I actually needed replacements for all 3 of these handy utensils. Yes, the veg peeler, the one with serrated blades, & the julienne peeler can be mine at my local 99 cents store. For a bit less. But I wanted reliability & durability, which Oxo products deliver in spades. Look at the trio of darling bright colors! All 3 tools have sharp blades, pivoting comfy handles. I march forth, into the kitchen, unafraid, understanding that these 3 Oxo tools will liven up my recipes, & perform expertly, every time. These fun colors inspire me to crank up my salsa music, & dance through all my food preps. !Vaya!

Excellent peelers. I work as a cook at a country club and this set is great. The julienne peeler makes quick work of carrots and cucumbers (and is much simpler and safer to use than a mandolin slicer), the regular peeler glides through carrot and potato peels with ease, and the serrated peeler is great for fruit and thick-peel veggies. I would highly recommend these for both home and professional cooks looking to simplify the mundane task of peeling.

Love these! The little snap on safety covers are great, so you don't dig through your utensil drawer and cut your fingers. Super sharp. The handles are the perfect size for my smallish hands. I've got arthritis in my fingers on one hand and in my wrist on the other so I can no longer peel with a knife as I used to. If I'd have known how much easier this makes peeling things, I'd have bought them long ago. I'll be sending these as gifts for loved ones too. Buy them, you won't be sorry.

We lost the OXO Swivel Peeler we loved. I went to Amazon to find a replacement and saw this 3 piece set for only $6 more than a single OXO. I decided to get the 3 instead. I assumed that the Serrated Peeler would function as a backup to the Swivel Peeler and the Julienne Peeler would just sit in the drawer. I was wrong. While the Serrated Peeler can do a decent job on carrots, it does a great job on peaches and nectarines. My wife had given up trying to use a swivel peeler on soft fruit. Now she peels them all the time with the Serrated Peeler. We rarely had carrots in any form in our salads. I tried the Julienne Peeler on a carrot just for the hell of it. I found it very easy to use. Now our salads just don't look colorful enough without being garnished with strips of carrot. The only down side to this set is that the handles are not black like that of the stand-alone Swivel Peeler. The handles have deep slits in them. This gives the handles the great feel that make the OXO peelers vastly superior to other brands. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to clean dirt out of the slits. You can't see the dirt with a black handle. You can with the brightly colored handles.

This handy set of 3 different peelers has wide, comfortable handles, sharp blades, and can also be used by left-handed folks. There are snap on plastic covers for the blades, which increases safety when stored. The handles are not slippery and have a hole for hanging. Unsure whether all three peelers would have been needed if purchased separately, but this is an economical set. OXO also makes a slightly different set with 3 color handles. Here is a regular peeler, a serrated peeler for softer fruits and zesting, and a wide julienne peeler, which all work great. Recommended.

Hate every peeler I've ever used. Best pizza cutter I've ever had is an Oxo, so I thought I'd try these. Still the same basic design as they've used for a hundred years, but the big grippy handles are great, and these things are really, really sharp. Huge improvement. (Although I'll admit, it's possible that my cheapie steel peelers were sharp at one time, too.)

For peeling vegetables of every type and variety - you need these peelers. The handle is comfortable. The peeling edge is just right. Easy to use and to clean. These come with a small plastic protector for the blade. Wider version is perfect for potatoes, turnips and butternut squash - any larger vegetable which can be peeled. Slender version is the best choice for carrots, parsnips, apples - any small veggie or fruit suitable to peel. These peelers are long lasting. I have not needed to sharpen mine. Perfect gift for students or anyone setting up a new kitchen.

While I admit to having just about zero used for the julienne peeler, and if I had this purchase to make over I might buy the other two peelers separately without the julienne peeler, the other two peelers are incredible. I never thought much about my vegetable peeler, it was just a utility item, I've always had the cheap little metal ones you get at the dollar store and they've worked well enough. I love persimmons, and bought this set because I wanted a serrated peeler to better peel my persimmons. I figured, as long as I was going for a good peeler, I may as well upgrade my straight peeler as well, and could not be happier with that choice. It never occurred to me that a vegetable peeler could be comfortable in my hand and sharp enough to peel just about anything with ease. The only complaint I can think of for this product is that it is so sharp, you need to be careful cleaning it so you don't peel your fingers. But that isn't really a complaint, the shape of the peelers keeps your hands safe, and I certainly wouldn't want them if they were dull.

I had a great stainless steel potato peeler which I used almost every day to peel cucumbers. Apparently, it got accidentally thrown away, and I couldn't find another just like it. So I took a chance on this three piece Good Grips, mainly for the potato peeler, but I couldn't pass up the value of the three piece. So far, I have only used the potato peeler (on cucumbers) but it alone is awesome! The grip is so nice and the blades are nice and sharp. Cucumber peels just slide off. I am extra careful to make sure this one doesn't get thrown away. I am definitely a fan and recommend this product!

I have an OXO peeler I've had for many years, and it's still working great. But I frequently found that I needed a peeler and my current one was in the dishwasher. First world problems, I know, I know. I found this trio on Amazon and figured since it was only a couple dollars more than buying the peeler alone, I'd get all three. They are fabulous! While my decade-old one still works just fine, using these made me realize how SHARP they are. I let my kids use the older one when they want to help, because I worry they'd peel their fingers off with these.
