Don't pay Harley-Davidson's price!
I have seen some complaints and bad reviews on this puller. Some said poor fitment to the bearing and others had trouble pressing the bearings back in the hub. I don't understand. I didn't even read the instructions and I have never pressed or pulled a sealed bearing before. A little antisieze around the bearing (do not get any on the bearing seals) and they almost went back in by themselves. I snugged the bearing backing plate tight against the bearing and tapped around the plate as I made the first few turns of the wrench. The bearings didn't get jammed up and went in smoothly and easily. Also, with just a little elbow grease the bearings came right out. The only complaint I have is the brass thrust washer was nearly ruined pulling two bearings. Maybe because I uses WD40 for lube instead of grease. I'll just grab a new washer. So really, and I am not trying to be a jerk, but if you have trouble using this tool, I would worry about your safety if you do all your own repairs on your bike. Also, if you paid the crooks at Harley the extremely excessive price they ask for their puller, you were robbed. Plain and simple..

I can attest that Pit Posse stands behind their tools, and gives first class service.
I screwed up one of the puller adapters for pulling the wheel bearings on my Sportster (3/4 inch), just out of the box, because my wrench was too thick, and it contacted and stripped the threads below the nut. My own fault, so I contacted Pit Posse, said I wanted to order just the replacement adapter, and in the end, they sent me a new one, free of charge. I can't say enough about those guys, they exceeded my wildest expectations, and the tool worked great, once I got the new one (and a thinner wrench). My wrench set was an ancient Craftsman set that was built to last, with a bit more meat to it than those today, thicker, and I should have been paying attention. Anyway, I can attest to the fact that Pit Posse stands behind their tools, and then some, and their people and operation are first class. I wouldn't be afraid to buy any tool they make after this experience.

Worked as expected-
I just completed replacing the wheel bearings in my 2014 HD Ultra Limited- a total of 6 bearings- 4 for the wheels, and 2 for the rear sprocket/pulley. The "flats" on the collet did work well with a 16mm wrench. Other nuts and bolt heads were "off" a bit, and I ended up using a crescent wrench on a couple, but that didn't cause any problems. The tool worked very well for pulling the bearings. No issues at all. And for the most part it worked well installing the bearings. The one challenge was using the tool to install the bearings in the sprockey/pulley. The pulley was too narrow to be able to use the long install bolt- the bolt was threaded only about half way. I was able to use the bolt by stacking some of the other pieces on the bolt to position the threaded part of the bolt. I did faithfully lubricate the threads with light machine oil. I also lubricated the outer bearing races. The tool is well made, and i was suprised to see it was made in Taiwan, not China. Everything fit well in the provided case. The printed instructions to me were a bit lacking, but there are many videos on You Tube, ect... to show how the tool works. The price was also good- a third of what the Harley Davidson branded tool costs.

Awesome!
I previously used the wedge and taper bearing removers (around $20), but I think i messed up the new bearings by using the old wood and hammer method. Couldn't keep them straight, had to tap one side at a time, just didn't work. I almost paid to have a shop change them the second time, but I figured I would rather buy the right tool and give it another shot. Got this tool and WOW. What a game changer, I still used my old remover (mostly because I already knew how to use them), but even just getting this for the install portion was such a good idea. PRO TIP. I left my bearings in the refrigerator for a couple days prior to installing them. Use some anti seize during install and it was a breeze. Could not believe how easy it was. Highly recommended.

Good kit if a bit pricey
Works well and once you've used it once it's much quicker because you understand the process. The video was fairly good with my only complaint is they used a hex key extension at one point that was all black and I thought it was a component of the kit, which lead me down the wrong path for a bit. I think my only real complaint is that it's a bit pricy and that most of us dont have the need for a 25mm, 1" and 3/4, since we dont run a shop. Be nice if you could by the case with only the size you needed and if you needed a new size you could buy it seperately and add to the case to put together a more complete set only if you needed additional sizes in an effort to make it more affordable to the do it yourselfers.

Works like a champ!
I read the reviews, some folks had challenges with it. I lubed the threads, as recommended in the instructions, and paid close attention to what I was doing and the tool worked like a charm. I removed a 25mm set, a 1" set and installed a 25mm set. It'll last me a long while. Thanks for an affordable tool, and thanks for the youtube video.

A savior
I fell for the MotionPro bearing puller. Complete waste of time and money. Did nothing. I bought this one, and the bearing were out in a few minutes. Very easy to use. With a little anti-sieze, had the new bearings in in a few more minutes. This is the one I recommend. I keep the MotionPro so that I can loan it to some one I hate.

Works perfectly
Very simple, just follow directions, grease all threads & it'll remove & install wheel bearings quickly & easily. I did both bearings in my Harley's front wheel in about 1/2 hour. Old ones slide right out, new ones slid right in. This kit was cheaper than HD's rate to do both wheels. I have no doubt that any bad reviews are by those that either didn't follow directions or just didn't use it right.

Decent quality, reasonable price.
I used them last night to pull and push the bearings on my Fat Bob. The quality seems quite good. I do think it’s critical that the threads get lots of shlitz on them. Because I’m not making a living using it , I feel the kit should last. Do it!!! Also, having read some of the reviews that reference the lack of proper machining on the removal collets, be sure to hold the collet with the allen(hex) head inside the wheel while torque is applied to pull the old bearings out. No need for vise grips!

good quality for the money
Great product I used this bearing removal and installation tool so I could take my wheels to a powder coating company. It worked great. Only down side is I'd like to see instructions with pictures.and a little more detail would have been nice. If you have a little mechanical knowledge you'll be fine
