The smell is pretty awesome too

This product is definitely my go to for any after tattoo care. It's non-petroleum based, so you don't get that greasy residue lingering on your skin. I have used the on several tattoos and had NO itching at all and it healed perfectly. The smell is pretty awesome too.

BEST aftercare I've used...I'm on my 8th-ish tattoo now and this is by far the fastest I've healed (and the biggest piece I've had done, so far, so I think that says a LOT). Can't go wrong with this stuff. Will DEFINITELY use for all future ink!

Awesome product for tattoo healing!!!

Best product for healing up your tattoo. Using just a little bit, two times per day heals a tattoo perfectly. I pay $20 for a bottle this size at my tattoo studio. Also, my dog scratched me in the face, and I used After Inked on the scratch and I feel like the scratch healed faster. I love this product because it's like putting regular lotion on. It's not greasy at all, and my hands dry quickly after application. I would HIGHLY recommend this product for people with new tattoos because it doesn't mess up your clothing at all, it's comfortable, and it works!

Works good and smells amazing

My tattoo artist of 14 years recommended this to me and all my friends and family has used it since. We always make sure to keep it in stock in our house. I have a compromised immune and I'm highly sensitive to most products. I also work in an Emergency Room so I come in contact with a lot of nasty stuff. So it's vital that I am able to protect my open wounds with a product that is Non-Petroleum based, Paraben-Free, Fragrance-Free, Vegan, Cruelty-Free, Gluten-Free. My gauze and wraps never stuck when I used this product and my tattoo's healed beautifully.

NO ITCHING!!! BEST AFTERCARE PRODUCT OUT THERE!!!

I have never given a product 5 stars ever. I have tried other tattoo aftercare products...this is by far the best product out there. I had two sleeves done. I used another product on one arm. That arm itched like crazy. I think this is worse than getting the actual tattoo. The pain from the tattoo is brief, but the itching afterwards seems like forever!! I used After Inked on the other sleeve. I had no itching whatsoever. I did not think this was even possible! I will be using this product on all my future tattoos. I recommended this product to all my friends. You will not be disappointed with this product.

Helped heal my two large lower arms tattoos. Started using it about 7 days after getting tattooed, twice daily. Does it's job and feels AMAZING!

Not only does this moisturizing ointment do it's job, but it smells amazing, as well! After Inked left my fresh tattoo feeling moisturized and protected without being too oily or sticky- It also lasted way longer than I was expecting, before feeling like I needed to reapply. I would definitely recommend to anyone with fresh ink- or stocking up beforehand.

What a great product

Finally a lotion that I can use on very sensitive skin. I have been suffering from mild psoriasis for a while now, And i'm able to use this one my forehead without it irritating it. This stuff was a god send, My tattoo buddy gave it to me after I got my last tattoo's. I had tried it out on my hands and face with the extra that I had out of the sample pack fell in love. So I ended up ordering the tube of it, Thought it was kinda pricey but a little goes a long way so in theory its not. Im happy to have accidentally find this product! Great for your tattoo's or everyday care. Thanks after inked for such an awesome product!

Holy Grail product, Batman!

This is the best after tattoo product I've ever used! And I've tried everything, A and D ointment, Aquiphore, (sp? on all things) and tattoo goo. I washed my tattoo with Neutrogena original face wash (which is extremely gentle) and after I dab my tattoo with a towel I spread this on and magic happens! My tattoo doesn't stick to clothes that night, it doesn't crust, it doesn't seep gooey stuff all over your bed either! I applied it every day after I had my tattoo done and it only flaked a little on the eight day! I still applied it but it saved me from so much itching, scratching, stains on my clothing, sticking to my clothing, and infection since it didn't rip open and have anything foreign get into it. I have a full sleeve on my left arm and I wish I would have known about this product a long time ago! I'm working on the right side of my back and my right arm to sleeve it out! I will forever swear by this product! I hope this helps!

Amazing stuff. Truly amazing. If you've got tattoos you need this.

I am relatively new to tattoos and until now have been pretty horrible about taking care of them. I used that dreadful greasy stuff on my first two tattoos and because it was so greasy and non absorbing it would get on everything and I found that even though it kept my tattoos nice and hydrated during the healing process, I was loathe to use it. No one told me about the itching stage of tattoos and oh my god did I go nuts with the itching. My first tattoo I wanted to rip my skin off. Between the itchiness and that greasy ointment I was ready to scream. How is it that so many people have tattoos and no one talks about the itching? My friends don't have tattoos and they all think I am nuts for getting them. Of course the question I get most often is "didn't it hurt?" NO, IT DIDN'T HURT! But I want to scream "but it itches like a mother________" That's the real problem. After my fourth tattoo session (I'm just building on the original tattoo) someone recommended this after inked product so I gave it a try. Oh My God, what a difference.... It is not at all greasy, absorbs into the skin and leaves the tattoo hydrated for hours. HOURS! My tattoos look richer and brighter than ever, and my new tattoo healed with hardly an itch and it was the largest tattoo section of all of them. Unbelievable. Truly unbelievable. I never would have imagined the side benefit of limiting the itchy phase to practically non existant. BOTTOM LINE: Maybe it seems a little bit pricey for what you are getting but believe me it is absolutely worth it. Non greasy, a little bit goes a long way, absorbs into the tattoo and keeps it moist, can be used immediately after tattooing and during all phases of the healing process, AND KEEPS THE ITCHY PHASE TO A MINIMUM. I can't say enough good things about it.
