Good professional looking case for the poor student.

I got this because I started a summer law internship and needed something that I could carry all my junk in, glasses, lunch, umbrella, etc., but also look professional. This bag meets the bill perfectly as a man purse.

Great value

Fantastic little case, especially for less than $20. I've used it for over six months and all continues to work well. very light and roomy, and I tend to overload my briefcases. There are no interior compartments and there is one large (half of one side) zippered compartment.

perfect size to carry school books

perfect size to carry school books, binder for a classroom as a teacher. my hubby 2nd time purchasing this item cause he overused the bag. we even kept the old bag and now use it in our closet for items to hold.

Best option I have found for personal carry on item for international flights.

Just an FYI if you are traveling internationally the carry on rules are much different than most US carriers, also they are stricter and often will force you to check one of your bags. This is the only bag that maximizes the available space without going over. Only two things could make it better 1) if it had a loop to slide over the handle of your roller-board. 2) if it was 12" high instead of 11" this would give you the absolute max space and still not go over the carry on rules. FYI most non US carriers allow 16" X 12" X 6" max personal item.

Perfect for a 2-3 days of travel.

Easily fits under Frontier and American Airlines seats. Side pocket keeps papers and small things corralled and accessible. Large zippered pocket easily holds a pair of jeans, 2 or 3 shirts and socks and underwear. Throw in a laptop or pair of shoes, too. It may not last for years for the frequent traveler set, but for the price, who cares. All the extra padding and seam reinforcing and pockets and straps take up a lot of room that can't be used for travel essentials.

Room enough for laptop and parts. Even enough room for a change of clothes. Fits easily under airplane seats and meets size requirements for a personal item. Sturdy and held up very well.

Under the seat

Worked for frontier airlines as an under the seat carry-on. I've already used this on a couple trips and it's held up nicely.

True to size for persobal item on plane

True to size, plenty of room. Cardboard insert is pointless and should have a hard plastic between the fabric instead, but didn't effect its use. I used it to carry my wedding dress on plane as personal item.

You will save enough on baggage fees to justify this purchase!

I bought a roundtrip ticket at a very deep discount however part of the reason for the low cost is the baggage restricition. I was not allowed to bring any carry-on and was allowed only under seat storage. In order to be sure that I complied with the airline definition of under seat stprage dimensions I bought this item. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this item plus the durability of its fabric. I can avoid any baggage penalties now which in itself justifies the cost of this item.

JUST BUY THIS BAG

Excellent bag - ideal size, quality and price. This bag works great has a business brief case/laptop bag, and has a travel/overnight bag. The cardboard bottom is high quality (covered in nylon AND useful as a bottom OR a divider. Shoulder strap is padded nicely with smart looking logo and overall the bag is just the right size and looks more expensive than it is.
