I definitely love this set! I use it to film my youtube tutorials and use it in my photo shoots. The lighting is great and you can't beat it for the price. Just be sure to be gentle with them.

I'm so happy with these lights for my photoshoots I do on my baby. It was cloudy outside and these pictures came out bright and vivid and just amazing. No photoshop used!

I love it!!! I'm starting my busines so I can't spend too much.for now its perfect. Already made some pictures that would not be possible without it.

I believe this set is very beginner friendly! Very easy to assemble. I haven't had a chance to use the umbrellas. The light bulb by itself gives great lighting for pictures in my iPhone!!!

I've had these lights for about a week now, and I have to say that I am very, very impressed at the quality of these for the low price! Of course there are better options out there, but for somebody who is looking for a low-budget option, this is exactly what you should buy! I recently started a beauty channel on YouTube and was looking for a lighting setup that would help illuminate my indoor filming area. And these three lights definitely do the trick! I did also buy a separate light that attaches to the top of the camera as well, to help further light up my face specifically, but that is just a personal preference...certainly not a necessity! You could easily use these lights alone to film videos, even in a fairly dark room. Excuse my pajamas, messy hair, and complete lack of makeup (I didn't realize I'd want to share these with anybody!), but the picture attached is a good example of how great these lights really work. That photo was taken in a room that has lots of windows, but it was 8:30 at night and pitch dark outside as you can see, and there was no other lighting being used in the room besides this system. Pretty good, right?!!

This is my first set of lights and are a great beginners set. I am new to photography, but this set ha really helped get the desired lighting in my pictures, even when I have low natural lighting available. The set comes with two umbrellas, with stands and light bulbs, and a shorter light stand and light bulb. The bulbs have their own night case and Styrofoam to keep them safe and the stands and umbrellas also have their own bag. The setup is very easy and it all breaks down just as well and fits nicely into the bag. Such a wonderful lighting setup!

I LOVE THESE LIGHTS!!! They work so well, the lightbulb is 600 Watts, and they are so bright, but just letting you know if you have an outlet that doesn't work so well with strong bulbs or electronics it won't work for these lights, the energy in the lights are too powerful for the outlet, so if the lights won't turn on, just try different outlets, that's what I did! But apart from that these lights work amazingly, I make YouTube videos and they look so great on video and make everything come together, The umbrella for the umbrella lights are perfect, the tripod for the lights are pretty sturdy as well, my cats always rub against the tripod pretty rough but the tripod doesn't budge. But I would still be gentle with the lights don't toss them onto the ground and same goes for the tripod and umbrellas, they're still really fragile. These lights are great for beginner photographers or filmmakers, and To be honest, if you ever got really professional in filmmaking or photography you really wouldn't even need new lights, these lights are perfect! Only thing you would need to replace is the bowl with the ever ran out of energy! 5 stars👍🏼

I am an amateur photographer and needed a basic light kit to take yearbook photos for our homeschooling co-op. I borrowed a paper backdrop and backdrop stand from a friend and used this lighting kit. I faced the backdrop towards a window where diffused natural light was coming in. I changed the white balance settings on my Sony DSLR to compensate for the blue lighting in the flourescent light bulbs. I, as well as the staff in my homeschooling co-op were blown away by the difference these lights made on the photos. I would recommend this to anyone. What a great Christmas gift!!! Be sure to check out the you tube videos reviewing this product. They are very helpful. I am very impressed with how this product is made. Exceeded my expectations. The carrying case works perfectly. I hope you'll check out the yearbook pictures I took with this lighting kit.

I use this setup for product photography for my online shop. Perhaps it's not super professional, but my camera is just basic. I think the lighting is great! I used to have to wait for natural light and my product photo opportunities were limited to time of day or season. Since using these, I can't believe I ever relied on the temperamental natural light of the Pacific Northwest! After configuring them in different ways, I figured out what works the best for me which is umbrellas toward my photo spot with lights facing inside umbrellas. The smaller, lower lamp, also is diffused by the umbrella. I still edit my photos to lighten them, but with this equipment, I can finally get a level of lighting that works well and is consistent. As for the issues others are having: I would say that I don't leave these on long enough for overheating. The longest I left them on was maybe 20 minutes and I noticed no heating. I also don't change the height or angle very much so I have no experience with the screws stripping or parts failing. I also leave the equipment up and don't need to put it away so I have no experience toting it around everywhere. It doesn't look like that would be hard to do though. If you have to leave the lights on super long, move the height and angle around constantly and need to lug it all over and put it up and take it down frequently, I would say, be careful or maybe buy higher quality stuff that can handle the wear and tear. If you are like me and have a little product photography corner in your home or business where you fit in a bit of photography here and there in your life, it's perfect and can change the way you do business. I'm so happy I can finally take product photos whenever I want rather than waiting for a sunbreak! I'm far more productive thanks to this equipment and it's paid for itself manifold!

For the price and for someone trying to start out small in building a studio these things are amazing! I took this photo using these lights!
