Not snap-on, but worth every penny.

I try to buy American made tools, but there is increasingly less selection and the costs are typically quite high for the intermittent use of a diyer. I already had a sunex 1/2 impact universal that truly impressed me at the price point, so I gave this kit a shot at the price. Very, very good quality. Much better than some other cheap Taiwanese impact sockets I have. Laser marked, better fit and finish and more durable coating. This is one of those times you can get away with saving some cash on a tool and not have buyer's remorse.

Cant beat it!!

Very well made! Quick shipping, very happy!! Time will tell how they hold up but came with every size 8 to 19 and 5/16 to 3/4.. for the price you cant beat this package! So much cheaper than on the tool truck and same manufacture as matco I'm told!! You wont regret this set. I work on semi trucks so if they will hold up there, they will hold up anywhere!! I'll let you know if they fail the test but I cant complain right now...

Well Done and High Value Socket Set

The Sunex 3/8-Inch Drive Master Impact Socket Set I received had oiled and well made sockets that look & should preform as well as the $100 to $150 dollar socket sets on the market. Very, very happy with a great deal from this company. Note: Sunet Tools are made in Taiwan & have a lifetime warranty. SnapOn & other US made tools might be higher quality but are are much higher in price.

Love the kit

Love the kit. So far so good, no broken sockets with my high torque Milwaukee impact and an adapter, but I mainly use them with my 3/8" Milwaukee impact. My Sunex tool pile is growing bigger and bigger as I use more of their tools

Great set!

I use them daily professionally. Honestly I think they are just as good as what the tool trucks are selling these days, and I have had no reason to upgrade or replace them. If you are considering these vs. similar set by Grey Pneumatic get these, the reason is warranty with sunex is a breze and with grey pneumatic is a pain. Otherwise they are nearly the same.

Awesome socket set, very well made. Sunex is the closest to the big brands without breaking the bank on ya. They are a very tough steel, even the feelING of them in your hands, you can tell they are made well. I've takenever off old rusty bolt with this set with easy, didn't have to struggle to get it to fit right on the bolt, they come lightly sprayed with an oil as to prevent rust. The case is tough, compact, fits nicely in my tool chest. They also went pretty far as to mark the clearly TWICE what size they are so you're not searching like a fool for a 9/16. Can be used with regular Ratchet wrenches too so it eliminates the need for two sets of sockets, one impacts and the other regular sockets, I just use the impacts for everything, they're tough.

Nice Quality Product

It's always a risk buying sight unseen more so when the items have to be shipped internationally where returning them is worth more than the product bought.However i'm pleased with my both my purchases of the 1/4" & 3/8" socket sets.The quality is not a concern as they are on par with the likes of snap-on or stahlwillie (which i own).. The sockets appear to have flank drive which will aid them in not stripping nuts or bolt edges..Thinking of buying the 1/2" set .It's good to see Taiwan making decent quality products. Once upon a time they didn't

BUY THIS!!!

Buy this! Even if you don't need it buy it! I was skeptical about the quality of Sunex. However these sockets sold me on Sunex as a company. Since purchasing these sockets I have purchased various other Sunex products and have been more than satisfied. Simply excellent sockets and you absolutely will not find a better price for sockets of this quality anywhere! I have used Snap-On, Matco, Mac and Cornwell sockets and this is tool truck quality. I personally like these sockets more than any of the competitors. Also I saw a set of these on the Cornwell truck and found out Cornwell warranties them, what more could you ask for? Again, do yourself a favor and buy this set!

Nice molded case not cheap breakable plastic

Very durable sockets for the price .Nice molded case not cheap breakable plastic ..it would be nice if top was removable for drawer organization but not complaining . Does not skip sizes...Very nice they include a universal (wobbly) adapter and a short extension Only drawback is that the smaller sizes (example) 8mm ,10mm the sockets are full size round and not as compact as standard Non impact sockets but still very usable.

Good for professional use

I am a mechanic. I'm just starting out and I wasn't ready to pay for Mac or SnapOff Impact sockets. In 3 months of using these 6 days a week they have heals up fine and were well worth the money. I use the 13mm and 15mm multiple times in a day. If I could re do this purchase I would have only gotten the metric sizes as I have only used the American sizes on one occasion. It it was on a mostly metric mower.
