Exceeds 5 stars!!!

My one year old is working on molars and just discovered the luxury of gnawing on the exposed end rails of his crib. I ordered these to stop the distruction and was more than thrilled when they came in! They look great, fit the crib great, and also are reinforced with a thick underside similar to the material of a mattress protector. I'm a very satisfied customer and wish I had got them sooner!!! I tucked the little ties under the wrap so that they were a distraction for my son and the cover didn't at all interfere with my crib soother. There is plenty of extra tie for bigger crib rails too. Yes, you do need these.

At first, I didn't think that we needed these, but as I've learned in life, it's best not to question the wife! :) But seriously, we walked into our sons' room one morning and found paint chips all over his face, and need I say even more? Since installing the rail covers on the front and the sides, we haven't had any problems. He seems to only focus his chomping on the front of the crib but we have them for the sides as well, just to be safe. It's non-toxic paint but I still don't want him to eat it--surely, you feel the same. Easy to install and I don't have any complaints. Great product. Washes nicely and performs perfectly for the intended use. Good luck to other parents of teething babies! :)

Works well.

I was really nervous about buying this, because having anything in the crib is not recommended with my baby. But we needed something, because my baby kept chewing on the wood rails of the crib. This product is great! All the attachment points made me feel much more confident that this wouldnt be a safety hazard. And now my baby can chew on these instead!

Excellent product

Wish I’d known about these with my first!! My first child has destroyed her crib rails with chewing. Did not make that mistake with 2nd- gonna keep it brand new with these! My baby loves to play with the strings. It looks nice, washes well, easy to install and seems well made/secure. Great invention and product. Highly recommend for all new parents! Even greater that I can use these to cover the chewed up rails on my first child’s crib should we decide to use it again. Kills 2 birds with one stone.

Must have for teething babies!

Buy this before you put your teething baby in his/her new crib! We learned the hard way. But my one year old down for a nap in his new $350 crib and got him out with teeth marks all over on side of it. Ordered these immediately with Prime! No more new teeth marks! He is now two and we have them removed as he is no longer teething/biting. But wished I had known how important these were in the teething stage and had had them sooner. Order them! Great quality and so easy to install, wash, and remove!

soft plush rail cover

Really love this item and the price was the best I found out there. It gives me piece of mind to know that my grandson will not bust his face on the crib rail due to the plush, padded softness of the cover. Easy to install and very well made. Very versatile as you can use it on a bassinet, playpen or crib, probably would even work on a baby gate! Great item!

things you should look out for

1.they cover the edges of the bed pretty well so you don't need to worry about the baby biting the wooden part so often. 2. the most important part is that you won't worry about the teeth of the baby being accidentally knocked down--with this cushion it is slightly safer. 3. do wash those when you first get them. 4. recommend the white color (not sure if it comes with other colors though). 5. when your baby can grab the rail and stand up (> 6 month?) it is maybe time for you to start getting those.

They are super easy to install by tying knots with the fleece ...

I bought these when my toddler started gnawing on her crib leaving huge gauges in the wood. I was worried that she would get splinters in her mouth and be exposed to whatever gross chemicals are in wood stain. They are super easy to install by tying knots with the fleece ties. The knots don't come undone easily (my daughter has never gotten one untied). I thought that having all those dangling ties would distract my daughter from sleeping because she loves playing with tags and things like that but she has payed almost no attention to the ties at all. The ties are a little too far apart for the wrap to lay perfectly flat around the crib rails but this doesn't effect its performance, it just loses a little aesthetic appeal. I like that the fleece is backed with a plastic- like fabric. It protects the wood from moisture and makes the wrap thicker. Overall, I was hesitant to spend so much money on something so simple but these give me peace of mind which makes them completely worth the money.

expensive to cover all the sides but worth the investment

I wasn’t happy about the price. This is so way over priced but that this is the going $ everywhere, besides a second hand store. Very happy with my purchase otherwise. My little one was chipping away all he paint I couldn’t get these washed fast enough. I cleaned them as instructed... machine wash and hang to dry. I have a slim fit rail and it fits my daughters crib nicely. The sage green is very pretty, and this will keep her sleeping area safe as well as extending the life of this crib.
