Very tricky to get the top attachment threaded(the grip gets in the way when you try to draw slack to work with), but once attached and sized it fits perfect. The wristband can be attached one-handed as they mentioned, attaches and releases from the grip easily, and gives a solid sense of security that the camera is safe. The passthrough on the tripod attachment is great, I personally used it to stack another anchor(for a shoulderstrap), so my camera is ready for any occassion; I can use the shoulderstrap+grip, or use the quickrelease on the shoulderstrap(an item sold separately if it wasn't clear) and attach the wristband of this item for a snag free shooting experiece. This was my plan from the time I placed the order and it worked out great.

You will need to adjust this so you can get to your shutter button. One of the photo shows it when I have it tight but my finger is restricted by the strap when it’s tight. Also using this without the wrist strap doesn’t make it feel secure. The padding doesn’t hug the back of the hand with out it because of the padding’s design and where the strap runs through. You will not be able to use the vertical shutter release on an extended grip. I will keep this for when I don’t use the extended grip but will purchase a neck or shoulder strap.

This nifty Little contraption has been a godsend for me. I sometimes have bouts with arthritis and other pain which makes it more for teaching for me to hold my camera. Having the ability to strap the camera on to my wrist makes it much easier for me to point-and-shoot what I need to do and get that detailed shot I’m looking to get. I also have the matching camera bag which I absolutely adore is well! Great buy!!!

Good product for what it is for. Was able to secure my camera with large lens to my hand and wrist as I was trying to photograph over a fence. I felt confident that I wasn't going to loose it over the fence where I would not been able to get my equipment back. The only thing that is a little odd for me is just trying to unfasten and refasten the clip to the wrist strap. This will just take some time to get use to.

I bought this for a trip to Europe and used it every day for three weeks on a Sony A99 with a Tamron 16-300 hyper-zoom lens. Not a lightweight rig but the strap held it all very securely and was comfortable to use and wear even on multi-hour excursions or when running through the streets of Koln to get back to the boat. My only complaint is that I have small hands and wrists and could not get it tight enough to really suit me. Other than that I was very pleased with my purchase and I intend to use it more often rather than a neck strap. It made for a far more enjoyable experience always having the camera to hand and ready to use.

Recently I bought a Black Widow Spider holster kit and quickly realized that I needed a hand strap to go with it. I've never particularly like a neck strap and looked through many types of hand straps before coming to this one. I'm so happy with it, especially as I can use it with and without the wrist strap. It easily adjusted to my hand size and will let me easily attach or detach the wrist strap.

Why didn't I think of that? That's what I always say to my wife when someone comes up with a great Idea! I have so much more control over my Cannon T4i now that I have this great wrist strap. With my bad back and neck issues this is a nice and safe alternative that protects my investment. I really wanted to keep my neck strap attached to the right side as well, but that was not possible, but since I have a Cannon battery grip also installed there is an attachment on the bottom that I used to re-attach the neck strap to so that I can still have that option. I just so happened to be on another site and saw that Nikon sells a similar set-up (A "Hand Strap") for $60.00 that's insane! Thank you Accessory Genie for allowing us "common folk" to afford added options for our DSLR's and also the Blow cleaner and Micro cloth!

I absolutely love this! I have petite hands and my Rebel T7i is kinda big for them so I always worry if my palms sweat ill drop it. I have a neck strap but its so infuriating when trying to do macro when I am crawling around or leaning off an edge to get a good picture. It's very soft feels really nice around my wrist gives me a good sense of security. I like the clasp that you can unbuckle for easy "letting go" while still wearing the wrist strap. And the pattern is very nice too!

note from the photo that I added a quick release clip to the side loop. The bottom of this grip screws to the tripod socket, so it comes off easily, but for the top, it required lacing & unlacing the strap. I'm glad I had this clip from an older camera neck strap.

This thing is great. Personally I'm not a fan of the traditional neck strap that comes with most cameras - something about all that weight bouncing around, the swinging, the potential for absolute disaster. I usually have the camera in hand with the neck strap wrapped around my wrist. With this strap I have a more secure hold on my camera which allows me to get a little more ridiculous with shoots. The strap loops through the standard strap eyelet and has another piece which screws into the 1/4 inch jack at the bottom of most cameras. You can then screw a tripod head into that. Very versatile. Fits well on my Nikon D-3300.
