perfect for what we were looking for
Our pantry is a little tiny thing and we needed more storage and wanted enclosed storage so we don't have to look at everything. I've put together a lot of furniture through the years and I have to say this was one of the easiest things I've ever assembled. It's a nice, clean simple look and fits perfectly on the one wall where we wanted additional storage. All the shelves are adjustable/removable and it really holds a lot of stuff. Extremely happy with this purchase and wondering if there is somewhere else in the house we might need one.

Great cabinet - easy to assemble
Good easy to follow instruction. I would recommend this to a person of any skill level.

No mis-alignment for the doors!
The biggest thing I worried about after reading the reviews was that people said the doors won't align properly. I just assembled mine, the doors look perfectly aligned without any adjustments. There's a small gap between when the doors are closed though, so you can see the shelves. It's a bit odd but I'm not super bothered. I attached pictures of finished cabinet, hope it's helpful. Overall it's well worth the price!

Top quality cabinet to organize our pantry clutter!
Love this cabinet! We used to have a two tier Ikea changing table (for babies) in the corner of our dining area to hold some of our pantry items. We had it packed/stacked to the max and it was an eye sore to look at since there was no rhyme or reason on how we organized our stuff there. Like my title says, it was a clutter. This cabinet fits PERFECTLY in that corner. With it we are able to organize all that clutter with plenty room to spare! I decided to configure the shelves to match what the assembly instructions show. That configuration is optimal for us, with the bottom and top spaces being tall enough house a 6-qt Instant Pot. The middle three spaces aren’t as tall, but still tall enough to room cereal boxes and 1-gallon jugs. The quality of the cabinet is top notch, very sturdy and not flimsy. Nothing cheap about this cabinet. The paint job is good and the doors open/close fine. Assembly took me some time, but that’s because I had a lot of interruptions. With no interruption and full focus, I’d say it would have taken me maybe 1.5 hours, two at the most to assemble. This includes unboxing, cleaning up, and adjustments. Assembly instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The longest parts for me to do was nailing in all 40 nails to secure the back panel and getting the doors on. The most frustrating part for me was getting the doors on. I don’t know how many times I cursed out the doors when I was trying to get them on. It was a painstaking task for me to line up the hinge screw holes with the holes in the cabinet. I had to do a juggling act with one hand holding the door up, one foot helping out at that hand by lifting the door up from the bottom, the other foot propped to the side of the cabinet to keep it from moving back and the other hand to screw the hinges in. This would have been so much easier with another person helping me lift the door up. Initially, the hinge side of the doors rubbed against the cabinet when opening/closing them. With some adjustments on the hinges (instructions show how to do this), our doors open/close smooth as ever. We also made our cabinet mobile by putting some of those self-sticking felt pads under the cabinet feet so that we can easily slide it on the hardwood floor. In conclusion, if you’re looking to clear out some pantry clutter, you can’t go wrong with this cabinet!

Couldn't be happier!
We got three of these cabinets to put in our dining room. We work from home and need loads of storage for our products, and wanted something that looked elegant but could also be installed with baby locks so our toddlers couldn't get in them. These are so perfect for what we needed! Installation was not too difficult either, and we really loved the fact that the parts were separated in compartments and labeled. Made it very easy to find what we needed. The boxes were very heavy, I felt bad for our UPS driver, but they are very sturdy shelves and are perfect for what we wanted.

Love my new pantry and appliance storage.
I bought three of these and put them together myself. I love the way they look and work great!

Customizable built-ins without the cost
I wanted the look of built-ins without the price and labor for all of my crafting, art supplies and our family board games. These are perfect. The adjustable shelves were perfect to tailor it to exactly the measurements I needed to fit the max number of 4” tall sterilite boxes I ordered from amazon. Each box houses a specific craft material and easily remains visible and accessible on the cabinet shelves. These cabinets allowed me to have the look I was going for and keep my supplies out of sight of my 16 month old, who before now hadn’t been permitted in this part of the basement. These cabinets are heavy and easily anchor to the wall. They even adjust on their feet to accommodate our sloping basement floor to appear even on the top. The depth is perfect. Deep enough for standard sterilite boxes, but not too deep to allow wasted space or items to become lost in the back. Highly recommend these cabinets.

Exactly as advertised
I am leaving a 5 star review not because this is a beautiful piece of furniture that will be a centerpiece in your home, but because it is exactly as advertised and I am very happy with it. It is made of particleboard and has a laminate pattern as a finish. For the price, it's exactly what you are going to get. It looks just like the picture. It was relatively easy to put together with two people and the directions were easy to follow. All small parts were packaged separately and labeled in detail, making it easy to find the exact screw or part you need. Unlike other reviewers, we had no issues with door misalignment or with the shelves having to be wedged in so tight that the sides bow out. The people that had these issues clearly were not too precise when putting the piece together. You have to make sure that when you screw the flat bottom piece into the sides, that the edges of the sides are aligned exactly as possible with the outside edge of the bottom board. If you screw them in much further in, you will have a problem with door misalignment and having to pound the shelves into the unit. So as long as you are precise and careful and not sloppy about it, you should have no problem. Most issues people are seeing after assembling the unit are user error. The doors are adjustable after installation and we eliminated the gap other people complained about by properly adjusting either the vertical or horizontal adjustment screws. Only small issue we had was that the bottom boards with the legs in them did not fit exactly because the screw holes were a few millimeters off and we had to drill a small hole for one of the screws, but that fixed that and there is no problem with the way the unit looks or stands. This is a storage unti for our laundry room that will serve as an extra pantry and will have plenty of moderately heavy items on it, and it seems sturdy and fits its purpose. Being laminate, it won't wear well like real wood, but for the money, it's great.

Very nice piece of furniture....with excellent instructions.
I have purchased many Sauder items over the years....most have been very good, and this is no exception. Packaging is great, everything was in perfect shape. Instructions are in real English, with a bit of humor thrown in too! Follow them closely and you will have zero issues with assembly. All the parts are clearly marked and what I was really impressed with is all the hardware were in one big plastic bag but with separate compartments that were labeled AND had perforation to make opening easier!! I was a bit concerned that I would have to mess with the doors, but mine were really close to being perfect without having to do anything. No big gap that many have complained about. It can be assembled by one, though like many items, having an extra set of hands will help...especially when attaching the doors (the most difficult part of the process). I should also make note, when attaching the back you will want to start on one end and make your way down each side sort of forcing the unit to conform to the back. I made the mistake of doing all four corners and while I got them placed perfect there was a slight bunching in one spot. Not a big deal...cannot see from the inside, but from one side you can see the small gap. Take your time with the back as it is an integral part of the unit. The shelves are very sturdy....and being fully adjustable is very convenient! Sauder really got it right with the entire process....and if you have further trouble they even give you links to on line video help....which I did not need. It took me about 90 minutes from start to finish....I was taking my time too.

100x nicer than IKEA
I’ve purchased six of these cabinets from Sauder — in all three finishes (Dakota Oak, Sienna Oak, and white) — for the last three houses I have lived in. This cabinet so perfect for my needs that I just keep buying the darn thing, LOL. It's always easy to put together, and I know I'm going to get a consistently good product. I recently bought two units of this storage cabinet yet AGAIN, in white, to use in my home office. The cabinet was easy to put together. I've constructed a ton of DIY furniture over the years from various stores, including Target, IKEA, World Market, Overstock, etc., and as usual, I was extremely impressed with this cabinet from Sauder. First, the instructions were clear and easy to follow and even included tips on making minor adjustments to the hinges (loosening the mounting screws) so that you can attach them into the cabinet walls quickly and easily. These tips also help you position the doors so there's no gap between them. Sauder also has a ton of instructional YouTube videos that help with this -- I'd highly recommend checking them out as a reference before putting the cabinet together. All the hardware is separated and labeled in a handy plastic bubble sheet. And, all of the pre-drilled screw holes are in the right spot. Everything just fits. You don't have to bend or shove or warp anything to get it to align properly. I'm a petite/small-framed 5'4" female, and aside from having my husband bring the shipping box (110 pounds) inside the house, I took it from there and put the cabinet together by myself with no assistance. It took about an hour and required only a hammer and a Philips head screwdriver (I'd recommend using an electric screwdriver to speed things up). I do want to share a DIY furniture tip or "shortcut" I learned years ago. When attaching door hinges to a cabinet, it's easier for me to lay the cabinet on its side and then attach the hinges parallel to the floor, meaning you won't have to balance or hold up the door. This approach has worked for years and definitely worked with this Sauder cabinet as well. Both of the units I ordered had a few tiny nicks in the finish here and there, but not on every piece. Honestly, I used a white chalk pen to fill them in, and you can't even tell. I think these minor scratches could be totally avoided if Sauder would just put a single sheet of newsprint paper between the individual pieces in the shipping box, like Ikea does. As it stands, the pieces are well protected by the shipping box, but they're not necessarily protected from *each other* inside the box. All of the cabinet's interior shelves are adjustable and hold a maximum weight of 25 pounds each. They are a very tight fit, though. I agree with other reviewers who said that the interior shelves are cut about 1/8" - 1/16" too wide. However, I got them to fit with a little pushing/tapping. The door handles look sleek and modern and are a cinch to attach. Overall, I'm really pleased with how easy this cabinet was to construct, the extra tips on adjusting the hinges, and the appearance of the finished product. I highly recommend this cabinet and would not hesitate to buy it again or buy another piece from Sauder. It's so much nicer than what you'd get from IKEA! [Also, side note: Because of the depth of this cabinet (17") and the fact that all the interior shelves are adjustable, it would be great as a dollhouse apartment for adult collectors of Blythe, Pullip, Barbie, etc.!]
