Accurate, Fast Computing & Superb Build Quality.

An excellent pH pen! It has powerful, speedy and accurate computing with a user friendly interface. The difference between a quality Bluelab pen and cheaper option is noticeable immediately in use and design. It has an awesome backlight display, temperature sensor, automatic on/off and solid overall feel. The use of a AAA battery is most preferable over the tiny watch batteries most other pH pens use. Don't waste your time going near the cheaper options. "Price friendly" versions cannot compare in build quality, accuracy and product life. Not to mention customers support is dismal, if not entirely non existent at the lower end of the price brackets. Bluelab customer support is outstanding, answering any questions I had promptly. There is also ample information about their products and uses online in the form of websites and videos. Be sure to purchase a bottle of extra KCl storage solution and pH 4 & 7 respectively for monthly/weekly calibration.

Spend the extra cash on this one..... You can thank me later. ✌

Hands down the best PH pen there is. (for the hobbyist, or home grower) I've had others around the same price range but the Bluelab PH pen is faster, more durable, and more accurate than any other I've had. Plan on buying more Bluelab products.

i love mine

good morning campers i use my pen to grow medical cannabis im on my second set of battery,s my only issue with this pen is it takes some time to get it down right its not all that easy to calabrate but once i got that down its a great pen that i test aganist the drops now and then to insure its on the money this is a well made product that will last if you take care of her

Outstanding

It's fairly simple the soaking it for 24 hours in storage solution and celebration are very simple if you can read at a 3 grade level so I'm sure most will not have a problem and the rest can simply you tube it this is my second one the only reason I had to buy a second was I lost the first lol I recommend it a bit pricey I wouldn't say outrageous but you get what you pay for I also have the matching TDS pen I've had it for a few years now and it's very accurate I'm not always on top of monthly calibrations and still very accurate

Not sure why there seem to be so many negative reviews of this product. I followed the setup instructions and this thing works better than any of the other 30 or so ph pens I have used in the past. This thing is very accurate. Just what I needed!

Great, compact, handy little probe

Love this pH pen as it is extremely accurate and dependable. As long as you calibrate and store it properly it will serve you well. Definitely spring for the KCl storage solution; do not store this probe in distilled or deionized water or even tap water or you will ruin it in short order. I use this to make sure the pH probe on my saltwater aquarium is accurate so I can calibrate it when it starts to drift with improper readings. I also use this on a hot tub to maintain proper pH and it is a lifesaver compared to the pH test strips. I was having water quality issues due to pH on my tub being out of range due to inaccurate readings from test strips and this has helped me keep my pH constant and my tub enjoyable again. Take care of this probe and it will take care of you.

Best PH pens on the market! Use all of the different meters from Bluelab on our farm and they work amazing! Super reliable, completely submersible, and super accurate as long as you keep storage solution in the pen. Watch out it tends to dry out if you don’t take care of the storage solution, but then it’s super easy to soak and recalibrate. They make our babies happy and us happy in turn!

Best ph pen i've had

I used to have those cheap $20 ph pens but they wouldn't hold a calibration. Then I bought the Blue Labs ph pen and it keeps calibration so far. It wants to be calibrated once a month and has a check mark on the screen that goes away when it needs to be calibrated again. Calibration is very easy on the Blue Labs ph pen. The directions are on the back of the pen. If this ever broke, I'd def buy another one.

Worth the money

After purchasing cheaper pH pens and having to always having issues with being accurate, and constantly checking their calibrations more often then needed, broke down and purchased a Bluelab. Great quality, and accuracy out of the box. Holds accuracy longer, durable for daily use, and the abuse of a real world garden area. Would strongly recommend not wasting money on the cheap Ph pens and purchase a quality unit at the get go.

Don't listen to the reviews. Just make sure you buy from Bluelab or Amazon. If you get a return, return in. Yes you need storage and calibration solution. If that's a deal breaker don't get it i guess?
