These come out fine from the dishwasher

I have used this set for almost 2 years now. My husband carries lunch in the smallest two containers (along with a Pyrex 3 cup rectangle container). I use the other two for storing food in the refrigerator. After reading reviews of dishes exploding I have been a little wary and never put these in the oven. These come out fine from the dishwasher. I have never had any issues with the lids. With time the lids do get beat up but Amazon sells replacement lids so replacing those would be easy. I got this set for $15 and it has been a good investment.

Excellent & Worth 5 stars!

Glad I bought this set. Love the handles and quality. My husband has come to loathe plastic and is going for all glass now. Makes me crazy since it's heavy and I'm a klutz. But truth be told, it stores food so perfectly, easy to see and the well-fitting lids store and can be 'burped' like other products to keep contents extra fresh. Deserves 5 stars!

One of the best bakeware sets out there

Pyrex always produces top-notch products. I own three of these sets. While I also own metal baking pans, I always find myself reaching for these first. They are heavy-duty and look great for serving. I love the lids, as I can just pop leftovers straight in the fridge without having to transfer them to another container. All in all, this is one of the best bakeware sets out there.

Great So Far

I've only had these for a couple of weeks, and I've only used them twice so far. I'll definitely update if I also experience the "shattering" everybody is talking about. However, thus far, they've been just fine! I've really enjoyed having them around and being able to bake things, and then store them in the same container. They also clean in a snap, and as long as you use olive oil or butter the excess grime slides right off.

Love Pyrex

Love pyrex. The two glass pans are exactly as depicted on line, the tops fit snugly and store neatly together. Also the price on Amazon was the lowest I could find. I have used them several times now for a variety of recipes. And have taken them from refrigerator to oven for reheating without incident. They also wash up quickly by hand or in the dishwasher. And I like how coordinated my leftovers look in the refrigerator. I have stopped using plastic containers and switched over to glass for food safety and ease of use. I would recommend these items to anyone.

Glass is better for you than plastic

These are absolutely fantastic! I got rid of ALL of my plastic and switched to using mostly glass. I know these have plastic lids, but it is difficult to find anything to store food without plastic. But with these, my main goal was to not have our food sitting and absorbing plastic. And since the lid doesn't have to touch the food, unless you fill it up, then I have accomplished my goal. I was also able to do with a lot less containers in general by switching to glass. I was really surprised that I didn't need another set. I did also purchase a set of stainless steel bowls for mixing and popcorn and things like that.

Purchased this Pyrex bake/storage set for my very dear friend who lost her home to a fire. She, her husband, and little dog are living in an apartment until their home is rebuilt. They needed everything and she has since let me know that she loved the set and is using it regularly. I have always been a fan of anything Pyrex and she has also. The color is nice and she especially liked the fact that it had a lid and you can also store things in same. As always, thanks Amazon.

As always, Pyrex continues to impress me with their high quality glass products. This set has been excellent to have and my wife and I recommend them for every household. The lids for the 2 and 3 quart oblong dishes are different than what we're used to and were kind of hard to put on the first couple of times but after that we have grown to love the design. These are MUCH better to use for storing leftovers and reheating than the plastic containers are. They don't stain or discolor when you put lasagna or taco meat in them, like many of our plastic ones have, and they come preheated, making them oven, microwave, fridge, freezer & dishwasher safe which is basically everything that our plastic ones are not. After washing they don't leave behind any residue food smells. We've run them through the dishwasher, thrown them in the oven and used them in the microwave already and they've performed excellently so far. Haven't tested them out in the freezer yet but I'm sure they'll hold up just fine like they always do. As a note of interest, take a look at this consumer report that demonstrates the difference between soda-lime and borosilicate glass bake ware. No better food storage set

You cannot go wrong with Pyrex anywhere in your kitchen. For baking sheets or food storage, there is no contest. Your Tupperware will get lonely with how often you forget to use them over the sturdy reusable glass options! One thing I did notice was that some of these seem to be composed of different materials. Some have a greenish tint/hue at an angle, whereas some others are very clear. Functionality-wise, there is no noticable difference. Everything works as you'd expect!

So Far So Good!

I have a lot of Pyrex glassware so I didn't bother reading the reviews. The spontaneous combustion is concerning lol but so far I haven't had any issues! I love the lids. They're not as snug as I'd like them to be but I think they'll work just fine in transportation. I love that Pyrex puts the dimensions & description on the lids. The packaging was a bit much...they didn't come in a box like I had expected. They can wrapped in adhesive bubble wrap. shatted my Pyrex liquid measuring cut in the process of getting this bubble wrap off. It wasn't easy, even with scissors. Don't attempt to open with stuff on the countertop or you'll wind up breaking something like me. I'm very satisfied with these dishes and plan to purchase additional!
