I got my first guitar and a cheap amp came with it. I thought all the cracks, pops, and fuzz I was hearing was just because I had a crappy amp. Since I can't afford a new amp yet, I took a gamble on this cable. It cut down om almost all the noise and saved my crappy "hollinger" amp. Also 10ft is a must, forget that 5ft. I am still saving for a real amp, but in the meantime at least I can play without interference.

The quality on this cable is noticeable. The covering is more pliable than other cords. Even Monster cables feel cheap after handling this one. No matter how hard I try I cannot get the cable inside to kink within the covering. The cord gets a little stiff in the cold, but softens up quickly when brought into the warm. The stress reliefs stay in place and help to keep the jack connector covers in it place. Plus, should you ever have a cable malfunction, just take it to the nearest music store and trade it for a new one...for free. That’s right. No fuss, no waiting, and no receipts. If a cord goes bad, Fender has your back. Great instrument cables. Would highly recommend.

Love this cable! Been searching for a cable that doesn’t kink and feels durable. This is it! Doesn’t kink, yet easy to coil! Feels different from any cable I’ve purchased before. Molded ends so you can’t repair if needed but I don’t expect a problem with this cable! Ordered a 10’. Going to order a 15’ cable. It’s that good! Great clarity and increased volume. Quiet, no hum! FG10 A2Q218 stamped on molded ends.

This is by far the best guitar cable I have ever had. It is built like a tank. Depending on the potentiometers (volume and tone controls) and the input impedance of your amplifier, the cable's electrical characteristics can have a deleterious effect on your guitar's sound. So while you can economize on some things, it does not pay to use cheap cables. Cheapies will let you down mechanically and electrically. Something that does not do the job is not inexpensive no matter how little it costs.

Arrived on time, bought this to replace a thought to be dead cable only to find out that the input on my brothers amp is actually bad ironically the old cable died on his older amp so it wound up being a necessary purchase anyway :P I can say having heard him play with his old cable (when it was good) and this one the difference is immeasurably better I'm not sure if its just the thicker/better quality wires or plugs being used, or that his recent input jack repair on his guitar is the factor of this better sound either way its definitely worth it if need or want to get a better cord than a cheapo one. Pros: Arrived on time It's a thicker more sturdy feeling cable that doesn't feel like it will wear out anytime soon Looks really classy (if you have el cheapo equipment prepare to be embarrassed by this cable) Possibly delivers better audio to your amplifier (again not sure I'm not an electrician or musician) It's brand name Cons: Nothing that isn't super important I do wish that the cable had been packaged in shrink wrap or whatever that lightweight plastic is called Will update to 5 stars in the future after it's been used frequently just to make sure its gonna last awhile

I like the quality of the cable. It's really well built and the implementation of the right-angled jack puts less stress on the jack itself allowing it to flow nicely down to the floor and out to your amp. It takes away the stress from being bent since it sits flush against the body of the instrument. This is a must have if you always run into intermittent amp cords because of the cable being stressed out. Buy these- you can't go wrong!

Well, I had a fender mini amp for practicing my guitar at home and figured "why not try the cable?" I actually already had an amp cable which I brought from the guitar store but hated the color. This cable cost less than the one I had and it is thicker, sturdy and looks nicer. For now, I'm happy with. I tried it out the first day I got out and have no complaints. If things should change then I will revise my review at that time.

This cable is a good middle ground between price and quality. There are higher quality cables, and there are cheaper cables, but I believe if you're just using it for playing guitar (or another electric instrument) around the house, you really can't go wrong with this Fender cable. The signal is clean and sounds clear. I didn't get any static or fuzz. The cable is soft and not as rigid as my last one, which I like. I don't know that I'd use this for playing gigs, but for home use, it's perfect. Can't speak to durability yet, but unless I update this saying otherwise, just assume it's working as expected. I'm happy with my purchase.

I was having feedback issues with the guitar center instrument cables I had. At first I thought maybe one of the tubes in my amp, mainly the effects loop, had gone. Then I used those cables in the front of the amp and got a lot of static feedback. My noise gate had to be put on near 2 o'clock to get rid of it. I hated that sound. I got 4 of these with the right angle ends on my effect pedals and let me tell you, no more feedback. My effects loop sounds clean. The front of the guitar sounds amazing. I honestly don't think I need my isp g-string anymore. Buy these cables and buy them now

I purchased this Fender Performance Series Instrument Cable after having purchased a lesser known brand that had great reviews and appeared to be a quality product but ended up being a poorly made noisy product. This Fender cable does not disappoint! The cable feels and looks very well made and most importantly produces clear precise audio with no noisy unwanted feedback or pops. Makes my little Pignose Hog Amp sound way better than with previous audio cables. I will certainly buy this product again when the need arises.
