these have been the perfect wine stoppers. i have used these for a while now and i have nothing but good things to say. they have kept my SPARKLING wine very fresh and for a very long time. the stopper reseals the pressure perfectly. and of course, other wines are kept fresh too. i was a bit iffy when i first bought them cuz of the colors and i didnt know much about what i needed. BUT, they are cheap and totally worth every penny. they work for their purpose, plain and simple. cant beat the value.or the utility.

Works Perfectly

I am very pleased with these wine stoppers. In all fairness, we do not drink sparkling wine so I have no idea how effective they are if you do use them in a bottle of sparkling wine. These are just perfect for us. I have arthritis in my hands and I can easily put them in the bottle securely. I have no trouble removing them either. We store our wine in an upright position sometimes and sometimes on it's side. No problems either way, we are very satisfied with this product and would recommend it.

Can't do better than 8 weeks!

Why would I give a wine stopper a 5 star review? Simple. I accidentally left a 1/2 bottle of chardonnay in my refrigerator on January 26th 2015 corked with the a rabbit stopper. We were leaving on an 8 week trip to Florida. I returned home on March 5th 2016 and was surprised by the 1/2 bottle of chardonnay that I assumed was "turned". I took the rabbit cork out and the wine was still wonderful and fresh. Why would you buy anything else? An accidental 8 week test sold me.....

Do the job perfectly with any huffing and puffing

My father-in-law used to work up a sweat at the end of dinner when there was wine left in the bottle using one of those pump-the-air-out-of-the-bottle things, puffing and panting and doing his best to make sure no air stayed in that bottle. I have a different approach. Firstly, I try not to leave any wine in the bottle at all, I find that to be the most effective solution to wine going bad. However, if I cannot, I use a Metrokane Rabbit. A Metrokane rabbit is not a rabbit that has adjusted to life in the city, no, it is a wine bottle stopper that firstly, requires no huffing, puffing, sweating and effort (who wants that (in the kitchen) after drinking a few glasses?), and that secondly, fit neatly and securely into a wine bottle, such that it can be left to rest horizontally with no fear of spillage. And honestly, I can't tell any difference between my approach and his (and I don't have a red face when I've stoppered my bottle). So in short, these things work wonderfully, but one word of warning - they tend to be 'borrowed' by wine drinking friends, so make sure you buy a few. Once they see the rabbit, and they have some wine in them for courage, they steal the rabbit when your back is turned.

Terrific wine bottle stoppers!!

I have bought these wine stoppers for years and can attest to the fact that they are wonderful. These stoppers seal the wine bottle better than any I have ever tried. I learned over the summer, though, you can't trust the stopper not to come out if you put the bottle in a cooler while rafting down a river. If the bottle turns over, the stopper comes out. They're easy to take on and off

What can I say, these do everything you expect them to do. They're easy to take on and off, nothing leaks, looks great. We have bottles of wine sitting in the fridge on their sides with these rabbits in them and not one drop spills out.

So good, we given these as gifts

These keep wine fresh easily for 3 days and some bottles up to a week in the fridge. But the part I like best is that it works for soda too. Kept the bubbles in the 1/2 bottle of root beer for 5 days!

Wonderful Wine Stoppers

I waited after purchasing these to write my review, as I wanted to give it time to see how well they performed. I am very pleased with these wine bottle stoppers. Mine came in a clear case that I keep them in, when not in use. They are simple to clean and keep air from the wine. I have used them with sparkling wines, and even though I didn't leave the wine for a long period of time, it still retained its sparkle for several days. Very pleased with my purchase.

Very functional.

Been giving them away to friends who try to recork wine with the actual bottle cork. It never works (well). These work exceptionally well, are easy to clean, are inexpensive, one package can likely keep all your currently open bottles sealed. Or if you only ever need one at a time, you can give them away to buddies trying to squeeze old corks back into their bottles!!

Seals well!

Thes seal very well. They slide in very easy, no effort at all. They don't work perfectly with champagne. The pressure from the bubbles can cause the stopper to pop out. If you are very careful to not shake the bottle, and carefully place into fridge, maybe it will hold. But don't be surprised if you find the stopper on the floor the next morning. So just drink all the champagne in one sitting. Leave these for regular wine and beer. You'll thank me later...
