Bypasses HDCP on PS4 as of 3/1/2019
I bought this device explicitly for the purpose of bypassing HCDP on my PlayStation 4 and the splitter did so without hesitation. Of course, I didn't do it to pirate content but because my PS4 had a serious miscommunication with my 2007 Gateway monitor and decided to completely block the signal. After trying every method in the book to resolve the issue I finally started researching HDCP bypass and here I am. I went back and forth between several products checking customer Q&A plus reviews and finally settled to buy this puppy and it worked like a charm. The outer casing itself is completely made out of metal with a Philips screw holding the rear panel latch in place. It has three LED's located on the sides indicating which port is active at any given moment. You definitely feel (and see) quality with this purchase.

Wireless HDMI Splitter
This does work. Slight picture degradation. Lag time is noticeable at times. Main TV picture degradation is noticeable and remote TV picture degradation is noticeable. I will experiment with another splitter that is wired to the main TV that I know there is no degradation to the main TV. I can live with the degradation and Lag on the second TV. I purchased a second receiver and will evaluate that performance intended for a 3rd TV. The 2nd and 3rd TV are solely for convenience for a short time viewing. Whereby the main tv is for my real TV watching. The positive outcome for me is Im not paying for a second or 3rd receiver charge whether cable or Satellite. Otherwise HDMI over ethernet is the way to go when I have time to run wires.

Perfect for enjoying the Firestick in two separate rooms.
I bought this primarily for the purpose of splitting the signal of an Amazon FireStick into two different adjoining rooms. My office and living room televisions are on the same wall opposite sides back to back. I carefully went through all the reviews to make sure that this device would meet that purpose. I simply opened the box after receiving it and plugged in the FireStick to the splitter input and output to two HDMI cables ran to the televisions. I plugged in the power cord for the splitter and the usb block for the Firestick . I powered on both televisions and set them to the correct HDMI port and right away the Amazon Home Screen came up on both televisions and the remote worked fine when going from one room to the other. Cheaper option than paying for two devices when I really only needed to split the outgoing signal to two separate televisions. I can only attest to the current function but the real benefit will be reaped by the longevity of the device.

Simple, easy to set up and works well
I purchased this splitter to both simultaneously display video output from my Canon T7i camera, as well as stream video via a ChromeCast to two monitors in my rehearsal space. For less than twenty bucks I was able to accomplish that. Set-up was as simple as plugging in the HDMI cables and power supply. I was a little confused about the tiny switch that has two modes: Copy and Auto. I selected Auto and everything worked. The instructions are not nearly as useful as the product description on this product page. The unit is fairly small. I plan to glue some Velcro on the bottom of the case and affix it to one of my monitor stands. Bottom line: I am pleased with both the price and ease of use and awarded it five solid stars accordingly.

Negates HDCP, worth the money
Straight to the point this HDMI splitter negates HDCP meaning you can capture things like PS3 and even cable via HDMI. Naturally you can have dual Viewing experiences(1 feed to 2 Screens) as well unlike some other splitters Definitely worth buying, my only issue is the clutter factor. Need at 3 HDMI cables and the splitter has a corded power adapter and if you're using something like an elgato to capture stuff it's even more cord clutter. If you're gonna buy this just be mindful of the clutter this will create and the fact the splitter needs to be powered via outlet

Powered HDMI Splitters
Right now, we use only 2 Splitters - ViewHD 2 Port 1x2 Powered HDMI Mini Splitter & OREI HD-102 1x2 1 Port HDMI Powered Splitter. We're using two of each. They work! And both appear to be the same Device, different paint job. We're always looking for HDMI Splitters. As long as these work, no need to get firmware hacked HDFury HDMI Splitters from China. BTW: All of this gear is made in China. Anyway... These Powered HDMI Mini Splitters can also be Rack Mounted. We've found 2 ways - Compression Shelf or DIN Rail Mounts. The Rack Mount Compression Shelf is less expensive. We currently use Middle Atlantic OCAP-2 2U Vented Clamping Rack Shelf. We have 4 HDMI Splitters Rack Mounted and wired into a Monoprice HDMI Patch Panel. We can reconfigure, on the fly, for whatever a Presentation requires, our HDMI Splitters. Getting Power to 4 HDMI Splitters was more difficult. Solution: USB Power! Currently using Cargis 6 Port USB Charger & StarTech 3 foot USB to Type M Barrel 5V DC Power Cables. Works! Hope this helps!

OREI HD-104 1x4 4 Ports HDMI Powered Splitter
this is a great little black box to use when you need to split your (HMDI) signal to several (TV) units .... we have four monitors located in different rooms .... the output source had only one connection (HMDI) available and this splitter solved the issue of getting the video to all four televisions without having to change connections to the source depending on which room was being used .... now all four rooms can be utilized at the same time without having to unplug and plug cables in at the source ,,,, we originally added cables to each room so we could switch as needed ... now they are all plugged into the splitter which eliminated the need to swap them out at the source .... it's been working for a week now, and we are happy with the results

Could not be simpler to output to two screens (but not for extended desktop)
It does exactly it says it does, and the setup could not be simpler. If your mission is to put out the IDENTICAL screen image to two (2) screens, but, like most, your portable device has only the single HDMI port, this is a great solution. It is truly plug-n-play. If you are seeking to EXTEND THE DESKTOP by having two (2) monitors, then this product is NOT the answer. You will only get the same image on the two screens if you use this. If you need to extend the desktop and have only one (1) HDMI port, what you need is a USB adapter (e.g., HDMI to USB, DVI to USB, etc.).

Worked on a PS3
The HD-102 allowed me to live stream a PS3 into a capture card and then to Twitch bypassing HDCP. It allowed me to play Blu-Ray discs into my capture card also. So obviously it did what I wanted. Previously my old HP2335 monitor could only accept component from the PS3, so I bet this will allow the digital video. I will also use it like intended at some point and do double monitor for color proofs. I believe I should be able to use devices I own the way I need to. This product is a lifesaver.

Have not had any issues with it. I am ...
Have not had any issues with it in the 3.5 months i have had it. I also have the 1x4 hdmi splitter in another room that I am running 3 tvs without an issue to one hd cable box. All TV's are 1080 as some reviews stated that if you have a 720 and 1080 on the splitter, it will run at 720. I am currently using 5 of the HDMI splitters in my entertainment center hooked up to my one hd cable box and all work flawlessly with no sound loss between the TV's. I also picked up a cable splitter so that each tv can have a separate game or screen on and just mute the exterior TV's. I have this hooked up also to my surround sound and there have been no issues as well. Thinking of trying to see if a wireless hdmi kit will work with it with my patio tv approx 60 feet away instead of running hdmi cable.
