Natural and Silky Lip Balm

I found out a few years ago that I was allergic to petroleum products, hence no more Chapstick for me. Thanks goodness for Burt's Bees lip balm! It's one of the few things that gets my lips through the winter. Instead of using petroleum, it uses bees wax, plus other fats -- coconut oil, olive oil, sunflower seed oil, avocado oil, shea butter, plus many more. Some of the oils, such as orange and vanilla,are for fragrance. It goes on smoothly with a silken feel. I find that I have to apply it slightly more often than I do with a petroleum product because it is more readily absorbed, but given the natural ingredients, I feel much better about having this kind of product on my lips. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Sweet relief!!!

I got a cold and for some reason my lips got super duper chapped. Like I had tiny scabs on my lip line. More my upper lip but wow it was ridiculously painful. Perhaps the tissue dried my lips out? Who knows but I needed something quickly. I tried coconut oil, jojoba oil, Egyptian magic, honest healing ointment, other brands of chapstick and decided to try this. First swipe I was sold! It actually moisturized my lip not just sit on top doing nothing. I may have went overboard and also applied it under my nose...it hurts okay?! No judging. My chapped lips and raw nose thanks this product!!! (I bought the one with kokum butter in it)

Renewed Lips!!

This moisturizing lip balm with kokum butter is the creamiest and most effective that I've ever used! It took 2 days of frequent applications and then my flaky, dry lips were renewed!! Luxurious feel without that waxy tug and film that most lip balms have. I love this product :) I use it more often than I need to now because it just feels so good on my lips. Thank you, Burt's Bees, for bringing back my soft lips!

Best chapstick yet

I like everything about this lip "guard." Best to carry it, as it absorbs well; but it works, works well, and doesn't leave a sticky film and doesn't have an over-powering tacky scent!

PERFECT

I love Burt's Bees' products, but I go through chapstick a bit living in Colorado to avoid any painful lip mishaps. I saw this and thought I should try it! There is no scent assigned, but it still smells fresh. No weird tastes or material left behind after use. My lips are super smooth and stay smooth for hours! No weird smell after using it and no weird feelings.

The product is not waxy! It feels more oily than other Burt’s bees chapsticks I’ve used. It makes my lips look shiny. I like it. Sometimes I have to apply it twice in a matter of minutes but my lips tend to be stupid dry whether or not I’m well hydrated so I appreciate this product a lot. I keep it on the windowsill by my bed. I’m not particularly conscientious about my hygiene but I find myself using these tubes fully and frequently, which is rare for a chapstick (in my case anyway). There is only one other chapstick I’ve loved and it was pretty similar to this product. I’d recommend it to anyone with dry lips, who likes a shiny look and a hydrated feel.

Smooth applying. Nice healing quality

This is my go to when my lips hurt. I prefer kokum butter to beeswax. It goes on really smooth and covers my lips with product. No stinging, just smoothness. Not sure I buy the 4 hour protection, but it does last. Some may not like glossed lips. Those may prefer a beeswax lip balm. For me I appreciate the smooth texture and lack of waxy texture. Although this does contain beeswax, the Kokum butter makes the difference.

Really great

I got this chapstick to use throughout the day, it works really well. It feels good on the lips and helps bring them back to their beautiful luster. I pair it with Burt’s bees overnight balm.

Phoenix Heat = dry skin/lips!

Literally the only thing that heals my dry, chapped lips. Soft, moisturizing, nourishing and healing. I'm a big fan, and I've probably bought 50+ varieties, looking for the right one. Only wish there were flavored options!!

Smooth and very moisturizing

I really like how smooth and moisturizing this Burts Bees lip balm is! Some of the other Burt's Bees flavors that I've tried are hard to apply as they're too waxy. This one is awesome! I just wish it had a little bit more flavor to it, but I'm glad I got it and use it daily!
