Look, I'm a little on the OCD side so I'm not one to just throw another's belongings in a box. These wardrobe boxes were perfect for clearing out my husbands thing in a neat, respectful manner. At first I thought "Umm how is this box going to hold up a metal rod and heavy clothing without tearing?!" But IT DID!! So freakin sturdy and these are big suits of a 360lb man so just take me at my word. The price originally scared me but gotta do what you gotta do and they were well worth every penny!

Great quality. They didn't skimp on the box thickness and the bars were thick metal so there was no way they would bend from the weight of clothes. We even had to turn these on their side during the move and nothing fell off the bar. 10/10 would buy again.

I am actually in the middle of my moving process and had to stop to leave a review for these wardrobe boxes, which I never do. I just find leaving reviews too time consuming, but in this case, I HAD to make an exception for these. I've honestly never used wardrobe boxes before for a personal move, for I always assumed they were for moving companies only, or just thought they were just too cumbersome to bother with. Boy, was I wrong! My thinking was that I would spring for these and use them to store my out-of-season clothing after the move was completed. But I read some reviews prior that had me wary of my purchase, so I was doubtful they would survive the first trip. The photo you see is a full load of full-length dresses, plus 4-5 full-length, heavy robes stuffed in the bottom of the box. This is after the wardrobe box had been moved to the new home and opened to see how the clothes had shifted, which you can see there is very little. The metal bar holds all different types of hangers, as shown, I have an eclectic collection..lol. The box itself never gave way to the weight of the clothes, which was most surprising to me because I thought for certain the holes where the bar is inserted would at least tear some during transit. Now, we did not move far with these boxes, perhaps 10 minutes one way. That may have made the difference in wear and tear in the lack of break down of our boxes, but I honestly think these boxes would hold up to long distance travel. I highly recommend these wardrobe boxes for anyone looking for something to store hanging clothes to move/store. You will not be disappointed, I promise you.

A little expensive, but worth it

These wardrobes came in handy when I needed to move. I used to just pile all of my closet clothes into big, black plastic trash bags, but these Uboxes Wardrobes made moving my closets hassle-free. It was very easy to assemble the boxes, and the clothes hanger is sturdy metal. They held an entire closet full of clothes, and they were very strong and durable. They held up to two moves already!

Large Wardrobe Boxes

The boxes were very well made. They made my cross country move with no mishaps. They were very sturdy. I packed my clothing hangers and all in 2 of the wardrobes. The third wardrobe I packed with large items and bedding. If not packing clothing on hangers make sure to still use the hanger bar. This will keep your wardrobe sturdy.

BEST wardrobes I’ve seen in many moves!

Holds much more than ones from cross country mover. VERY sturdy! We taped all the seams as boxes are temporarily going to storage, and will put a cedar block in the bottom of each box. These also cost less than the ones sold by national moving companies.

Extra Closet for my Small Apartment

The boxes are as stated. Sturdy cardboard. Shipping prompt and as promised. No hassle putting them together. I did as suggested by another which is to position the box before packing. The cross bar which the clothes hang from is sturdy metal and stays in place. However, just be aware that the bar, though metal, is still supported by the cardboard box. The bar will not bend, but the cardboard will give and the bar will not hang right. I did this with one of the three. I more evenly distributed the weight between the three boxes and put the "ripped" one in the middle, which supported the bar. These are great for my intended purpose and I am very satisfied with the product. Not enough room in my closet. I lined these up along one wall to hang my closet over-flow stuff. I leave one flap down and take clothes in and out like a regular closet. Not as tall, but works well for my shirts and slacks, and other shorter clothing pieces. I like these better than the metal ones because these don't tip over or skew.

A way to move and store clothes that we never knew existed. These wardrobe boxes were great

We have been in our house for 20 years. With the kids gone it was time for painting and nicer flooring. We used PODs for the furniture but what to do with the closets full of clothes. These boxes assembled easily, were sturdy enough even for heavy coats. When filled there was even a lid built in. We did tape the boxes closed. We used a 2-wheel dolly to the PODs and back when the house was finished. The idea of either stacking or bagging and carrying lose clothes was to crazy to consider. These boxes worked great. All of the boxes we ordered arrived on time, in perfect condition and the Amazon guys put them right where we asked him to. Well done.

Good size and sturdiness

These don't hold so much you can't lift them, but they hold enough. Like the fact that they aren't really tall. Came in a ox so they weren't dented and torn. Only negative is the bar across the top doesn't really sit down on the ends so you can't get a good flat seal when you close the top.

Highly durable - definitely recommend !

A bit on the expensive side but extremely durable and probably the best purchase I made for my move. Makes a closet move an absolute breeze. Boxes are extremely thick and sturdy more than a normal cardboard box and the metal rails are thick and can hold many many heavy clothes.
