look great. Good value, saves me the $4.00 shoe rental each time we go bowling.

My sons wears these when we go bowling so we don't have to rent shoes. They are very nice and look almost like normal shoes. They do run big as my son who just turned 8 wears a 2 in other shoes and these are big.

My children said the shoes fit true to size. The only complaint was one pair was a little more slippery, but it wasn't enough to lower the rating. Great price and sizing was on point.

Bought these for our 5 year old. they are a bit big but we purchased them with this in mind. Now we can enjoy them for a few years hoepfully without having to buy a new paid. They appear well made and come as pictured. Nice product.

Great shoes for the price!

Perfect shoes for a starter. Both my boys joined a youth league and we weren't sure where to start. These are nice and sturdy.
