I absolutely love this cookware! Right off the bat I burned some sauce in one of the pans-I know, just my luck-but no big deal. I followed the directions and it cleaned up perfectly! I have never had food cook so evenly as it does in this cookware and clean up is a breeze. If you are a stickler for spots then you will want to wash and dry as directed. If are like me and bought them to cook in and are NOT worried about having spots, then wash them, dry them, and put them away...use them when you need them. I will give you a bit of a warning about the lids...they do get hot...not real hot. I suggest that you use a pot-holder when lifting off the lids if you have sensitive fingers (I don't but my guest said she thought it was too hot without a pot-holder). Also, DO NOT use this cookware on high heat...there's really no need...that's how I burned the sauce. I haven't used anything above medium-high and everything has turned out perfect!

I recently purchased this set from a local department store, and when I got home I was curious to see what the reviews were on Amazon. I was a little worried when I read the negative comments about the cookware burning and food sticking and even trouble just boiling water. However, when I opened the box and actually read the short pamphlet about how to care for this product I saw that the FIRST thing it mentions is to NEVER cook or boil anything at HIGH HEAT. You are only supposed to go from low to medium. This because the way this cookware is designed, it heats up very fast and very hot with only the minimal heat settings. So, medium on a stove would be the equivalent of high heat. It makes sense that some people may have simply overlooked this, and started boiling water, cook steak etc, on high heat and then been confused as to why things were burning.

Great cookware! I owned an 11.5 inch skillet for 5 years before buying this set. These are excellent. They hold up well as long as you take care of them. Do not recommend washing these in dishwasher. You really shouldn't put any pots and pans in the dishwasher if you want them to last. Barkeepers Friend takes out any staining and shines them up. Buy the powder version as it works better. This is excellent cookware for the price.

I love this cookware, surprisingly. I was hesitant to buy the set because it is not non-stick of course. That has not been a problem however. If frying, make sure the pan is hot enough before adding meat and no problems. I can also soak it for about an hour and then it washes clean like any other pan. Very good quality, stovetop to oven with ease, no drip sides, flat bottoms for electric stoves. These are also heavy enough that they sit well on the range without too much movement. I still have my other pans that are non-stick, but only use them for cooking an egg or something like that. Most of my cooking is now with the pots and pans in this set, particularly because you must not use too high of heat with many of the non-stick pans anyway. Sometimes I really need high heat. So glad I took a chance on these. Bought them on sale for just under $100. I would buy them again.

I was looking at stainless cookware to replace my old Magnalite set. (Which cooks beautifully and is still like new after almost 40 years, but I wanted to get past aluminum.) I’d been dreaming of All-Clad copper core, but dreading the price. Then I tried an All-Clad 12” skillet and realized that it’s just too damn heavy for the way I like to toss and sauté, especially since the handles are not at all ergonomic for my hands, and therefore hard for me to grip. A while back I picked up a Cuisinart stainless sauce pan that I like a lot, so when I saw this set at such a great price, I decided to go for it. I trust the brand because I’ve had their food processors, mixers and toasters over the years and been happy with all of them. It does take a little getting used to because it conducts heat so efficiently that you’ll need to work with a lower flame. I use the ‘hot wok, cold oil’ rule of Chinese cooking and haven’t had any sticking issues. Nor, unlike some reviewers, have I experienced any trouble cleaning the Cuisinart pans. So, five stars. The entire set was about the price of one All-Clad pan, and it includes the right pieces for my style of cooking. I love the look, so much, in fact, that I just bought a pot rack to hang the set above the stove. Convenient and good looking.

After looking at many different brands, the Cuisinart offered everything I was looking for! There are several pieces and each piece has a lid. The lids are glass which I wanted as well. Nice to view food while cooking. They have stay-cool handles and the cookware is, on the whole, not heavy. It is beautiful in appearance and very functional. It was a hard decision to buy new after using my original stainless steel for over 50 years but I couldn't be more pleased!

This is pretty decent quality cookware for the price point. I previously used KitchenAid stainless cookware and was happy with it. This cookware has a more smoothly polished interior than my old set and that really helps with sticking and cleaning. There were some complaints from older reviews about the lids shattering - no such issues with that here at all so far. I also noted some issues mentioned with the rivets rusting. I don't use a dishwasher and drip dry my pans on a rack - I haven't seen any issues with the rivets thus far though I have only been using this set for a couple of weeks now. The handles have no insulation on them, but they haven't gotten hot yet either, so I consider the design to be good. I like that there are volume graduations inside the pans - that's a nice touch. The heft is good without being too heavy for the average user. Heating is very even and they cook really well. So far, I have no complaints with this set - particularly for the price. I would definitely recommend it.

These pots and pans are tops. We've done a lot of cooking in them now, and I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. The bottoms are nice and solid with good heat transfer and very flat for good conduction from the burners. If you don't screw up and scorch food to pans, they clean up pretty easily; and I've not seen any sign of rusting despite having left them in the sink once or twice over night. I don't know about pro-quality, but if you love to cook at home, you will not be disappointed with this cookware set.

I looked for a long time to find a set of pots and pans to replace a 5-6 year old set that... didn’t age well! I’m hard on cookware, and I know that. I need durability - my 6 year old likes to help me cook. I need dishwasher safe - a must in my house. I don’t need nonstick - my old set is peeling up. I need good quality - a good set of pots and pans is an investment! So I did research because I’m on a budget and never want to spend an outrageous amount of money. I actually came across this product while shopping at Kohl’s one weekend and liked what I saw. Helps that they have a display out and I can feel the weight and see the construction before committing! I really liked them and they were on a big sale... only $220 after all my coupons and sale prices! So I called my hubby to get his thoughts and he typed the info into Amazon and found the same set much cheaper. Done deal! It’s been a several weeks cooking with these, so here is my experience. PROS: - Lots of pans and pots for the $$. - Heavy construction with solid riveting between handle and main body. - Lids are glass and easy to clean. - All skillets are able to move to the oven! Big bonus for me! - Cooking surface heats evenly and fairly quickly. - Super deep sided sauté pan makes a great one pan dinner maker! By far my favorite piece of this set!! - Clean easily. I use a scrub sponge and haven’t had too much trouble. I do tend to let difficult stuff soak overnight though in hot soapy water. CONS: - Largest skillet and sauté pan do not fit in my dishwasher well... pretty much have to hand wash these. - Cooking at high heat, I have noticed some discoloration on the cooking surface of the skillets. This doesn’t bother me at all, it is the “rainbow” effect of the high heat on the stainless. In the end, no brainer. I’d happily buy this set again! High quality on a budget price point!

I just received my set and opened it. I had read the previous reviews and they were mixed about what exactly came with the set. I watched the video of the set and that is not the set you will receive. There is no pasta strainer and they have glass lids unlike the ones in the video. The set is as pictured and listed so I wasn’t disappointed, but there seemed to be a “similar” set in the video. The one thing I noticed immediately that I was suprised and excited about is that all the saucepans have measurements on the inside, which I didn’t expect and I think is genius. Also the lids are interchangeable, so every pot and pan has a lid that fits it, even the steamer. I haven’t cooked with it yet but they seem very sturdy and good quality. I know a lot of people complained about how they looked after they cooked with them the first time, but that is not necessarily a concern of mine since I was looking for durability in a set that would last me a long time. It is a beautiful set of cookware and I hope to be using it many years from now.
