Such a great kit for a beginner. Gives them everything they need to get started. The quality of the strings isn't great, but you can replace those pretty easily. The pitch pipe also isn't super impressive, but you really don't need it when you have the electric tuner (or you can just use an online tuner). The only complaint with this is that the strap was filthy when it arrived. Threw it in the washing machine and it was fine. Also, the strap is kind of small, so if it's a bigger kiddo or a grownup using it, you might have to get a different one. Overall though, this is a great inexpensive instrument to learn/practice on.

I ordered this for my daughter, she has small hands and a regular size guitar was too big and cumbersome for her. This however, is the PERFECT size, and it's really beautiful. She is thrilled with it, and it sounds GREAT. I am very happy with the purchase.

This is a great starter kit. The bag is junk, the accessories are cheap, and the guitar had a little ding in two spots, but for the price paid, it has great sound! We gave it as a gift to someone wanting to learn and they were very impressed. My son who has four, really liked the sound once he tuned it and let the strings stretch a little. The electronic tuner was also cool (we kept this and didn't include it with the gift :-0)

I ordered this for my friend. She is a breast cancer survivoe and anything I can do to give her joy is great. She told me she wanted to take up the guitar again and play with her mother. I also purchased several music books for her to practice with. The music came as described and better. The sheet music is easy to pull out of the book so she doesn't have to fold the book open. Only she discovered she needs to keep her right arm up in order to strum the guitar. Not something we thought about. Her rigth arm is very painsul to keep in the position for the guitar. She is determined to play however! She is a trooper!

Our granddaughter wanted a guitar but we were unsure how committed she would be to learning how to play. This is a nice package without a huge investment. We tuned it up and it sounds great. We got the black and it certainly looks and sounds like a much more expensive guitar. She flies here for the summers so the case was a nice addition for her to take it on the plane with her. Very pleased with this purchase.

In my case this is now sitting on the weight bench that I also don't use. But I don't feel very guilty about it because it was only $30. Its not fancy and it's not well made but if you want to learn and think that you might not stick with it long enough to invest in a real guitar, just buy the thing. The tuner and pick are useless and the strings aren't great but there are good free tuner apps and you can use a crappy pick to learn chords. If you have fat fingers learning chords is the trick, though.

My son wanted everything so instead I got him this guitar. He hasn't learned how to play anything except how to use the tuner which hasn't been tuned properly yet. Lol, it is small beginner guitar and it sounds more than adequate for his needs. Guitar vs Nike shoes... who won?

As a first for a nine year old who is exploring musical desires, I are very happy with the quality. The pink is very cute for a girl. The carrying bag is nice and easy to wipe clean but it does not have a real cushion to protect it from being placed on the ground. It does come with pick, pitch pipe, shoulder strap, digital E-tuner, and extra replacement strings. Sounds really great.

Where else can you get a sweet black guitar for this price? No where! If you actually know how to play guitar then you probably want to get something better. If you know nothing about playing guitar and just want one around that you can mess with then this is the one for you. It looks like a real guitar, feels like one and sounds like one as well. Of course I know nothing about guitars but I know that I now have one that and I didn't have to spend much to get it. It's really great considering the price. The case and tuner are pretty weak but who cares at this price. It did stink of paint for the first couple of weeks but the smell is gone now. I guess it was fresh from the factory. Anyway - this is a fantastic first guitar for someone who just wants to try it and not invest a crazy amount of money.

There are people some that are scrutinizing the guitar because it's "cheap", "doesn't stay tuned", and other complaints. The bottom line is that you're getting exactly what you expect you'll get with this guitar. Sure, the guitar and its materials may be cheap but it's functional and I opine a great beginner guitar for someone who is curious in trying it out. The reality is that learning guitar takes discipline and few have the chops to continue learning--so if there's a chance that you or whoever you plan on buying this guitar for may quit, you're better off saving some money. Be prepared to buy new strings.
