Why take your jewelry to a jeweler to determine what karat your jewelry is when you can do it right in your home. Its easy to understand, determine and results are great! There are a lot of people that are fooled by what they buy and now here is a piece of equipment to give them the reassurance they bought what they paid for. Its a great tool to have around especially if you deal in jewelry all the time. You can own the same type of equipment that you pay a fortune for a jeweler to tell you that its 14K Gold, etc. I highly recommend!

purcashed this because my husband and i started buy lots of flea mkt items and junk boxes at auctions. there was always jewery in the stuff and i was never sure of content. Well after reading the instructions and watching some you tube videos i now have confidence in my abilities to find the real stuff. Is really interesting and good quality product to start learning fine jewelry identification.

I am really starting learning to use this kind of tools that’s why is a little bit hard for me to compare them with any other similar product and say what is good or not good about them. In over all I am comfortable learning with them for me they are really good for starting my learning about Jewelry identifying quality and different metals and also semiprecious stones.

Even more than I expected

I purchased this as a replacement for my old kit that was unfortunately destroyed in a tragic accident... Well maybe not tragic but it was destroyed. I didn't really read the discription for this when I bought it. I just looked and made sure all the things I needed were included. Everything was there and more. I wasn't expecting a counterfeit bill pen. The scale is better than the one I had and I still don't know how they packed all that stuff in the packaging. It arrived on time and all intact. I'm happy to be able to do testing again.
