This little projector is fantastic. For those who want to use it with an iPhone (we are using it with a 6s) - it does require the purchase of a couple of extra cables. Specifically, you need an HDMI to mini HDMI cable and then you need an HDMI to Apple lightning cable. I will try to post photos of what those look like. This was not clear in the posting for the projector and I was wishing someone could explain the right cable configuration for Apple products. So I hope this helps. The HDMI to mini cable was only about $5 and the Apple cable was another $30 on Amazon. What you'll do is insert the mini HDMI end into the projector, the regular HDMI end into the female port on the Apple cable and then the lightning pin end into your phone or iPad. Once it's set up correctly and charged, it works like a champ. One thing to note is that it doesn't charge and play at the same time. So when you get it, you have to give it a full charge before it will work. My son loves this projector and will be able to use it for everything from games and movies to school projects. It's excellent!

I love this projector. With all the pictures I've taken or downloaded* it's fun to see them enlarged on the wall. I worried that the low lumens would make it hard to see. But if the room is dark the projector is plenty bright. I use an HDMI cord to attach it to my laptop but you can use a memory stick if you want to take the projector and your photos to a friends house. *I like downloading; works of art, animated movie or TV stills, album covers, book covers, sci-fi and fantasy art, photos from TV shows and movies, places I'll never go like outer space, deep underwater or Thailand (not that Thailand isn't cool), science photos, pictures I've taken from my books, comics, and magazines, funny pictures, historical photos, etc. Usually I'll look at pictures in the morning while listening to some good Rock and Roll and doing some exercises. It's a great way to start the day.

I bought this for decorating cookies. I mostly do it as a hobby and for family & friends so I couldn't justify purchasing a KopyKake and I didn't want something big & bulky that would need to be stored either. This little projector is easy to use, takes no space and projects a perfectly clear image! I did have a problem with it shutting off the first time I used it. I realized the plug connection was bad. I called and explained my issue and they sent me a new replacement the very next day! The plug was good & snug so I don't anticipate any further issues. Instead of purchasing a more pricey stand for it, I bought one designed for cell phones. It clamps to a table or counter and has a long flexible arm that I can aim over my work surface. (Was only about $10.)

So first off, I have to disclose that this is my 2nd one because the first one was defective based on aaxa’s technical support. It wasn’t recognizing being plugged into any device but amazon’s amazing return policy let me exchange it for a new one with no issues. That being said aaxa’s customer support was great. Michael was very kind and patient and helpful in getting me hooked up with the right cords and trouble shooting. The 2nd one was super easy, plug and play and works perfectly! Michael emailed me the cords to get to connect to my phone and MacBook. So buyer beweare, in addition to this project you need extra cords, one for your phone, one for your MacBook and an hdmi cord, all of which can be purchased on amazon. I also got a desktop tripod for $15 which is way better than the gooseneck clamp, see photo for picture- much more stable and easy to set up!! There’s not much to learn about having to use the projector itself it’s oretty self explanatory but there are plenty of tuitorials on YouTube should you need more direction. One super helpful tip that Michael told me was that you should plug in the power cord (to charge it) to the unit and have BOTH USB’s plugged in!!! I only had one USB plugged in and even after 5 hours, the red light never turned green to indicate a full charge. Once both USB’s Were plugged in, it turned green after a few hours. A lot of reviewers said the batter life isn’t the greatest so I’m wondering if this is where the problem was and people just weren’t giving it a full charge?? If using this for movies I would recommend an additional audio source/speaker because it’s not the greatest. But if it’s just in a small room, the built in speaker would be okay.. but if you like it loud or to hear over other noises around you, it prob wouldn’t be good enough. The lighting/projection itself works even if it’s daytime and you can find a shadow-y wall. Overall, I am very impressed with this projector for the amazing price!! Beats paying $200+ for it!! I also bought the 4 year protection plan, for $11 it seems like a cheap price to pay for something that might not last 4 years, that’s a long time!! ...just sayin’!! Anyway highly recommend!!

Cookie Decorating: I researched a projector for months before buying this. Blown away after my first use! The possibilities are infinite. I can draw anything straight onto my cookie from my photos, Pinterest, etc. Get the Lucinda app and you can then rotate and size any image to fit your cookie. Phonto app gives me more than 400 fonts to choose from. I’m nowhere near technical and watched YouTube instructions on setup and troubleshooting. You DO need an extra cable (not included with the bundle?) for Apple products. You do have to hold your decorating bag at an angle to avoid blocking the image. I initially thought after reading this that it would be problematic for me. Not an issue, I adapted immediately. My Pico has other capabilities that I haven’t explored yet.

I own a bakery and I purchased this projector with the intention of using it to help me decorate sugar cookies...it far surpassed my wildest expectations!! I contemplated purchasing a Kopycake prior to buying this, but the Kopycake is about $300 and I can't imagine it working any better than this projector. This projector is also small, and so easy to use! All you need is a flash drive with your image downloaded onto it and you are ready to go! Such a wonderful product and an amazing price

I usually don't write reviews, but this product deserved one. I don't own one yet but I will be purchasing one after using it last night. My buddy brought his over and we projected the game on the back of my house. The picture quality was amazing, especially for the projector being about the size of an iPhone. We hooked the projector up to my uverse box and an external speaker and watched the entire Oregon/Cal game outside. If you are interested in a mini projector I would highly recommend this one.

I'm a pastry chef and many times I find myself transcribing cake detail from paper onto fondant. I bought this projector to minimize cake detail making and maximizing my productivity. The projector is perfect for the job because I can now plug in my iPhone and project whatever is on the screen onto my cake and the rest is history.

Love my Pico! I use it for sugar cookie lettering and design assistance. Im so glad I went with this instead of a kopykake! If you are trying to decide between the two you should definitely choose the Pico.

This is a great little projector. I love how small it is. I could actually carry it in my pocket if I wanted. It projects well and is clear. I like a lot that it has buttons on top to control the functions. It came with a little bitty tripod that I didn't think would be worth much but it actually worked very nicely because the projector is so light weight. I used it to project an iPad Air (with a lightening to HDMI adapter) and it worked great. This will be great for meetings in a small room or projecting videos in a low-light room. It would not work for a large room or a high light environment. I am comparing this with other pico-projectors to find the best one to buy 10-20 of for a project. So far this one rates right up there.
