Very durable and reliable

Very durable and reliable. Great price. Had them for at least a month now and they haven't melted. So that's a good thing. My husband uses them for knife making with his forge and such and I haven't heard a complaint about them. I would buy them again.

Great for entry level smithing

Does what it's intended to do, grab hot stuff and not hurt the end user. No issues so far with the product; I'm new to forging so I'm not sure what types of tongs I needed so I grabbed this one because of the price and it was shipped same day. I would recommend if you are looking for a tool to use while forging but make sure you get a fairly good grip on the hot metal because there is no grips on the handle it can be little challenging.

I came across these tongs for under $25 I am completely impressed with the quality and cost. All and all, I just paid a Blacksmith an hour for less than $25. I would charge you more than $40 for an hour, just to heat the forge.
